Dogman Encounters Radio

In October of 2017, tonight’s guest, Ethan, decided to check out a place, in the woods near where he lived, that locals claimed was haunted. He didn’t go there alone. He had a friend with him. It was a fairly calm night but there wasn’t much of a moon out. That made it pretty dark in the woods. Even though Ethan was only 17, at the time, he still had more than enough experience in the woods to have a good idea what kinds of animals he might see that night and what kinds he wasn’t likely to see. That brought him a certain level of comfort. That comfort was shattered, however, when a deep growl broke the silence. The sound of that growl shook Ethan to his core. Seconds later, a dark figure stepped into view, on all fours, and then rose to its full, 7-foot height, on its back legs. Then, Ethan did something he wishes he never would have done…

Tonight's guest, Lisa, has been researching Sasquatch for 23 years now. While researching her favorite cryptid, she's spent untold hours in some of the most remote forests in the Lower 48. Sure. She had heard people talk about Dogmen, but she didn't believe, for a second, that they were actually out there. She figured they were just figments of so-called eyewitnesses' imaginations. She and some of the other researchers she knows have even made fun of a woman she knows, after that woman tried to tell them about a Dogman encounter she'd had. Well, less than a week ago, the topic of Dogmen lost all of its humor to Lisa and 3 other Sasquatch researchers, late one night. That was the night the 4 of them had a Dogman encounter of their own.

Tonight’s guest wishes to remain anonymous, so I just called her “Dixie” in tonight’s show. Dixie knows more about wolves than most people. She used to raise wolves, in Northern Minnesota, so it’s safe to say that she knows a thing or two about them. One night, at the beginning of August, in 1995, Dixie was driving home down Highway 23, with her two youngest children. It was about 10:30 PM and they were heading home, through a remote area, after visiting Dixie’s mother. It was a very dark night, due to there being no moon out. Suddenly, something caught her eye off to the right side of the road…

Tonight's guest, Bret, had a Dogman encounter, at a rest stop, near the Nevada/California border that was so extreme, you could almost make a movie about it. The encounter happened on September 28th, 2016, and what made the encounter so much more traumatic for Bret was the fact his dog, Murphy, was with him, at the time. Murphy wound up playing as big of a role in the encounter as Bret did, if not a bigger part. If not for a group of altruistic bystanders, Bret might not be here today. Thank goodness, he is!

In 1991, tonight’s guest, Keith, had his first exposure to Dogmen. At the time, he was on summer break, after his junior year of high school, and had gone over to his dad’s house, with a friend. After arriving there, his dad had an experience to share with Keith that had a profound effect on how he viewed the world around him. Tonight’s guest, Kai, was featured on Episode 381. On that show, she told us about the first Dogman encounter she had and several other Dogman-related experiences she’s had, over the years. Since that show aired, she’s had new experiences and that’s what she’s come back to talk about, on tonight’s show. You see, not far from her home, there’s a lake called Pearl Lake, where strange things have happened and continue to happen. Pearl Lake and the surrounding area are beautiful, but there are things about the lake that just don’t feel right. Vagrants who stay close to the lake never do so in small numbers. They never camp there alone or if there are only a few of them. Also, there aren’t any game trails leading to the water’s edge. That calls to question why animals, in the area, don’t frequent the area around it. Whenever you go there, it always feels like you’re being watched. In fact, the area around the lake is so creepy, Kai’s dad refuses to camp there. Unfortunately, Kai and her husband, Will, found out what the secret is, on a camping trip they went on by the lake. We hope you’ll listen to her talk about what happened that night, as well as share other experiences she’s had since Episode 381 aired.

Tonight’s guest, Adolf Santistevan (he goes by the nickname A.D.), used to love to go camping, hiking, and spending time in the mountains. After having the experiences he’s had, however, he no longer enjoys doing those things. If you listen to tonight’s show, you’ll understand why he’s lost interest in doing those things. A.D. has camped in some very remote places, but now he insists on being home before nightfall. One of the reasons why he can’t do a lot of the things he used to love doing is an experience he had while he was looking for Sasquatch prints, at a place near Pine Flat Dam, in Fresno County, California. He had gone there, that day, with a Sasquatch researcher, named Allen Thomas. After arriving at there, A.D. Told Allen that he was going to check out a place, next to The King’s River, where there was a dirt road. Knowing the dirt road would be a great place to look for prints, A.D. was excited about what he might find when he got to it. Sometimes, there’s a price to be paid for not watching where you’re going, in the wilderness. You never know what you might walk up on, if you’re not careful. That was a hard lesson A.D. learned that day.

