A roast is a form of humor in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to jokes at their expense, intended to amuse the event's wider audience. Such events are intended to honor a specific individual in a unique way. In addition to jokes and insult comedy, such events may also involve genuine praise and tributes. The implication is that the roastee is able to take the jokes in good humor and not as serious criticism or insult. The individual is surrounded by friends, fans, and well-wishers, who can receive some of the same treatment as well during the course of the evening. The party and presentation itself are both referred to as a "roast". The host of the event is called the "roastmaster". Anyone who is mocked in such a way is said to have been "roasted".

Spoof is a humorous imitation of something, typically a film or a particular genre of film, in which its characteristic features are exaggerated for comic effect.A spoof is a funny version of something, like a movie or a book. ... Movies like "Spaceballs," a spoof of the "Star Wars" films, and "Scary Movie," which spoofs the entire horror film genre, are great examples. Spoof originally meant "hoax," and it comes from a game, Spouf, invented by a British comedian in 1884. Sampoornesh Babu is an Indian film actor who works in Telugu cinema. He made his acting debut as the lead role in the 2014 film, Hrudaya Kaleyam, for which he won the CineMAA Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role. He is known for his comedic films and was also a contestant in Bigg Boss Telugu.  Chirakodinja Kinavukal (English: Dreams with Broken Wings) is a 2015 Malayalam spoof film. Directed by debutant Santhosh Viswanath, the film has been produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames. It has the notable achievement of being the first ever Malayalam parody film. The film features Kunchacko Boban, Sreenivasan and Rima Kallingal in the lead roles along with Joy Mathew, Mamukkoya, Saiju Kurup and Srinda Ashab. Chirakodinja Kinavukal released on 1 May to generally mixed to positive reviews. Thamizh Padam (transl. Tamil Film) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language parody film written and directed by C. S. Amudhan in his directorial debut. The film stars Shiva and Disha Pandey in the lead roles. Thamizh Padam was the first full length spoof in Tamil cinema. It parodies contemporary commercial films and actors in Tamil cinema, mocking the stereotypical scenes.[2][3]  The film was distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri under the banner Cloud Nine Movies, and it was released on 29 January 2010. It won critical acclaim and commercial success at the box office. The film was later remade in Telugu as Sudigadu starring Allari Naresh. A sequel called Thamizh Padam 2 has been confirmed and released in July 2018. Tamizh Padam 2: Police Athiyayam (transl. Tamil Film 2: Police Chapter) is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language parody film written and directed by C. S. Amudhan and produced by S. Sashikanth. A sequel to the successful Thamizh Padam (2010), the film stars Shiva, Iswarya Menon, Sathish, and Disha Pandey. The music was composed by Kannan with cinematography by Gopi Amarnath and editing by T. S. Suresh. The film released on 13 July 2018.

Paatal Lok (English: Underworld) is an Indian Hindi-language crime thriller web television series which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 15 May 2020. It is produced by Clean Slate Films, and stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwak Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee. The teaser was released on 27 April while the trailer was out on 5 May. Loosely based on Tarun Tejpal's 2010 novel The Story of My Assassins, the series is about a disillusioned cop who lands the case of an assassination attempt gone wrong.Paatal Lok is a police-based investigative thriller inspired by the traditional concepts of Svarga, Dharti and Paatal (heaven, earth and the hell), as metaphors for the different classes of India and the four estates. 

Breaking Bad is an American neo-Western crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The show aired on AMC from January 20, 2008 to September 29, 2013, consisting of five seasons for a total of 62 episodes. It was set and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and tells the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), an underemployed and depressed high school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to crime, partnering with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), by producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld. The title is a Southern colloquialism meaning to turn to a life of crime.[8] Gilligan characterized the series as showing Walter's transformation from a soft-spoken Mr. Chips into Scarface.

Drishyam 2 ! The sequal of blockbuster movie drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph was officially confirmed on Lalettan's  Birthday. Visual) is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language crime drama thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It stars Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles and features Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Kalabhavan Shajon, Asha Sarath, Siddique, Roshan Basheer and Neeraj Madhav in supporting roles. The film was produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas. It follows the struggle of Georgekutty and his family, who come under suspicion when Varun Prabhakar, the son of the Inspector-general of police, goes missing after an attempt to physically harass Georgekutty's daughter. The film began principal photography in the first week of October 2013 at Thodupuzha in Kerala, where the film was extensively shot. Filming was completed in 44 days which was originally scheduled for 52 days. The cinematography was done by Sujith Vaassudev and was edited by Ayoob Khan. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Anil Johnson and Vinu Thomas. Released on 19 December 2013 in Kerala, Drishyam received widespread positive reviews with critics praising the screenplay, the performances and direction. It was the first Malayalam film to collect ₹500 million from the box office. The film grossed over ₹750 million worldwide and ran for more than 150 days in theatres. It remained the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time until it was surpassed by Pulimurugan in 2016. It also became the longest-running film in the United Arab Emirates, running 125 days. Drishyam won numerous accolades, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Malayalam and screened at the 45th International Film Festival of India and the 8th Asian Film Festival. It was remade into four other Indian languages: Drishya (2014) in Kannada, Drushyam (2014) in Telugu, Papanasam (2015) in Tamil and Drishyam (2015) in Hindi. It was also remade in Sinhalese language as Dharmayuddhaya (2017) and in Chinese as Sheep Without a Shepherd (2019), thereby becoming the first Indian film to be remade in Chinese. Georgekutty, an orphan who had dropped out of school after his 4th grade, is now a businessman running a cable TV service in a rural area. He is married to Rani and they have two daughters, Anju and Anu. His only interest apart from his family is watching films. He spends most of his time in front of the TV in his small office.During a nature camp, Anju gets photographed in the bathroom by a hidden cell phone. The culprit, Varun, is the son of police Inspector General Geetha Prabhakar. Later, Varun blackmails Anju to get intimate with him, or else he would put the photographs on social media. When Rani gets to know of this and begs Varun to let go of Anju, Varun says that he would do so one condition: Rani should have sex with him instead. Shocked, Anju accidentally kills Varun in an attempt to save her mother. They hide his body in a compost pit, which is witnessed by Anu. Rani tells Georgekutty about the incident and he devises a way to save his family from the law.
