While Shohei Ohtani’s lawyers claim the newest Dodgers star was a victim of a “Massive Theft,” others think it could go deeper than that. With the Japanese Superstar set to address the situation later on in the day, much is still unclear... what we do know for sure, though, is that Ohtani and his longtime interpreter are at the center of an investigation into massive sports gambling debts.

It’s Toronto sports talk with Steve Simmons on today’s episode. With Josh Turner signing a one-year, $13 million contract with the Jays, we talk to Steve about the impact he will have on the team heading into the season before taking a wider look at the rather underwhelming and unfulfilling postseason for a baseball team that many believe needed to make significant upgrades to their roster.