In 2017, tonight’s guest, Javier, and two of his friends, heard about a family of Sasquatch that had been seen around Avocado Lake, which is about 15 minutes north of where they live, in the Central Valley of California. After hearing about the Sasquatch sightings there, Javier and his friends started researching that area, hoping to see the Sasquatch there and learn more about them. Tonight’s guest, Liz, has had a phobia of Werewolves since she was 5 or 6 years old. You see, when she was around that age, her brother would play cruel jokes on her that caused her to be terrified of Werewolves. It’s a fear Liz carries with her to this day. Of course, when you fear something that really exists, it’s understandable to most people. When you fear something, like Werewolves, that aren’t supposed to exist, however, most people find that fear to be pretty ridiculous. After all, everyone knows that Werewolves don’t exist, right? Well, what do you do when you’re terrified of Werewolves and find yourself just feet from what looks just like one, on a remote country road? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to Liz. For some time now, I’ve noticed a pattern. People who’ve had near death experiences seem to be more likely to have Dogman encounters than people who haven’t had an NDE. What’s behind that, I don’t know, but there definitely seems to be something to that. Tonight’s guest, Chadwick Cooke, suffered a bad fall and, consequently, wound up having an NDE, on Superbowl weekend, of 2014. Was the NDE he had responsible, in some way, for the Dogman encounter he wound up having? There’s no way to know, definitively. All we can do is guess. You see, with over 30 nights spent camping out, in the wild places of Portugal, “David” used to think there were no large predators to be found in his country. Late one night, however, in the middle of nowhere, he learned otherwise. You see, late one night, when he was in college, he left a concert and got lost way out in the countryside. He thought he’d be able to navigate his way home from the concert, but he took a wrong turn and wound up walking miles out into the countryside. Tonight’s guest, Mike Colontonio, is an Army veteran who, unfortunately, suffered PTSD while he was deployed in Afghanistan. After coming home, he tried various things to occupy his time, in hopes that would help him deal with the trauma of his deployment. Finally, he settled on spending time in the woods. At first, nothing unordinary happened on the almost daily trips he took into the forest. Then, after some time, he had his first Sasquatch encounter. Not long after that, he had another and then another. It would be a stretch to say that he formed a bond with the Sasquatch he had multiple encounters with but, at least, one of the Sasquatch he’d seen, several times, must have felt some sort of connection to Mike. That’s because that Sasquatch saved Mike from a Rake/Crawler that, seemingly, was planning to attack Mike. If you want to hear Mike share the details of what happened, the day that Sasquatch saved him from that Rake, he’s not only the guest on tonight’s episode of Dogman Encounters. After he had that terrifying Rake encounter, it took him some time to get his confidence back, but he eventually got it back. When he did, he took a trip to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. And that’s where he had his first Dogman encounter. That’s right. I said first, because he’s had several encounters now. Some of them mortified him too!

In late October of 2020, tonight’s guest, Will, went to his friend Brad’s house, about 6 miles from where Will lived. The two of them worked on motorcycles, talked about various things, and had a great time in the process. Around 11:30 that night, Will decided to head home, in his Fiat 500 Abarth. Being a nice night out, he decided to take the long way home, down some scenic country roads. While he was driving down Highway 11, his biggest concern was hitting a deer in the road. As fate would have it, he was about to have to contend with something much more worrisome than having a deer in his path, on the road. The moment he saw this huge creature, it focused its attention on him and charged!

Tonight’s guest, Dylan, is a cattle farmer who had his first Dogman encounter when he was only 9 years old. Luckily, that encounter wasn’t very traumatic, as far as Dogman encounters go. Since then, he’s had 3 more encounters. Each new encounter he’s had has been more intense and frightening than the one(s) he had prior. While it’s true that his third encounter was frightening, it doesn’t hold a candle to the living nightmare he and his friends were made to endure, deep in a Florida forest, late one night. That night, when he and his friends encountered a Dogman that was so big, it towered over a stop sign, things got so intense and frightening, one of his friends passed out from fright!

In early November, of 2019, tonight’s first guest, Brittany, had taken a couple of months off work, to plan a wedding recharge her batteries. She was staying with her aunt at the time, in Virginia. Her aunt lived in a very remote area, so it took a good amount of time to get to the grocery store. Brittany had gone to Kroger’s one night, which was roughly an hour trip, each way, and was heading back to her aunt’s house. Not long after turning off the main road and onto a seldom traveled country road, a pair of eyes caught her attention up ahead. To her surprise, she could tell that it couldn’t be a deer that was staring back at her. Deer wouldn’t have eyes that high off the ground. As she got closer, she could tell that the eyes were higher, off the ground, than a round bale of hay. They were higher than the roof of her truck! As she got closer, more and more details became visible and soon, she could tell that she was looking at something she’d never seen before.
In February of 2007, tonight’s second guest, Brandon, was sent home from work early by a manager who was standing in for his normal manager, due to his normal manager being out on vacation. A coworker was sent home early too and since they both lived close to each other, Brandon drove most of the way home behind that coworker. Brandon had been driving a fair distance behind the other man when all of a sudden, he saw him swerve off the road to avoid hitting something. Wondering what it was that had made his coworker swerve, like that, he continued to approach and soon noticed a large, black figure walking down the middle of the road, swaying as it walked. Little did he know, he was about to have an experience that was going to change the way he looks at everything.

