On the 2nd March, Rohto Pharmaceutical Co. released its 2025 "White Paper on Fertility Awareness," a survey examining attitudes and the current reality surrounding pregnancy and childbirth. Among 400 unmarried men and women aged 18 to 29, the percentage of those who responded that they "do not want children" reached 62.6%, exceeding 60% for the first time. By gender, the percentage of women surpassed that of men for the first time, hitting a record high of 64.7%.
The survey was conducted online in December 2025. In the 2020 survey—when this question was first introduced—the percentage of respondents who did not want children stood at 44.0%, marking an increase of over 18 percentage points in five years.
Regarding the prospect of having and raising children, women expressed significantly higher levels of concern than men, particularly regarding "financial burden" and "negative impact on career."
ロート製薬は3月2日、妊娠・出産を取り巻く意識や実態を調査した2025年版の「妊活白書」を公表した。18～29歳の未婚男女400人のうち「子どもが欲しくない」と回答した割合が62.6％に上り、今回初めて6割を超えた。男女別では初めて女性の割合が男性を上回り、過去最高の64.7％となった。
調査は25年12月にインターネット上で実施。子どもが欲しくないと回答した男女の割合は、この質問を始めた20年の調査では44.0％で、18ポイント超上昇した。
子どもを産み育てることについて、男性よりも女性が特に不安視しているのは「経済的な負担」や「仕事のキャリアへの支障」だった。

Based on the Four Pillars of Destiny, it categorizes people into 12 different types using a combination of three symbols (○, □, ☆) and four colors (pink, red, green, and light blue).
Okinawa has a long tradition of ancestor worship, spirit mediums known as Yuta, and sacred places like Utaki.

氣質学とは、人が生まれ持った「氣質（＝先天的な気質・本能的な傾向）」を分類・分析し、性格・適正・対人処世の傾向を知りコミュニケーションに役立てるためのツールといわれています。
氣質学は四柱推命をベースに、３タイプのシンボル（◯、□、☆）と４色のカラー（桃色・赤色・緑色・水色）を組み合わせでできる12種類のシンボルカラーと氣質数で表現します。

Social media has become a central part of everyday life, and very few people with smartphones completely avoid it. Companies, politicians, and media outlets now rely on platforms like Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok to promote and distribute information, highlighting their significant social influence.
In recent years, generative AI has further fueled activity on these platforms. AI-generated content is widely posted and attracts large numbers of impressions. In September 2025, both OpenAI and Meta announced new platforms dedicated to creating and sharing AI-generated video.
However, new data suggests that social media may have already passed its peak. According to a Financial Times analysis of GWI data from more than 250,000 people across over 50 countries, global social media usage time peaked in 2022 and has been steadily declining since then.
この数年は生成AIという新たなツールが普及したが、それもソーシャルメディアをさらに活況にしているように見える。既存のプラットフォームに生成AIで作られたコンテンツが投稿され、多くのインプレッションを得ているだけではない。2025年9月には、OpenAIとMetaが相次いで「生成AI動画の作成と投稿」に特化した場を作ると発表した。

Most of Japanese people clearly identify themselves as “Japanese,” Okinawa stands out as a region where many—indeed, a majority—hold an alternative national identity, specifically that of being “Okinawan (Uchinaanchu).” The authors point out that, based on its historical background and geographic distinctiveness, Okinawa is virtually the only region within Japan where people assert a national identity distinct from “Japanese.”

海の女であり、夜の女でもあり、アメジョでもあるAikaさん。Aikaさんがアメジョになったきっかけと、そもそもアメジョって何？ってことから戦後から現代までの言葉の印象や実際どうなのってところをお話しました。
Amejo アメジョ(アメ女)：
“Amejo” is a Japanese derogatory term referring to young Okinawan women who date male members of the United States Forces stationed in Okinawa Prefecture. The latter part of the word means “woman” or “girl.” — Wikipedia
Although the term is often described with negative connotations, many women today use it in a more positive, self-affirming way.
It’s said that “Amejo” doesn’t just come from America + jo (woman), but can also refer to the Okinawan dialect expression America-joogu — meaning “someone who likes Americans.”
「アメジョ」とは、日本の沖縄県に駐留する在日米軍の男性と交際する沖縄の若い女性を指す日本語の蔑称です。この言葉のもう一方の構成要素は「女性」または「女の子」という意味を持っています。— Wikipedia より —
この言葉はしばしば否定的な意味合いで語られますが、現代ではむしろ自分らしさを肯定するポジティブな意味で使う女性も多くいます。
「アメリカ＋女=アメジョ」だけでなく、沖縄の方言で言う「アメリカ〜じょーぐー(アメリカ人好き)」を意味していると聞くこともあります。

