Online in 2022 vs Brick and Mortar in 2022 United By Stoke

Its just a fact we are in the Year 2022, we are in the Future that we all never though would be here. We are talking Metaverse, virtual reality, and just things we never thought were real unless in the movies or cartoons. So for the Entrepreneurs out there we are in that between area of what reality is our future of business going to be.

Shane and I got into the online aspect of RAVEN 425 as we first started, and things were pretty darn good to be honest, yet we did branch out into pop up shops and selling our gear out of Crossfit gym's aka Brick and Mortar stores and we were actually blown away with the response and how the old school way of doing business was actually still booming and alive. Which then changed our mindset of what our business actually would look like as we continued to move forward and grow the brand.

Moving forward how does one plan for the ever changing roadways ahead as everything changes on this landscape we call business. The fact is how humans do business will change, however humans will not change, we still want to touch, try on, be seen, hang out...and so on and so forth. As well some want nothing to do with the lines, the people, the waits ect and are happy to sit at home and order what ever it is they want. 

With these options sitting in front of us the RAVEN BOYS will be and continue to attack both sides of this, we do not feel there is a better way, we do love to hang and meet our peeps so we will be expanding our brick and mortar area's this Spring Summer Fall or 2022 (this is extremely exciting for us) as well as continuing to keep up with all the online and future ways of doing business as we move forward.

Our #1 Go to Process for 2022 is Patience,for this brand, for business, for life, for dreams, for our future. This has come about after being involved inRaven 425  Apparelfor 2 years now, and it's something that has just organically come into our head space.

For all of us trying to live our dreams, follow our dreams, fulfil our dreams, most of us don't think it can happen quick enough, but the fact is anything that comes that fast (most of the time, not all the time) will fade just as quick. So do you want to be a quick flash in the pan or do you want to be a long lasting glowing sunset?

WHY WOULD WE SAY THAT YOU ASK?

To be honest its simple because there is zero foundation being built on, and the foundation is the key. The process is the key and for that you need and must adhere to PATIENCE! 

So if we give the example of building a house, we would not landscape the property first so that it looks all sexy and slick for all to see when the bulldozers have not yet broken the ground to pour the concrete...that makes sense right?! 

Yet we all want the billion dollars, the million followers, and the fame overnight....It's the same damn thing. We got to put in the work and we have to respect the time and patience it takes to actually build something REAL, and something that will last!

We have all heard of the 1 hit wonders that come and go, the lottery winners that make a million and then they are broke the next week, the accounts that go viral off 1 video never to repeat that success again, that is what happens without the foundation, the process, the PATIENCE of building a lasting empire.

So as always the Raven Boys give it to you real and lay out the lessons learned over the past 2 years, and how we plan to move forward with this knowledge and Process in 2022!

United By Stoke 3 Business Tips For 2022

So it is the New Year, 2022, it is another day, it is a new day, and that means time to make it happen in 2022! So we have for you 3 business tips from us the Raven Boyswhich we are either implementing or will continue to implement in 2022.

So coming in at #1 is NO Fear. If the one thing this last 2 years has taught us is; we can not get back time. For myself and for Shane we both look at it and will continue to look at it (and to some point base decisions off this) we are not promised tomorrow, and what if today was our last day.

 This gets us out of our comfort zone and leads us to NO Fear for the future, we trust in the process! BTW that is not at all easy and it's something that must be done over and over again to make it an easier process.

The #2 Tip will be to Find Our People, again with no time to waste or not time to mess around with, why be around people who either don't get us, don't understand us, don't believe in us, bring us down, and so on and so forth. 

So why put yourself in that situation?Why would any of us waste time, energy and our soul to sit around those who don't support us and that possibly we don't support them? So find those who do support, those that inspire, those that make us smile. Again we have a short time to make our dreams a reality so let us not waste any more time not trying to make our purpose felt on this amazing planet!

Tips #3, and this one is just apart of our culture and that is Good Vibes only, with all the doom and gloom being dealt out why not spread love and positive vibes, it is a much easier way to be. It is our natural state to be happy, to be in love with life, to be blessed by this life. We feel it's all to easily forgotten when the bad news keeps being pushed down our throats. So we will be upping our good vibe spreading for 2022. 