Late one night, in the summer of 2018, tonight’s guest, Matt, was driving from Cushing, Oklahoma to the town of Bristow. He was driving his Dodge Challenger, delivering blood. He was driving through a very remote area, where the closest house was miles away. There was a partial moon out, that night, so he had a limited view of the countryside around him. Matt had been enjoying the ride, due to how peaceful the drive had been but that was about to change. You see, after rounding a curve in the road, he noticed a figure standing in a field, not too far from the road. At first, he thought it might have been a man but whatever it was, it was too tall to be a man. That made him start to wonder if it might have been a small tree. No. It wasn’t a tree either. Trees don’t do what that figure was about to do to Matt. Due to the encounter Matt had that night, he suffered from nightmares that just might have been more difficult for him to deal with than the encounter was, and it was a pretty intense one. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him talk us through what happened. Before that night, Matt didn't believe in the existence of Werewolves. He has a different view on that now.

Tonight’s guest, Kirk Reed, is an experienced Dogman investigator who is also the cohost of the Abnormal Investigations Podcast. Kirk has had encounters while he was investigating Dogman sightings and at times when they weren’t even on his mind. One of the most intense encounters he’s had happened while he was sitting in his Jeep Liberty. It was brand new, and he had just driven it to his friend’s house, to show it to him, when the encounter happened. The next thing Kirk knew, he was eye to eye with a Dogman that had jumped over his hood. It was standing less than 30 inches from him, staring at him, intently. That’s not the only intense Dogman encounter Kirk’s had. Two episodes ago, on Episode 467, Trevor shared the details of his first 4 Dogman encounters with us. By the time he’d finished telling us about his 4th encounter, however, we were already at the one hour mark, so I decided to stop the show there. On tonight’s show, he’s going to share the details of his 5th and most traumatic encounter with you. His 5th encounter was the time a Dogman had him cornered in a cave and came to within 5 feet of Trevor. Trevor still has a lot of trouble talking about his experiences. He’s getting better, but it’s going to be some time before he’s able to deal with his encounters in a healthy way. With that in mind, he deserves a lot of credit for sharing his encounters, like this, the way he is.

Due to how I’ve edited the show, to hide all but one of the breaks we had to take while recording the show, it seems like recording this show was easier for Trevor to do than it actually was. Are you one of the listeners who thinks Dogman encounters are neat and you wish you could have one of your own? Trust me. There’s nothing neat about having a Dogman encounter. To illustrate my point, tonight’s guest, Simon, was featured on Episode 450 and on that show, he talked about the encounter he had in Judy Woods, in Woodside, West Yorkshire, England. When he had that encounter, he was taking a little dog home, from his friend Ronnie’s house, through Judy Woods. The poor dog became frightened when a Dogman made its presence known and ran off, never to be seen again. Well, about 6 weeks ago, Simon, his girlfriend, and his friend, Michael, headed back to the place where he had his first encounter. Unfortunately, they got more than they bargained for. The encounter they had was so terrifying, his girlfriend was committed to a mental institution, due to her inability to come to terms with what happened to the 3 of them that night. If you think Dogman encounters are fun and games, you need to listen to tonight’s show. They most definitely aren’t.

It’s been some time since I’ve spoken with an eyewitness who has been as traumatized by their encounter or encounters as tonight’s guest, Trevor, is. Due to how strongly affected he’s been, by his 5 Dogman encounters, understandably, recording tonight’s show was very difficult for him. In fact, we had to stop the recording process 5 times. On tonight’s show, Trevor is going to share the details of his first 4 encounters with you. When you hear what he’s been through, it should be evident why talking about those experiences is so difficult for him. It took a lot of courage for him to come on the show and do this and he deserves a lot of credit for doing it. He told me that his motivation for coming on the show was, he thought he might be able to help other Dogman eyewitnesses by sharing his encounters, like this. Before he could start sharing the details of his 5th and possibly most traumatic encounter, we hit the hour mark, so I decided to stop tonight’s show at that point. I’ll have part 2 ready to air July 14th and on that show (part 2), you’ll be able to hear Trevor share the details of his 5th encounter. Tonight’s guest, Kaden Womack, is a 28 year old computer engineer who grew up in Juneau, Alaska. While he was living there, in his formative years, Kaden used to love doing all sorts of things in the great outdoors. Unfortunately, the great outdoors can be a very unforgiving place to be. That point has been driven home for Kaden on more than one occasion. At 3 AM, on March 1st, of 2021, tonight’s guest, Dave Weigert, was sitting in his cabin, listening to music. It was a very windy night, so he could hear things blowing around outside. Suddenly, he heard a loud banging sound. Thinking that one of his trash cans had blown over, he put on a headlamp, grabbed his coat, and went outside to investigate. After going outside, he walked down to the end of his driveway and saw that his suspicions were right. His trash can was laying on its side. Luckily, his trash hadn’t spilled out of it, so the situation wasn’t as bad as he thought it was going to be. As he was about to find out, however, the situation was much worse than he ever would have imagined! What happened next left him so terrified, he couldn’t move. All he could do was stand there, frozen in place. As you’ll hear, that wasn’t the first encounter Dave’s had with a Dogman, at his property. Now, he thinks about Dogmen on an almost constant basis. If you listen to him share the details of what happened that night, you’ll understand why he does.