Haitai amazing people, 6.23慰霊の日ということで、御年88歳のゲストやすこおばーちゃんのお話を聞かせて頂きました。 沖縄戦を体験した当時は8歳だったとのことで、本人が覚えてる限りの記憶を辿り、与那原から金武町に避難した事、終戦後に米軍基地（12年）や自衛隊（24年）で働いたこと、自身の記憶では日本兵もアメリカ兵もみんな親切にしてくださったことなど。 沖縄戦の話となると「人が人ではなくなる」悲惨な情景を体験した方もいるけれど、まだ幼かったということもあり戦争中の話が中心ではなく、終戦後の生活に対してイメージが深まる話がたくさんありました。 Special guest for Okinawa Memorial Day 2024. We got a chance to listen precious narrative from Yasuko (88 years old). She was only 8 when the battle of Okinawa started, she was about to start going to school. After the battle began, she and her family evacuated from Yonabaru to Kin on foot, about 50km. After the battle she went for school for several years but she decided to get a job and had worked for US military(12 years) and Japanese self defense force(24 years). According to a survey by the barometric pressure health management app "Zutsu-ru," it has been found that people are more likely to experience ill health during "temperature fluctuations," especially when there is a "significant temperature difference from the previous day." Among these, days when the temperature drops significantly compared to the previous day are most likely to lead to ill health.

1月18日に放送された「櫻井・有吉THE夜会」（TBS系）で、女優、二階堂ふみに「方言禁止」というルールで記者会見をさせるという趣向のコーナーを放送したところ、「沖縄差別」につながるという批判が一部で起きることとなった。 -デイリー新潮-
放送前から物議を醸していた企画だけに、視聴者も多かったのではないでしょうか。
世代別、出身別、歴史に対する知見の差で、この話題に対して世間の見方は「差別的」vs「気にしすぎ」に偏るのかな、と。
（人によるけど）おそらく前情報無しであれば、単純に楽しめるコンテンツだったかもしれない。
けど、指摘されてジワジワと自分の見解が見えてくることもある。
「気にしすぎ」という意見ももちろん自由。
でも過去には実際に方言を話すことで処罰されたり、辱めを受けた経験を持つ人たちもいる。何でその歴史が刻まれたか忘れてはいけないし、不感症になってはいけない。

When J-CAST News inquired with TBS's PR & IR department on January 22 about the production background, intentions behind the content, reception of the criticism, future responses, and measures to prevent recurrence, they replied:
"The program content was intended to test whether actors, who can perfectly perform any role, might still be inadvertently drawn to their native dialects. It was based on similar content with another actor that was well-received in the past, and we did not sufficiently consider the historical context of Okinawa. We take the feedback that this was discriminatory very seriously and will utilize it in future program production."
However, it's delicate to gauge how much sympathy these criticisms have garnered.
Judging by the comments on internet news articles covering this "flame war," the majority seems to be "It's not a problem" or "It's being overthought."

東南アジアの方が似た顔は多い印象ですが、ウチナーンチュの濃い顔は縄文人の名残であり、祖先は日本人であるということ。
それでいて中国の影響を受けている沖縄独自の色とりどりの建築物やデザインは、琉球国時代の名残であるということ。
しかし現代では、食文化をみるとアメリカの影響は多大に受けているだろう。
つまり沖縄人は全てのMixedといえるのか。

それくらい大事にされてきた、今となれば家より巨大なうちなーぬお墓。仏壇継承の負担は大きく、永代供養を選ぶ家族も増えてきているかと思います。
どんな形であれ祖先を崇拝する心は失いたくないもの。とはいえ墓問題以外にも地価の高騰や相続税やら、ついて回る問題はまたまたお金なのではないでしょうか。
発展を望みつつも、古き良きも守りたい。
そんなうまいことは今の世の中では無理なのでしょうか。