Again we are not some bunny hugging, foo foo, full of crap brand. We are human we have ups and downs, but again the game plan is to have way, way, way more ups for 2022!

The last few weeks have just been crazy for us here at Raven 425 Apparel, but you know that crazy in a good way. Shane and myself have been at it for the spring line up for 2022, an expansion of our flagship store in the interior of BC, Canada and finally knocking on doors to get into more stores out there....However those are other episodes Shane and I are recording, today it is all about you.

Why do we say that?

A very simple answer as we were about to leave on a super quick 3 day trip where we had meetings set up out the whaazoo there were snow fall warnings, the roads were crap, we were tired, you know all that cry baby crap...it came to us.

We did not actually have an answer, we for sure could have just pulled the plug but we both looked at each other and just trusted that something bigger was at play. We did not know exactly what that even meant at the time (we will be doing a couple episodes going deeper into what actually transpired) but we knew it was about being there for this squad for the Raven And United By Stoke Community.

Honestly it is because of you that we push ourselves to be better to deliver the best product and show up every damn day! 

For that we are beyond humbled and appreciate each and every one of you more than you can know!

United By Stoke Building Your T Shirt Branding Step By Step

So another episode and Shane is in the Building, and we are talking about the road taken from Step 1 of "hey I want to print a T-shirt" to ok I sold all those T-shirts and I want to re print, and so on and so forth. From 1 shirt to 10 shirts to 100 shirts then adding to your brand as each level you hit in your company.

What does it take? How does it work? What is the first step, how do you grow it, how do you sell it? 

These are all questions we get from people wanting to know our process and these are all the question we have come across as we grow each step of this brand. There is always something new to attempt to overcome grow and get to the next step in ever growing your brand and company.

Nothing is straight forward and honestly nothing is easy, but if you have some skills, if you have hustle, if you have trust, and most of all if you believe in yourself and in the process (which WILL NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT) sky is the limit.

United By Stoke Finding Our Way Brick and Mortar 

Today finally Shane has made it into the studio to bless us with his 2 cents!

This last few weeks for us has been interesting and challenging when it comes to finding ourselves a new store front in the town we call home. 

Why You Ask? 

Well, its all about our belief our perspective and our brand foundation. We have been (all be it very blessed) asked into a few shops that are already established, local and have a following, which is just an amazing opportunity for us here atRAVEN 425.Honestly that is a super blessed place to be in these unique times for sure....however!

For us its about our fundamentals the brand cannot be and will not be compromised, so what does that actually mean for us, and or what the phuck are we talking about rite? Well, we stand behind very strongly by the way certain views and certain ways to do business, so when we come into someone else place we need to first off respect their house. We need to make them more than we make ourselves and we need to provide them more value than they do us, which will take us a phuck ton of work to deliver!

So for us it is NOT possible to do this if our hands have been tied by the rules and regulations they follow. 

One quick example of that would be lets say; the store owner saying we do not play music in this location as it's a zen zone, which is their way. Again how would we do in that type of environment when we usually bring a very island happy upbeat style of music pop-in off in the speakers, we are both pretty high energy and extremely talkative to all clients who enter the area. Well, it might not go so well in our humble opinion and why would that be....

BECAUSE WE COULD NOT BE OURSELVES!!! 

Time is the most valuable asset we have do not waist it ever!

Veterans Day 2021 Hit Us Different 

As We grew up in School we always had the Remembrance day events, the moment of Silence and we always had Vets themselves come to the school to be part of this day. As a kid it was what it was and we showed our respects.

As we all grow up and hit University or go to jobs we try to have the moment of silence at 11:11 and still show our respects. 

As a brand that lives and breaths Cross-fit we all in this community know that we show up and represent for the Fire Department, Police, the Military and our Vets. We always rock what we call HERO WODS. It's a big part of the lifestyle and the mentality of this community. 

He have however noticed the last few years that a lot of places now close on this day, the day we are needed most to show up and represent and pay or dues and respect.