Tonight’s guest, Dustyn, is a medium who used to be a werewolf fanatic; borderline obsessed. He use to love watching pretty much any movie with werewolves in it and liked collecting werewolf and wolf-related things. Last Tuesday night, however, his infatuation for them came to a crashing end. You see, Dustyn and his best friend, Seth, had driven to a cemetery, that’s close to Grassy Creek, West Virginia, where Seth’s father is buried, so Seth could put flowers on his father’s grave and spend time with him. It was around 9:30 PM, foggy, and there was only a quarter moon out, so it was very dark. The cemetery is in a fairly remote location, so Dustyn and Seth were all alone. At least, that’s what they thought, at first. After the events that unfolded that night, Dustyn doesn’t want to even think about werewolves now. If you listen to tonight’s show, you’ll understand why he doesn't.

On Sunday, May 17th, of 2009, tonight’s guest, Mike Edwards, left his home in Crowley, Louisiana, with his faithful companion, Hunterbone. Hunterbone was a German Shepherd Mike bought from a local pet store, for $20. Mike left his house that morning at 5:30, with Hunterbone in tow, so the two of them could head to a deserted location 3 miles out of town and do some hunting. They left the house before the sun came up, so it was still very early when they got to the place where Mike wanted to hunt. It was foggy that morning and still dark out. To get to the spot where Mike planned to hunt, they needed to walk across an old, abandoned, train bridge. Due to the bridge being abandoned, it was in a very bad state of disrepair. A lot of the ties were missing from the bridge, so they had to be very mindful of where they stepped. They had gone some distance, across the bridge, when all of a sudden Hunterbone stopped. Not knowing what had put Hunter on alert, like that, Mike started looking around. At first, he couldn’t figure out why Hunter was on edge, the way he was. Then, an 8-foot-tall, demonic-looking dog creature stepped out of the fog, just 20 feet from Mike and Hunter. It had glowing orange eyes and its teeth were bared…

There was a problem with Mike's audio, toward the end of recording tonight's show, that caused me to edit out the end of the interview. That's why you won't hear his closing comments, on tonight's show or the last 20 minutes of the interview we recorded. It's unfortunate, but it happens, sometimes.

When tonight’s guest, Eric Baird, was really young, he was playing in a back bedroom that had been converted into a playroom, at his grandmother’s house, when a Dogman paid him a visit. The experience caused him to have nightmares for years after that. Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be his last encounter with a Dogman. You see, Eric and his family lived right next to the Talladega National Forest, in Alabama. Being a kid who grew up in the country, when he wasn’t doing chores around his family’s property, his favorite pastime was spending time in the woods. A lot of good things can come from doing that, but a lot of bad things can also come from spending that much time in a huge forest, like that, where strange creatures lurk in the shadows. That’s a lesson Eric learned the hard way.

Tonight’s guest, Walter Ricci, is an avid fisherman. He loves nothing more than to head to a remote location, with his dog, where the fishing is good, and putting a line in the water. Well, on April 17th, of this year, Walter decided to try his luck at a very remote spot he’d never been to before. The place is called “9 Mile Cove” and it’s located on the shore of Lake Mohave, in Nevada. It’s such a remote spot, it’s a good hour, by car or truck, from the nearest town. After arriving there, Walter was surprised to see that he and his dog had company. At first the only unexpected company he had was the two women. Not long after that, he saw that another unexpected visitor showed up. It was a huge Dogman that was 5 to 6 feet tall, even though it wasn’t standing on its back feet!

