Adding accessories to outfits can really boost your style by creating a unique, personalized look. But what are accessories, and how do you choose them? Wes and Liam finally broach a topic they’ve been wanting to discuss since the very origins of the podcast: how accessories fit into your fits.

The Dandies are back, and are returning to the original premise of the podcast to discuss topics relevant to the modern man.

The 90’s are cool, and not “again”. They always were. Without the weird pretensions of the 70’s or the comically over the top materialism of the 80’s, the 90’s brought the world a global perspective of street style, music, and culture. From heroin chic and Nirvana grunge to Afro-pop; reggae, K-pop, and French hip-hop to Euro-trash house and EDM, the 90’s opened up a anything-goes culture of acceptance and experimentation. From the mid-90’s, the first dot-com boom shepherded in both a relaxation of the norms for how professional men dress in a more “relaxed” office to a renewed appreciation of the value of the quality and details for traditional styling. Far from dying out, classic suiting received a reboot, paired with elements of the new, relaxed, fitted forms of the era.

Going on dates might seem a wistful ambition from the past, but the Dandies feel it's even more relevant now. Wes, Mudcat, Josh and Liam provide their thoughts on why dating is an important Dandy skill, how to be a good date, and why dates are not just for dating.

Having a sense of humor is an essential element of being a dandy. One of the most famous dandies, Oscar Wilde, was famed for both his scripted humor and  quick cutting wit. We're not even going to aspire to that ... but we do have jokes for days.

A death in the family, whether of a parent, sibling, grandparent, or close personal friend is one of the most traumatic experiences someone can face. With the recent death of Liam's mother, the Dandies discuss how they deal with the passing of a close family member or friend.

Part 2 in our conversation with Rebecca Tweed; Wes, Mudcat, Liam and Rebecca continue to discuss how politics and society today are impacted by the ability (or lack thereof) to listen to each other and hold back preconceived notions and judgement based solely on party lines.

Part of that is respecting and being open to discuss the viewpoints of others, even if they don't necessarily match your own.
