Mon, 02 Nov 2020 - 42min - 5 - Charisma
How badly did you miss us?! Well, we're back with an all new episode full of crime, conspiracy, and culty badness.
This week, Christine & John take a deep dive into the brutal and disturbing Roch Theriault and his Ant Hill Kids cult. Located in Burnt River, Ontario, Canada, the Ant Hill Kids cult participated in some unimaginable rituals that included everything from self mutilation to ejaculating into the heads of deceased members. Truly shocking stuff is discussed here so if you're triggered by that sort of thing, you may want to skip ahead to to the conspiracy section. Speaking of that, John skips the conspiracy theories this week and gets into an FBI cover-up for the ages instead. James "Whitey" Bulger was a household name around South Boston since the late 60s, but we missed all of that until we moved here. Learn about the FBI's help with covering up 11 murders and other serious crimes for their special informant, Bulger.

- 3 - The Devil in Disguise
Sometimes pure evil is hiding in plain sight...
In this episode, Christine & John take a deep dive into the murder of Cara Knott on December 27, 1986. What was thought to be a routine traffic stop quickly turned into something much more sinister and ultimately resulted in a violent murder at the hands of a California Highway Patrol officer. Sometimes people we are supposed to trust can't be trusted at all.
Following that, John takes a look at the QAnon conspiracy theory group polluting social media and the minds of people around the world. Don't believe everything you read on the internet because things aren't always as they seem. While this group may seem legitimate at times, experts are beginning to consider them an extremist group whose ultimate goal is to cause harm and spread misinformation.
Thank you for your support for this show and bringing attention to these incidents and theories. We appreciate YOU! For more information on these topics, be sure to give us a follow on Facebook and Instagram! Keeps your heads up and look after each other.

Wed, 14 Oct 2020 - 02min - 1 - Shocked
Hey! It's our very first episode! We don't beat around the bush on this show so let's get right to it!
This week, Christine breaks down the murder of Andra & Brad Sachs who were killed in their San Juan Capistrano, CA home by their son, Ashton in 2014. Things like this never happen in South Orange County so we were shocked when we learned (six years later) that this happened virtually in our own backyard. Following that, John gets into the first big conspiracy theory of the social media era, the "9/11 was an inside job" group. Probably the biggest 9/11 nerd/historian around, John is left wondering how he missed the depth of this conspiracy theory years ago when it started.
We hope you enjoy our first episode and we can't wait for you to listen along with us as we grow this podcast! Thank you for your support and don't forget to keep your heads up and look after each other!