Tonight’s guest, Gregory Keith Brooks, grew up running around in the woods, with his friends, by Nonconnah Creek, in Shelby County, Tennessee. He was a kid of the 70’s and 80’s. Back then, he loved nothing more than seeking out new adventures with his friends, Bear and John. One day, in 1985 or ’86, when Keith, Bear, and John were trying to figure out something fun to do, they decided to dig a cave. After looking around for a good place to dig one, they decided to dig into the side of a cliff and downward and started to make their cave. Every night, Keith and his friends would work on digging that cave. After digging for several nights, they had made a void big enough for all of them to fit in. They called it the genesis room. After completely digging out the genesis room, they decided to keep going and make another room. One night, while Keith and John were sitting outside of the mouth of the cave, next to a fire they had made, what had been a great experience, up until then, suddenly changed. All of a sudden, a bowling ball-sized boulder hit the cliff, above the mouth of their cave and then fell down right in front of the entrance to their cave. When that happened, Keith and John looked at the boulder and then, they shifted their attention to the direction it had been thrown from. To their horror, they suddenly came to the realization that a 7 ½ to 8-foot tall creature, that looked like a Werewolf, was standing just 10 feet away from them, staring at them. As if the situation Keith and John found themselves in wasn’t terrifying enough, what the creature did next took the terror they felt to a whole new level!

When tonight’s guest, Paul Chafin, was 15 years old, he went on a hunting trip in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky, in Pike County. He had decided to walk way back into an area of the mountains where he hadn’t gone, many times, that day. Feeling tired, Paul decided to sit down and lean up against a tree, so he could take a nap. Unfortunately, he overslept and by the time he woke up, nightfall wasn’t far off. Due to how long it had taken him to walk back to where he was, in the mountains, he panicked. He panicked because he knew he’d never be able to make it home before dark. He was even more concerned when, after walking a short distance, he saw that he wasn’t alone back there. He saw a Dogman that was walking a path that intersected the path he was on. The experience Paul had that day, with that Dogman, left him rattled but unharmed. It lit a spark in him, however, that lead him to make learning as much as he could, about Dogmen, a priority in his life. Since Paul came on Episode 354 and shared the details of that 1st encounter he had, he’s had several more experiences. On tonight’s show, he’s come back to share several of those new experiences with you. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him do that.

Tonight’s guest, Doctor Rainman, is a Tuscarora shaman who was born under the sign of the raven, people of the west wind. Doc has been in a few movies. One of the movies he’s in is “Tecumseh, The Last Warrior.” The experiences he had, making that film and others, cross his mind on a fairly regular basis. Obviously, that’s due to how profound those experiences were. Doc had another experience, though, in February of 2015, that was much more profound. That was the night he had his Dogman encounter. Tonight’s guest, “Mark,” grew up in the 70’s and 80’s, roaming the acreage on his grandparent’s farm. Their 667 acre farm was located in the foothills of the Ozark mountains. Back then, “Mark” loved nothing more than exploring the woods on their land, looking for his next adventure to pursue. It was a vast, wild, area and from time to time, “Mark” would hear strange, frightening, vocalizations that he couldn’t identify. As fate would have it, one night, around midnight, he was walking down a dirt road on the farm, with his brother and cousin, when all of a sudden, they saw a Dogman just feet away. Everything was fine and “Mark’ wasn’t afraid, until his cousin decided to pick up a rock and throw it at the Dogman. After his cousin did that, “Mark” was afraid!

Tonight’s guest, Jason Vick, was 4 years old when he had his first encounter. The night it happened, he felt unsettled and afraid, so he asked his mother if he could sleep in her bed, with her. Of course, she said yes. You’d think that would have resolved his fears, but the next morning, while still laying in bed, something beyond terrifying happened to him. Due to what happened, he had a scar for weeks that served as a constant reminder of what happened to him.

When tonight’s guest, Simon, was 26, he was approved for a mortgage on a property of his own. To celebrate, he went to a nearby pub, with his uncle. Instead of that night being celebratory, after they left that pub, it wound up being anything but. Simon had his 2nd encounter on New Year’s Eve, after leaving his friend’s house. You see; that friend lived on the other side of a large woods from where Simon lived. To go to that friend’s house and return home, he would just cut through the woods. The night he had this encounter, he’d stayed at his friend’s house later than he planned. He had taken the shortcut, through that woods, several times before but that night, things were going to be different. Much different than it had ever been, when he’d walked home through those woods.

Tonight’s guest, Mick, was born and raised in Ireland, but in 2001 or 2002, he met a man from Slovakia, and it wasn’t long before the two of them hit it off and became good friends. Well, in 2004, that man got married and invited Mick to his wedding, in the isolated village, in Slovakia, where he was born and grew up. Slovakia is a beautiful country, with ancient forests and sights to die for. Knowing about what Slovakia had to offer someone, like himself, who had an appreciation for nature’s beauty, Mick was really excited about the trip. After arriving there, however, instead of having a great time, he had a Dogman encounter that terrified him so badly, he still has a hard time talking about it, 20 years later! The Dogman he encountered there, in an ancient forest, was truly monstrous in its behavior.

