    How does a life unfold? Is it a continuous, linear story, or a more circuitous experience?

    In this interview, we speak with Dr. Stanly Krippner. Dr. Krippner is a pioneer and author in the fields of developmental psychology, parapsychology, trauma and PTSD, and has pioneered work in cross-cultural studies with indigenous healers from around the globe. He has held faculty positions at Saybrook University and is currently faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

    Dr. Krippner joins us to discuss his autobiography, A Chaotic Life: the Menoirs of Dr. Stanley Krippner. This 3-volume set is published by the University Professors Press.     On this episode of the Psychology Talk Podcast, Richard Dixey joins Dr. Hoye. Richardis a senior faculty member at Dharma College in Berkeley, California. He’s a research scientist and a lifelong student of Buddhism who holds advanced degrees in biophysics and the history and philosophy of science. Dixey directed a bioelectronic research unit at a London hospital before becoming CEO of his own biotech company. He moved to the US in 2007 to devote himself to teaching meditation, deepening his own practice, and running the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation in India with his wife Wangmo.

Dr. Zausner is the author of the new book, The Creative Trance. Dr. Krippner is the author of a paper entitled, Trance & the Trickster.He also has an upcoming autobiography entitled, A Chaotic Life.