Here's the fact that Japan has the highest number of food additives in the world which is about 1,500 types. (The second is U.S./about 140 types) But how many people can actually keep going to shop at organic supermarkets to have a healthy life? Seems it is almost impossible to avoid them for everyday diet, yet only eating organic leads you to be physically and mentally healthy in the end. 台風により警戒を促すニュースが流れ、イベントごとが中止になったり、学校が休校になったりします。こうした非日常的なシチュエーションにみなが緊張することで、人間の集合は興奮状態に陥りやすくなります。
こうした状況下では「日常の規範意識が崩れ、人間は批判能力が下がります。」それゆえに「不謹慎だけどワクワクする」という心理状態になると考えることができる。
とのこと。
台風のワクワクって「楽しい〜！Yay！」っていう感情というより、一人の人間として、自分のちっぽけさを感じさせられる程の圧倒的な自然の脅威を目撃した興奮だったり、自然への畏敬の念からくるOverwhelmedな感情なのかもしれません。

学生時代の自分を振り返ると、将来やりたいこととか選択肢が広がってる、モラトリアム期に人生に悩む。
そんなの当たり前だと思ってたし、きっと周りの同級生も同じ心境。
でも今になると、それは当たり前じゃなくて特権だったんだと思う。
自分には何ができるだろう。

Facts in Okinawa (as of 2021) According to research done by the Okinawa Prefectural Government, the rate of single-parent mothers in Okinawa is double the national average and is said to be the worst nationwide. Birth rates among the younger population of Okinawa have also been high, with teen pregnancy and underage birthrate at an astonishing 2.6 times higher than the national average. The unemployment rate in that prefecture is also the lowest nationwide. Consultations regarding domestic violence in Okinawa have also recently been at a record high, with an average double of the rest of the country. This film is based on several true stories we heard during our research in Okinawa, but the script and the characters who appear are fictional. -IMDb-

全ての人が公共の場で、安心して気持ちよく使えるトイレとは。。
日本でも最近話題にあがるようになったジェンダーレストイレ（もしくはオールジェンダートイレ・ユニセックストイレ等々）。すべての性別が使える公共トイレのことを指すようだけど、明確な定義があるというか多分みんなの理解もバラバラでよくわからない存在になってしまってるのが”今”なのかも。
子連れの親とか高齢者とか障害がある方とか、いろいろメリットあるよね！みたく広義的に受け入れてもいいのでは的な表現されてるのも見たけど、「ジェンダー」と命名してしまっている以上、ここで考えなくてはいけないのはやっぱり性別の話なんだと思う。
個人的にはこれまでどっちの性別のトイレに入るべきかなんて悩んだこともないいわゆるシスジェンダー（生まれ持った体＆心の性が一致してる）にあたるので、要望としては女性トイレは混みやすいから男女共用が多い方がいいな！くらいしか思ったことはないんだけど、単なる男女別だと困ってきた人たちもいるのだろうか。
あらゆる性自認を差別なく受け入れられる社会は素敵だと思いつつも、それ以前に性犯罪の危険性とか用を足す時の心理的安全だとか考慮しなくてはならない課題は他にもあるので、どのスタイルが適当かはわかりません。
There was a controversial style of Gender Neutral Bathroom in Kabukicho, Tokyo. The problem people talked about was how designed user flow, but then a question came up which was do we really need them named 'Gender-Less toilet'? Yes, it is wonderful if there is one that any gender can use mentally and physically safely but how about who has experienced sexual assault before, or kids and young moms? Isn't it just ok go with individual bathrooms.. we lost.

具体的な約束をしなくて済むし、自分の気が向くままに行動できる魔法のコトバ（in Okinawa）。
友人でも、同僚でも、信頼関係を深める要素のひとつに“時間を守る”ことはきっと入ってくるかと思います。でも時間を守ることがおっくうなら遅刻してしまってはいかが？
遅刻する人の大半は楽観的で、非現実的である傾向にあります。と説明するのは、『Never Be Late Again』の著者、ダイアナ・デロンザー。私たちではありません。
もちろん全沖縄人が平気で遅刻をするわけではありませんし、バイトや打ち合わせ時間に遅れるのは信頼に関わるので大体の人たちはちゃんと守っているはず（？）

