- 88 - 21. The Death of David Dixon
In 1966, 3 year old David Dixon went missing from the Sylmar neighborhood in Los Angeles, CA. The entire community searched for him for several days but found no clues or witnesses. After the search died down this case would end when the young toddler was found in a unsuspected place.

Idema Cerney was found murdered in the Mojave Desert in 1932. After identifying her using Bertillion measurements it would be a short time before investigators honed in on a suspect, her husband, Gus Cerney, a gin runner during prohibition. To bring justice in this case they tracked Cerney across the United States in a manhunt that finally ended in Chicago, Illinois.

On Nov 3rd, 1981, Marcy Conrad, a 14-year-old 9th Grader at Russell Junior High School in Milpitas Ca, decided to ditch her afternoon classes and go hang out with her friend, Anthony Jacques Broussard, a 16-year-old who went to Milpitas High School. From this decision, Marcy will lose her life and not be found for 2 more days. This story, because of what happened in between Marcy’s Death and until she is found, became a national discussion that inspired a Hollywood movie and took extreme paths which seemed to lose sight that a 14-year-old girl, who had a future ahead of her, lost it all. In May of 2002, a pregnant Evelyn and her 5 year old son Alex Hernandez went missing from the Amazon-Crocker neighborhood of San Francisco. Initially not considered a serious case everything changed when a month later her wallet was turned in to police after being found in a ditch in South San Francisco. In July of 2002, part of Evelyn’s body was found near the Bay Bridge and police opened a homicide case. Though Alex has never been found, he and his unborn brother are considered both deceased by SFPD. We talk about the details of the murder, the lack of media attention and attempt to spread the word in this 18 year old cold case.

Also an audio tape of a private speech by Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány is leaked to the public in which he confessed that his Hungarian Socialist Party had lied to win the 2006 election sparking widespread protests across the country.
But in the evening on this date, in a small unincorporated community of riverside county, three people lost their lives to what looked at first to be a fire of accidental nature.