For us here at RAVEN we felt this urge to stand up even harder for the soldiers and the Vets to show our respect, and this year it got very emotional for us during our HERO WOD. 

It was an honour for us to be able to show up and for that we are forever thankful

Cultivating Community 2, Am I Magnesium Deficient?

In this episode we go over some of the major changes I have personally experienced since adding magnesium into my daily go to vitamins for health. I have about 5 major go to's over the last 2 years and adding this super nutrient has been major!

So for me I noticed (as we upped our workouts to the next level, and took our fight training to the next level) that muscle soreness was nothing like it use to be. 

For example when I would travel to tropical destinations and spend countless hours in the ocean, I never was soar like the rest of the time when I trained, and it was not until I connected the salt from the ocean being Magnesium that it all made sense.

So we go over about 8-10 signs that you maybe Magnesium Deficient, and if you feel you may want to look into it further check with your doctor and as well check these guys out at Poliquin Group.

Is it Epidemic or Scamdemic The 2020 Debate

Something we need to start to understand is the Spartan Mentallity~ I do not say this half assing it. Look what is happening to men in these times, yes I mean a good portion of the grown men still living at home with mommy and daddy. How in general men are being raised (again not all but we are speaking the majority). I personally feel it will be the empowered women who take us to the next level, and again I use the word EMPOWERED very very highly!

So if we can just meet in the middle, if we can just hold our tongue and pause before we react to what is being said out loud by others who may not agree with what it is we think it correct. On the flip side if the other people can just pause and try to understand that it is ok to have different thoughts. It is ok to have different ideas, this is part of being HUMAN. 

It does seem now more than ever that there are only ever going to be 2 teams and that we must pick a side...but I dont agree with that, we must take all sides and then make an informed path and plan moving forward!

How To Overcome The Negative Influence of Others

Why Do we let others Dim our Light? Why do we let others opinions influence who we are and how we act and interact with others? Why do we let society police our behaviours and actions? 

This is something I continue daily asking myself and continue daily working on for my self to continue to elevate into the person I am meant to be and am becoming.

Even after all these years of training and looking inwards and overcoming all the programming (sorry still trying to overcome) and all the pre hardwiring in my mind, I have found myself down playing my actions and who I am to either please, appease and or keep the peace with others I have chosen to work with, be around or partnered up with.

I say this out loud to myself and each one of you, UNACCEPTABLE!
This Is No Way To LIVE - Life is to short to Dim YouR LIGHT for anyone...ever...PERIOD!

If they do not respect you enough, or respect who you are, then why would any of us ever choose to be around them???

It's them who are fearful, worried and care about what others think, so they use that fear to try to influence us into the NORAML BOX, that they have accepted! 

F that and F them!! NEVER EVER STOP BEING YOU!!

Real Men Spartans and Corna Virus 2020 And Beyond

This is Sparta, do you remember the movie 300? 

Yes, I know it was just a movie, however there is a small factor of truth from that movie, the fact that all civilization, all ancient cultures had a group of men a group of warriors who rose up and protected the tribe. These men, (and yes absolutely if you dig deep enough there were even tribes of females that were bad ass monsters who protected their tribes, family and or group) but the fact being they had a mentality they had a will and a duty to survive and thrive. 

In the current times we are in, wow are we in the gutter to say the least, men are mainly lost puppies that can not make a decision unless the women in their life does it for them. So first off it is a fact that women are the mentally stronger group currently (again this is not every single man or every single female, but in gereral). 

The military men types I train with...boss, I mean unreal strength mentally and physically, but outside that most men I know are in their 30's and still living in mama's basement and mama paying the bills, and so be it right.

Having said that so who the phuck is going to lead during these trying times? Not those sissies rite!!!

Most of the physical trainning I do is mostly women demographically, and again of course there are men, lots of men, but the majority are women...bad ass women who run shit! Boy I love it and I love their strength and beauty. They will lead! 

The main thing to understand in this time the time where we all as humans need to level up, show up, excel, overcome, thrive and survive, the ones who have been babied, or to call it what it is are soft as shit, will be left behind. We need leaders, we need strong ass humans to push forward.

Step up, stand up, and  take what is yours...empower oursleves! Lets go!!