Tonight’s guest, Jess, had a Dogman encounter within the city limits of Norwalk, Ohio. She was walking in a small woods that a lot of residents there walk through on a regular basis. The day she had that encounter, a lot of other people were in and around that woods. Her seeing something that looked like a Wererwolf there, that day, staring at her is hard enough for her to wrap her mind around. The fact so many other people were so near, when her encounter happened, is almost as unbelievable. That encounter unnerved her, but not nearly as much as an encounter she had in her own living room, years prior to that. Are you afraid of Dogmen? If you are, that doesn’t make you any different from most people who know about them. Well, tonight’s guest, Marshall, has had numerous encounters with them, but says that he doesn’t fear them. He did have an encounter with something else, though, that shook him to the core! You see, late one night, around 2 AM, when he was living in an apartment, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he had just come out of his bedroom when he realized that he wasn’t alone. For years, tonight’s guest, Heather, worked 3rd shift, as a bartender. Even though she earned very good money, working as a bartender, she quit her job, after having a Dogman encounter a couple of streets from her home. In fact, that encounter traumatized her so much, she refused to go out, at night, for a long time, after having it. You see, where Heather lives, a couple of streets away, there’s a marshy body of water that has what some people might call a beach, even though that’s not a good way to describe what it really is. Well, last May, on the night of the Flower Moon (full moon), Heather decided to go for a walk, by herself, around that body of water, on the “beach.” Unfortunately, she wasn’t alone. And, there lies the problem!

Countless listeners have expressed their desire to have a Dogman encounter, since the inception of the show. It’s a source of frustration for me, because of the emotional trauma such an experience can inflict upon an eyewitness. A perfect example of this is tonight’s guest, Mike. Mike was featured on Episode 434. On that show, he told us about the huge Dogman he watched that walked up to the tree where he was sitting in his deer stand was. The Dogman stood directly below his stand, but never attempted to reach up and grab him, even though it could have easily done that. Well, unfortunately, a few days ago, Mike had another encounter. This time, it was with a different Dogman, and that’s what he’s come back to talk about. If you think there’s a novelty in having a Dogman encounter, you really should pay attention to how Mike’s encounters have affected him. There’s nothing fun about having a Dogman encounter.

On Episode 411, tonight’s guest, David Bunt, told us about some of the Dogman-related experiences he’s had on his farm, in Cheshire, England. The experiences he had there, with the female Dogman that kept coming around, shook him up so much, he went to stay at his dad’s house, for 24 hours. If you knew where a pack of Dogmen or “Werewolves,” as tonight’s guest calls them, were living, would go to that area and seek out encounters with them? Most people wouldn’t, but tonight’s guest, who goes by the name "Werewolf Mike," does exactly that. Actually, he does that on a regular basis. Mike says that he knows where several packs live. That being said, the pack he says he’s put the most time into investigating lives in a forest called Nuney Woods, in England. The most intense experience Mike says he’s had was when he approached to within 4 feet of a Dogman cub, in its den, while its mom and dad looked on. Tonight’s guest, Shetan Noir, has cryptozoological credentials like you wouldn’t believe. To scratch the surface; not only has she had a Dogman encounter, she’s had a Sasquatch sighting too. She’s the lead investigator for the Michigan chapter of the NADP, owns Squatch GQ Publications, which has 5 magazine titles to its name. She’s also written 3, cryptid-related books and has given multiple presentations, on cryptids, at paranormal conferences. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, she teaches two paranormal-themed college courses too. She’s been investigating cryptozoology and the paranormal for over 25 years. There are no experts in cryptozoology, but Shetan is about as close to being one as you can get.

Tonight’s guest, Jason Corona, watched The Howling when he was 4 years old and as a result, for 5 years, he refused to sleep alone, in his bedroom. Surprisingly, years later, his fear of Werewolves turned into fascination. He’d head up, into the hills around his home and look for them. Little did he know, one day, years down the road, something that looked like a Werewolf would come find him. The morning it happened, he’d pulled into the parking area of a recreational area, by a river, near Clements, California. He pulled into that parking area because he needed to relieve himself. He thought he’d be alone there, so it would be a good place for him to do that, but he’d soon find out that he wasn’t alone!

On October 15th, of 2014, tonight’s guest decided to do some afternoon deer hunting, so he took his bow and headed for a tree stand, on the back side of his mother’s 5-acre property. After sitting in the stand for hours, he thought it was strange that he hadn’t seen any animals. Around 6 PM, he found out why he hadn’t seen any animals. After deciding he was going to head back to his mother’s house, he suddenly heard something walking toward him. As he listened to whatever it was walking toward him, he suddenly realized it was walking bipedally. When he realized it was walking bipedally, he figured it must have been his next-door neighbor coming to check on him. Soon, though, he saw that it was a dark figure. It definitely wasn’t his neighbor, but what could it be? He was about to find out, because it was heading toward him and wound up directly under his stand!