なんてきっちりした約束をした日にはプレッシャーで結果ストレスになってしまうので、お仕事以外の予定はなんとなーく「今から家でるよ（実はまだ準備中）」と、あえてSpecificな時間の名言を避けることで心の平穏を保ちます。

子ども食堂とは、子どもが一人でも行くことのできる無料または低額の食堂です。東京都大田区の八百屋の店主・近藤博子さんが、店の一角で2012年に始めた「だんだんワンコインこども食堂」が発祥だとされています。-The Asahi Shinbun-
お家で十分にご飯を食べられない子ども達、共働きOR片親で忙しい両親の子ども達が行くところ？もちろん大義名分はそれに近いものだと思うけど、実際その場に行ってみると大人を含めた参加してる全員が親族家族以外の繋がりを感じられる場所なのかと思います。
今の時代って近所付き合いもさほどなければ、身の安全を考慮して他人と簡単に繋がりたくないような雰囲気もあったり？
はたまたSNSで仲良くなったあの人とは現実世界でどんな生活を送ってるか知りもしないのに平気で会えちゃったり？
繋がるスタイルは人それぞれではあるけれど、「遠くの親戚より近くの他人」みたいなノリで近くにいる子どもたちをケアできる空気作りを大人がしていかんとね〜。
誰の子であっても子どもは社会で育てるamazing creature!!
Kodomo Shokudo. Meaning Kid's Cafeteria in Japan is spreading and Okinawa and has the highest number of them in the country. It originally started for helping kids who do not have enough access to food besides school providing. But it now seems not only for those kids, it is for all kids and adults who want to enjoy their community.

多くの家庭に祖先崇拝が根付いている沖縄では、病気だけでなく仏壇の継承などいろいろなことを相談してる家庭も多いと思います。
本土で言う寺の僧侶？とも似ていますがそれ以外にも生活に関わること全て相談されてる方もいるみたい！※ユタは沖縄県と鹿児島県奄美群島の民間霊媒師（シャーマン）であり、霊的問題のアドバイス、解決を生業とする。
If you ever lived in Okinawa, you might see some people go to see Yuta (local shaman) instead of going to the doctor. This of course depends on the family, although for my family (Minami), it is not too rare to see/hear them annually or when something happens to our family member, even moving somewhere. I even experienced my migraine being cured by their purification. Yet, I also believe in science.
There is one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies called "Contact", which shows the contrast between the main 2 character's beliefs in Religion and Science. In the end, both of their ultimate purposes were to find the truth of the universe. Doesn't it sound the same?<References>

最近、初めて自分でペットを飼い始めましてこの話が膨らみました。
犬や猫を人間のように扱うことにいつも疑問があったんですが、世界を見渡せば動物に育てられた人間もいるんですね。
そこには育てた種の動物と化している人間がいて、つまり人間に飼われている動物たちは人間化する？結局は誰に育てられるかによる？動物園にいる動物や水族館にいる魚たちは可哀想なのか、はたまた命の危険に晒されず食事も与えられるから安心してるのか。
わかりません。
動物が大量生産・家畜化している劣悪な飼育環境を見て肉食を断つ、毛皮を反対する。
これらの議論って賛否両論いろんな意見がありますが１つの最適解がないから色々やってみて気づきを増やすことが大切なんだとも思うけど、食事が満足に摂れない貧困層のご飯はやっすい肉に救われていたりして。
どの種を守る議論になっても、最終的には目的が果たされることでその人間たちの正義感を満たすことが深層心理なのか。

子育てもSNSでシェアする時代だからこそ、他人のやり方がダイレクトに見えて自分が正解なのかどうかモヤモヤすることも。。？記事では特にママがフィーチャーされがちですが、それは子供の健康を1番に心配してしまう当たり前の母性なのかと。
あとコロナ禍じゃなくても沖縄には自然派ママは昔からたくさんいるような気もします。持論ですが自然派にたどり着くことってプロセスがあって、
・西洋医学で簡単に治らない疾患にかかる／何かしら生活習慣で体に不調を感じる
↓
・情報を集めだして代替医療や東洋医学にたどり着く
↓
添加物モリモリの市場に出回った食べ物や衣服に不信感を抱いてしまう
↓
陰謀論や医療不振／政治不振にたどり着き昔ながらの自然に寄り添った生き方を好むどうでしょう？笑
私（Minami）自身、5歳の頃からアトピーに悩まされたため上記のサイクルは一通り経験したからこそ思うのですが、結局やってみないと何もわからないし、人間は社交性も必要なのでバランス感覚を身につけることが大事なのかと感じています。
SNSで触れる情報は持ち主の好みに寄せた情報しか出てこないので、ちゃんと対極の情報を取り込んでできるだけ冷静に健康管理できるとのかな〜。I am not sure how to describe those types of people, though let me say "extreme naturalist"? Especially since the pandemic started, we are surrounded by so much information from different angles on how to approach one's health and it became controversial. It is always to good to explore new ways, yet we need to know nothing is 100% sure method for every one of us.

