Kathy Hochul said on live television that she wishes ICE would disband, then blamed Donald Trump for defunding the police.

At a press conference the New York governor claimed the federal government is withholding 40 percent of the state's counterterrorism money, $87 million, and translated it as Donald Trump defunding the police. Larry O'Connor walks through the vote: not one New York Democrat, not Chuck Schumer and not Hakeem Jeffries, voted to fund the Department of Homeland Security during the shutdown their own party ran at ICE and the Border Patrol.