One of tonight’s guests, Shawn, has worked as an archaeologist for over 15 years, in densely forested areas. In that time, he’s worked in some pretty unusual places and has experienced his fair share of unusual things. One of the most unusual places he’s been, though, is a place he and his daughter, Maya, call the Dogman Forest. You see the sightings and experiences Shawn and Maya are going to talk about, on tonight’s show, didn’t happen while Shawn was doing archaeological work. They happened over the course of two weeks, while they were helping a friend with farm work, in West Virginia, on her farm. Tonight’s guest, Allan, has lived in Livingston County, Michigan all of his life. He lives in a beautiful area, that has a lot to offer someone, like Allan, who’s addicted to spending as much time, as possible, in the woods. That area has a dark secret, though. You see, 1 day, when he was 14, he was hunting on his grandfather’s 70-acre property when he had his 1st Dogman encounter. Luckily, he was able to shake that encounter off, before long, and before long he was back to spending time in the woods. About a month ago, however, he had an encounter with a massive Dogman that wasn’t so easy shake off. He had that encounter while he was up in a tree stand, hunting coyotes. The floor of the stand was 10 feet off the forest floor. The day this encounter happened, nothing out of the ordinary had happened. It wasn’t any different than the countless times he’d sat in that stand, while hunting. That is, nothing out of the ordinary happened, that day, until he felt and heard something sniffing his lower leg. When he turned his head and looked down to see what it was, he saw that it was a gigantic Dogman!

Before tonight’s guest, John Kershaw, had his 1st Dogman encounter, he thought the idea that they could be out there was a complete joke. Well, 1 day, when he was fishing from his kayak, in a river system, in Western Sydney, Australia, he had an experience that changed his paradigm on their existence. 3 days after that, he had another encounter. That time, after hearing something that he could tell was ambulating bipedally; something that he could tell was heavy as a horse, he saw the source of those heavy footsteps. It was a 10-foot-tall Dogman. Luckily, John was able to pull his phone out and snap a few pictures of it. I’m going to display those pictures on the YouTube version of tonight’s show, at the 32:14 time stamp.

Tonight’s guest, Jeremy Wilson, is a police officer and when he was 12, he went with his brother to stay with his grandparents, on their leather leaf fern farm, in Volusia County, Florida, near Pearson, Florida. It was spring break, of 1985. Like they’d normally do, Jeremy and his brother had gone out, after dinner, to spend more time outside before it was time for them to come in for the night. They were in the backyard area of the farm, standing on a dirt road back there, when all of a sudden, they heard a pack of hunting dogs coming their way. The dogs were being very vocal, and it was clear that they were on the trail of something. Not long after the boys heard the dogs, they heard the voices of a group of men that were following the dogs. It was around 8 PM, so dusk had already set in. When the boys had 1st heard the dogs, they were far off in the distance, but they kept getting louder and louder, as they approached, tracking whatever it was they were on the trail of. Before long, the boys saw a dark shape come into view, running through the ferns. To their surprise and shock, the dark figure ran onto the dirt road they were standing on and stopped. The boys had been expecting one of the animals that were known to inhabit the area to appear. None of the animals they were expecting to see run on their back legs, though. This creature WAS running on its back legs, when it appeared. None of the animals that were commonly found in the area, around the farm looked like a Werewolf. This creature did! After stopping on the dirt road, creature looked back, in the direction of the approaching hounds, and then guess where it focused its attention. Yep. That’s right!

In 2019, tonight’s guest, Jason, had a few days off work, so he decided to drive to Eastern Kentucky and look for a nice place to stay, for 3 to 4 days, to unwind. He wanted to be close to nature, so he decided to stay at a remote lodge, in the Appalachian Mountains. Jason had heard about sightings of strange creatures in the Appalachian Mountains and was hoping to join in on the action. Unfortunately, the adage, “be careful what you wish for” has a lot of truth to it, as Jason was going to find out. If you saw a Dogman that looked like a giant hyena observing you, from a distance, would you try to go make contact with it? Well, tonight’s guest did that very thing, and, to this day, he wishes he wouldn’t have done that.