そもそも結婚制度って何のためにあるんだっけ？
なんでいつも女性の社会進出が理由にあがってきてそれに女性がモヤモヤさせられるわけ？
江戸〜大正時代の庶民たちの結婚は、夫婦別姓であり、ほとんどの夫婦が共働き（銘々稼ぎという）でした。何より、夫婦別財であり、要するに、明治民法が制定されるまでの日本人庶民の結婚とは、限りなくお互いが精神的にも経済的にも自立したうえでのパートナー的な経済共同体という形に近かったそうです。
それが明治民法により、庶民の結婚も「家制度」「家父長制度」が取り込まれることになり、主に妻の経済的自立と自由が奪われることになります。夫は外で仕事、妻は家事と育児という夫婦役割分担制が始まり今のような「あるべき夫婦の規範」として確立したそう！でた、明治維新。
今はそれに加え恋愛結婚が当たり前になったから、愛と結婚制度がごっちゃになってわけがわからなくなっている？

24歳にモデルとして上京。東京生活で感じたウチナーンチュ・アイデンティティに対する葛藤、その後に経験したインドでのヨガ修行など。
2020年には自ら代表を務める『プロジェクトチムガナサ』を発足して、写真展や映画を手がけているマルチクリエーター。
故郷や愛する人を想う時に感じる胸がしめつけられる感じとか、切ないけど愛情で満たされているような感情ってあるよね。
それをウチナーグチで表現するとチムガナサって言うらしい。沖縄ってたくさん問題かかえてるけど、それを変えるためのアクションを起こすのも大事。だけど今あるありのままの姿を形に残すことも同じくらい大切で、色々な経験を経て感じたOkinawa SpiritをKarinは体現してくれてるんだなーと感じました。
今はLAで演技学校に通ってるらしい、今後の活躍も楽しみにしてるやいびーん！

出身のブータンから高校卒業後にアメリカへ。その後東京大学へ入学、現在はIT企業に勤務する傍らソウル大学大学院にて卒業論文に取り組む一面も！
Part time jobを掛け持ちしながら大学に通いStruggleしたアメリカ時代、その後日本に来るきっかけにもなった恩師のMiyazawa氏との出会いなど。世界一幸福な国として知られるブータンでは、GDP（国内総生産）やGNP（国民総生産）ではなく、*GNH（Gross National Happiness：国民総幸福）を指標とした国政を掲げいます。
日本もそんな指標で国民の幸福度を測ってほしいものです。
そんなブータン出身のPemaが現在研究しているテーマは*Social Capitalという考え方。
人と人との繋がりを資源として捉えるSocial Capitalの考え方は、組織だけなく自分が暮らすコミュニティにも応用して考えられる大事な価値観だし、沖縄でいうイチャリバチョーデーやゆいまーる的な考え方を改めて大切にしていかなくてはいけないんだなと感じました。※どれだけの価値のあるモノやサービスが生産されたかを表すGDPとは違い、教育・医療などの福祉政策・文化・コミュニティー・心の平安といったような精神的・健康的な豊かさを、国民がどのくらい得られているかを数値で表すもの。
※ソーシャルキャピタルとは、信頼や規範、ネットワークなど、社会や地域コミュニティにおける人々の相互関係や結びつきを支える仕組みの重要性を説く考え方のことです。日本語では「社会的資本」「社会関係資本」と訳されます。物的資本 (Physical Capital) や人的資本 (Human Capital) などと並ぶ新しい概念として定義されています。アメリカの政治学者ロバート・パットナムは、『信頼・規範・ネットワークが重要な社会的仕組みの中では、人々が活発に協調行動をすることによって、社会の効率性を高めることができる』とし、それがソーシャルキャピタルの概念となりました。-厚生労働省-

