  • 9 - Sir Stevo Timothy X The Crème de la Crème of Irish Actors

On episode 8 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen speak to sketch comedian extraordinaire, come documentary maker Sir Stevo Timothy about his love for the classic adult cartoon series South Park.

Anyone who knows Stevo, or has seen his hugely successful Farmer Michael impersonations won't be in any way surprised why he is so inspired by the risque cult show, which first appeared on our screens in 1997. He spoke to the girls in depth, about how the show was such a big influence on his own work, as well as the precarious situations it has got him in along the way.

As we are well and truly in the middle of awards season, we heard the listeners opinions on their favourite Irish actors including the likes of Brendan Gleeson, Paul Mezcal and Saoirse Ronan “from Carlow”

Finally the pair look at Virgin Media’s newest reality TV show Eating With The Enemy which launched on Wednesday night to a mixed bag of reviews.

  • 8 - Jason Byrne’s TV Time Machine

On episode 7 of Tellybox, we may have found our biggest TV swat so far, as Jason Byrne popped in to give us a complete education of TV from the 80’s till now! Jason's knowledge is startling, but each nostalgic deep dive provides us all with a new perspective on how good people had it on their brick TV set and clunky DVD player. This week's Tellytalks looks at your all-time favourite TV hosts, garnering a huge response from our listeners, with one cork local coming at the top of Jen and Emma's list’s.

Finally, the girls take a look at ITV’s White House Farm true-crime series from 2020, which was recently released on Netflix giving audiences a second chance to get in on the drama.

  • 7 - Shane Daniel Byrne X Framing Britney Spears

On episode 6 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen speak to the magnificent Shane Daniel Byrne about his favourite surprising TV show SAS Who Dares Wins. Shane has been entertaining us all throughout the pandemic, and he believes his experiences as a scout leader growing up, and the gruelling years of knot tying and mountain hiking would make him the ideal candidate for future seasons of the show. Shane accounts himself as a reality TV purist, loves anything that is true to life in how the contestants are portrayed, which is why he believes SAS Who Dares Wins is a modern work of art.

On this week's Tellytalks  the girls look at some of the TV shows that you really wish were given a reboot, with listeners suggesting everything from Glenroe to Supermarket Sweep in the mix.

Finally Jen and Emma deep dive into the incredible and tragic Framing Britney Spears documentary which got its UK and Ireland release last Tuesday, a few weeks after it initially hit the screens in the US.