Bare Foot And Learing The Ancient Ways The Simple Things

I am super tired of all the weekend warriors out there who take a course (which is amazing by the way, love the fact we are all trying to better ourselves) but so so so so many of the students and practitioners I run into seem to think that there is this elaborate spiritual hierarchy that only a few people get to experience. 

Absolute BS! There are no better there are no worse, there is only those who do, an those who sorta do, and then those who fake it! 

So one of my biggest lesson on this last ancient session I was on, was so so simple that it actually shook something in my core, the saying IT IS THE SIMPLE THINGS, rang very true.

So remember it is the Simple Things.

I was the last one in line on our hike the "old timer" the man who has had the ancient knowledge passed down to him in his line of lineage, stopped me at the trail head and said "You Are Ready".

Ok so I trust, that is all. I trust.

No clue what he means, what we are doing, what the plan is. I get asked to take off my shoes and my shirt. Simple as pie.

Then we commence on the hike in quiet and alone as everyone else speed along. 

The things I learned in silence, and saw while everyone speed past....Amazing and priceless.

Stop The Madness We Are Back  

I had the chance to train with some of the most saught after technicians in the soto zen game. Very last minute and very out of the blue, which is how you know the universe wanted it to be this way. I was in the back woods, trainning and learning some very deep ancient ways. More than anything though I was working on myself, my higher self.

AI TAKE OVER OR A CONSPIRACY THEORY? Good old Elon Musk must know some pretty cool things rite!
Did you know that most technology in movies has already been out to governments ect for I think at least 10 years. Meaning movies are not able to show the most up to date tech. So the public is very much in the dark as to what the newest of new tech is. Interesting right

After an impromptu meet up at a local breaki spot today as a few of my people flew in for a wedding (which I was unaware of and not invited to) we braved the cold temps to have a quick sit down to just max, and relax, and shoot the S$%T as it were. The topic of discussion was the temp and how crazy cold it has been and for how long. 

So not a let's save the world type conversation just classic 'we have not seen each other in a long time so lets catch up and just vibe'. Here is the unique thing for me when I (as always sit back and observe) the universe always teaches us something....Even when we are just gossiping!

The one friend who came in from a warm climate said so what is the temperature exactly, to which we all looked at our phones ( Just another fact of life). Boom and this is where it gets weird. 5 different people, 5 different phone, from 5 different place yet all geo tagged to the location we were all sitting in, and guess what.

5 different temperatures were given. Weird right? Which one was right? Why the different temps? 

We made sure we were all on the same location, we all made sure our location was set to current and yet still these different temps. The range was well over 12 degrees between them all. This then lead into a very heated fire side talk about A.I, how we rely more and more on devices, how we really wouldn't have second guessed the temperature if one person said ohh it's "XX" degrees out. So how do we know what we are being given or told or what we ask the device is correct?

That's kinda a deep rabbit whole to go down isn't it. We have become headline readers only, we can't do math without using the phone, directions and numbers are a thing of the past as we just follow whats on the phone or app. Our attention spans continue to drop and we want things quicker, so how in the end are we fact checking or double checking if what we are being told or given is correct???

Just a little thought that came up today!

DENTAL ASSISTANT AND MEXICAN FARMERS A TALE OF 2 WOLVES. We all have these 2 wolves in us, these 2 sides to us the good and the bad. 

It took me almost 15 years to realize it is a must to embrace both sides and to not think one is better than the other or that one should never be used or looked at. In actuality they both serve a purpose for our greater goals and good. Without looking into our "dark side" or what in sotozen (the form of mindset study I practice) our shadow self. Which is the part of us we never ever want to shine a light onto. For many reasons including fear, embarrassment and shame. 

So I had as always a conversation this morning where this shadow side and this mindset thing we all work on was brought to light for me in 2 different news articles from 2 different countries and ways of life. The absolute best way to look at something if you want to grow in the spiritual aspect, meaning take out all the things we were taught and actually see things for what they are what they are meant to teach us! Very difficult practice by the way! This allows us to shed light on things through a different lens if you will and we can see something (possibly) for the first time.