それはいいとして。
投票率の低さは若者を主語に語られることが多く、確かに興味すら無い気持ちもあるのですが、どうやって我々みたいな世代ができあがったんでしょう。自分の一票に何の影響力も無いと思わせているのはこれまでの学校教育の影響だったり、日本の政治の問題でもあるのではないでしょうか。
とりあえずまとまった答えはありません。
政治観の有り無しに関わらず、世の中で起こっていることに対してオープンに話し合える国になってほしいものです。

2022年5月15日は沖縄が本土復帰（沖縄の施政権がアメリカ合衆国から日本国に返還されたこと）されてから50年目の節目の年となりました。
いろいろ記事を調べていると、「お祝いする気にはなれない」、「県民にとっては普通の1日」のような声が見出しを飾っていて、同じ県民であっても熱量が全然違っていたことがわかります。
でもこれって沖縄県民のみが思いを寄せるべき沖縄の日で、沖縄が好きだったり、関心がある層だけが注目するものなのでしょうか？
基地問題でいえば、県民は当事者であるがゆえにミクロの視点（暮らしで得する・損する部分）に考えが偏ってしまうものだったり。当事者であれば一旦、大局的な視点で日本国としての国防の課題、本当の意味での経済的な自立を考えるタイミングだと思います。
本土に住んでいる方であれば、自国がどれだけ他国の軍事力に依存しているのか、なぜそれがほとんど沖縄に集中しているのか、歴史を遡って改めて考えてほしい。
そんなこと考えてる暇ないよ！生きるのに精一杯！の人でも、ビジネスでいえば、経済を発展させるという名目で次々と生まれるショッピングセンター、観光地が本当に県民（自分）にとってプラスになっているのか。
ひと昔まえは雇用の確保ができれば◎、だったもの。もう令和ですし、県民がエグゼクティブ級のステータスにいるのが普通になる道筋がちゃんと見えるかどうか考えたい。外の文化を受け入れる心の優しさと、戦争の経験をヘイトにせず、力に変えていった親・おじー＆おばー世代から受けついた希望のエナジーをしっかり受け継いで、また10年後、20年後どんどんアップデートされるOKINAWAが見たい！たい！い！
そして近い将来、5月15日が盛大な「お祝い」の日となりますように。

The last 15th of May marked 50 years since Okinawa return to Japan from the US. And it was not an absolute "celebration" mood. Perspectives go back and forth when thinking about this from Okinawan and Japanese. So now it seems a Day of to think about economic/political issues, but isn't it supposed to be just a big party day? We are the generation who makes that happen.

某ウイルスの出現から直近の世界情勢まで、調べても調べても沼にはまってしまって考えがまとまらなかったり、目の前に飛び込んでくるニュースをそのまま受け止めて感情が揺さぶられたりすることもあるのではないでしょうか。
立場や年齢など属性に関わらず、自分のアクションが世界の何かに加担してしまう可能性を孕んでいたり、プロパガンダやこの”制脳権”たるやの存在を認知しているだけでも世界の見方が変わりそう？

無人島で1人で住んでる方以外は、どの瞬間も他者との関わりの中で生きているものだと思います。アドラー心理学によると、人間の悩みの全ては人間関係にあるとのこと。彼の言う対人関係論や、その他の考察記事をもとになぜ人間は分かり合えないのか話してみました。
「わかり合う」の定義も程度も人によって様々なのはもちろんですが、個人的にはそれが体現できてそうな人って、わかり合おうとしてるのではなく「受け入れてる」の方が意味が近い気がします。
そもそもみんな違う脳みそで、違う肉体で、Everything違う。
一方で、人間の脳には「共感する力」も備わっているそうなので、沢山のことを経験して、失敗して、恥かいて、思いやりを磨けば、受け入れスキルも磨かれるのではないでしょうか？

でも、もしあなたがシーミーや沖縄のお正月に愛着があったり、パーティーが好きだったり。単純に沖縄が好きだったり。
そんな生い立ちが叶ってきたのはこの”めんどくさい”トートーメー継承を親・先祖が繋いできた温かなレガシーでもあるのです。親世代に言いたいこと。
