The Poetry of Illusion - Haiku

now sometimes i feel i am a marvelous child all is possible

upon each footfall again heard felt forgotten no further, arrived

the anesthetist speaks each step to be taken surrender to peace

returning to bed i look at thoughts like sounds pass then time falls gently

beautiful people walking smiling energy my restoration

my cat knows me well stares into eyes and hugs arm what comfort for us

just now was thinking that all thought is imagined that one, this one, too

without a care now i forget to remember what has bothered me

an anesthetist administers nothing known now waking again

this close eyed world here all sounds and feeling present summer heat gentle

seeking inner road through winding passage of past discovered nothing

many words cast spells agitate charm the body then gone before seen

body quiet rest mind settles and loses self borders open too

all sound surrounds me spatial decay birth passing all is harmony

with a silent mind all is unfolding with grace effortless present

inner voice whispers sounds like spoken outer voice which i never hear

did someone speak now i do not know them one bit yet they speak to me

imagining past all seems open to render new old memory

mind in time somewhere here there before to come now body tingles thought

walking without goal world reveals infinite grace and offers its hand

silent sun warms me arms and face turned reverie what gentle pleasures

a known boundary between my words and your words cannot be found here

on waking from sleep world's barely formed potential now all wakes with me

reading yet feeling these are not words but spirits swirling passed waving

now time to plan time but where is its hiding place perhaps nowhere known

look to seek nothing everything here already knows of you so well