Tonight’s guest, William Harris, grew up in a very remote part of the Smoky Mountains, in North Carolina, next to the Tennessee border. In fact, the area where he grew up was so remote, it was cut out of the wilderness just 60 to 70 years before his family moved there. William grew up fishing, hunting, and exploring the mountains around his family’s farm. Consequently, he had a very good childhood. While it’s true that he had an idyllic childhood and grew up in a beautiful area, there was still dark side to living where he did. You see, from a very young age, he was warned not to be outside after dark, because the Wooly Booger would get him. Of course, that sounds like something kids are told to scare them into being good and doing what they’re told. Sometimes, though, there’s truth behind warnings, like that. Unfortunately, William found out, the hard way, that there definitely was truth to that warning, on more than 1 occasion too! In fact, when William had 1 of the encounters he’s going to talk about, on tonight’s show, his uncle was with him. The encounter shook his uncle up, so much, to this day, he won’t go into the woods unless he can see his truck, at all times.

In early September, of 2005, tonight’s guest, Jill, was driving home from work, around 11 PM, when the unthinkable happened. It was a beautiful night, and the stars were out, in Michigan, where she lived. Jill had her window down and was driving slowly, enjoying the ride home. When she was approaching the road she lived on, she noticed that someone had left a lot of trash, out by the road, for refuse collection, the next morning. Next to where all of their trash was piled up, was a yard light. That yard light was lighting up the trash fairly well. As she drew closer, she noticed a large bear digging through the trash, looking for food. She wasn’t in a hurry, so she decided to roll to a stop, next to the bear and observe it. Friends and family used to excitedly report seeing animals to her that were native to Michigan that they didn’t see often, so Jill thought this would be her chance to let them know she’d seen a bear. When she stopped her car, the “bear” was merely 5 feet from her, as she watched it through her car’s open window. When she did that, the bear stopped rummaging through the trash and slowly raised its head, to look at her. When it did that, Jill realized the huge mistake she’d made. What she was looking at was no bear. The only appellation she could think of to properly describe what she was looking at was “Werewolf!”

Tonight's guest, wished to remain anonymous. Therefore, she went by the name “Sundown,” in the interview.

“Sundown” was driving home, 1 night, near Mountain Home, Arkansas, when the unthinkable happened. Her kids were in the backseat, and she was driving down a country road, when all of a sudden, she saw a huge, black, canid, laying on the road, up ahead, in her lane. What surprised her most about the black canid was the fact it was 3 times bigger than any Saint Bernard she’d ever been around or seen. She came upon the creature so quickly; she didn’t have time to swerve or hit the brakes. All she could do was grip the steering wheel tighter and hope for the best. The next thing she knew, her car was airborne. Even though all, 4 wheels came off the ground, due to her driving over the huge, black figure, miraculously, she landed in her lane and never lost control of her car. Thinking that any problems that might have arisen from the situation were over, she breathed a deep sigh of relief. Little did she know, her Dogman problems were just starting! It's 1 thing to have a Dogman encounter when you're out and about, but when you run 1 over, with your car, and it follows you home, that's a different matter, altogether!

Maine has 17 million acres of forest, 3,500miles of coastline, 6,000 lakes and ponds, as well as 5,000 rivers and streams that are filled with salmon, trout, bass, pickerel, and perch. The terminus for the Appalachian Trail and 92 miles of the Allagash Wilderness are also in Maine. In fact, Maine has the highest percentage of its land covered by forests, compared to any other state in the union. 90% of the state is covered by forests. Those resources make for a very welcoming habitat for Dogmen, unfortunately, as tonight’s guest, Mary, found out 46 years ago. You see, Mary lives in the beautiful mountains of Western Maine and 1 evening, just after dusk, in 1976, she was driving home, after dropping her husband off at work. She was driving down Route 2 West, through deep forest, and no other cars were in sight. It was nice out that evening, so she had her window down. She was driving slowly, enjoying the drive, when all of a sudden, she felt an uncomfortable chill to the air. Mary believes that what she did next saved her life. For years, Mary thought what tried to attack her that night was a gigantic, rabid German Shepherd. 18 years later, she finally found out that it was anything but.

Tonight’s guest, Maury Golden, comes from a family of truck drivers. His cousins drive truck, for a living, his father drove, and his uncle did too. Even his grandfather and great grandfather drove over the road trucks, for a living. Between all of his family members who make a living behind the wheel of a truck or made their living behind the wheel of 1, there are a lot of amazing experiences to share. None of them compares to the experience Maury had, late 1 night, at a lonely truck stop, in Alabama, though. Maury found himself standing face to face with a 600-pound Dogman and as if that wasn’t bad enough, the Dogman did something that made the experience even more disturbing. It did something Maury didn’t know it could do. What it did next just made Maury’s encounter that much worse. Maury’s encounter only lasted about 10 seconds, but he’ll be the 1st to tell you, it seemed to him like it lasted for 10 minutes. He was only about 15 steps from his truck when it happened, but he felt so exposed, he might as well have been miles from it.

We hope you’ll tune in and listen to Maury chronicle what happened to him, that night. If you do, you’ll understand why his world fell apart, after having that encounter. Luckily, Maury is a new man now. He’s found religion and has a whole new outlook on life!