Without getting into all the details of what we go over in the show what was and is always right in front of us is some form of a lesson so that we are able to grow into the human we are meant to be. For me I mention how when I first got into mindfulness studies that I ASSUMED that you had to be a push over, that I should not speak up for myself, defend myself, think in a negative way. Yet the other side of me which trained with bad ass fighters and military personal felt alive form this mentality and training. A TALE OF 2 WOLVES

The fact being we all need to take back our Universal right to self empowerment! Which is why the article of the Mexican Farmers who took matters into their own hands ( on numerous occasions by the way)  by simply knowing whats actually right and wrong (and acting on it), not thinking what others will think of how I think of what is right and wrong have inspired many of us to look deep inside and take inventory on what it is we are doing here on this planet and what is the reason for being here on this planet!

AGE IS NO EXCUSE TO GIVE UP. This episode is all about the listeners of The IGNITE YOUR PURPOSE show who are past that prime age range of 24-27 for males and females which society deems is our PEAK years!! I laugh and I laugh hard at that nonsense.

So I was asked to attend a gathering of sorts with a few clients and friends of IYP, and as always I sat in and observed the entire meeting/sit down and just got a vibe got a feeling of the pulse of the team, and I did toss in a few words here and there. Yet the main focus was to see how this group of women was feeling, and what they were doing about how they felt. 

Were they just have a cry session about how nothing will ever change, or was it a step into the WOKE State, the new 2020 vibe?

So out of the group there were a lot of them who were sick and tired of being sick and tired, and of them all there were 2 who had already made the change for the better. 2 years deep to be exact. 

So again as an observer, the visual look of the 2 who had already started making the steps to better and empower themselves was very very noticeable to me anyway. They looked alive (meaning their skin did not look grey) their eyes shined brighter, their minds were sharper, they just looked healthier and younger.

All this aside the best line that this one lady said who had already made the change was " don't make it complicated just start".

We already now the fast food, the pop, the alcohol, the processed foods, the lack of greens is all a problem. So why not baby step by baby step just make a change each day. This does not mean never again will I ever have a pop, but it does mean you know better that it's a treat not a staple in your life. 

It also does not mean you have to go out and train with Olympic Athletes to get yourself into shape, but again it does mean get your butt out there and move, sweat, enjoy the outdoors!

In the end I was just happy to see women supporting and empowering each other to be and do better, we need more of this. We need our women healthy and strong this is a fact!

The Red Pill The Matrix and Being Woke, what a start to 2020 for some of our listeners! The fact that there is going to be a lot of us who wake up and the fact that there is going to be a lot of us who go back to sleep is just a starting point.

So what does woke and sleep mean? Well, as always I use the MATRIX reference as a jump off point, but sleep to us here at Ignite Your Purpose means to continue to follow and fall prey to our old ways, our old beliefs, and our old system of repeating what we already know and do. An example would be if you always take the same route home from work or school, its just auto pilot, its easy, no need to think, no need to experience anything new, we are use to it. So there will be no surprises we feel safe and secure.

To be Woke as all the cool kids call it nowadays is to simply wake up out of the old system we use to follow blindly. It's a starting point of questioning why it is we do the things we do. Where did it come from, why do I believe it, why is it that I do this repeatedly, who taught me this and so forth?

So as I mention in this episode when I started to wake up 12-15 years ago it was far from easy. Most people around you will think you are nuts, they will for sure try to bring you back to sleep. I mentioned as well that it's no different from trying to follow your dreams. All those who never ever did follow their dreams or who gave up on their dreams are the ones that will tell you it is and never will be possible. So stay here in sleep land with us. This is just a belief system most of us follow. Its easier really to stay inside the box where everyone else is. 

Why? Because we can avoid judgement, the biggest fear we each have!

Until we question it, we can never find the key to our self imposed prison! It is a lonely, difficult road, only because we will feel not secure and being human were are told security is what we must have to feel safe. 

However once you begin this journey there is nothing else like it, to feel alive, to feel truly freed, to be able to think for yourself...priceless!

Jumping on the band wagon just because. So does it feel rite or do we just want to be rite and have our ego be apart of the winning team? Honestly think about that one, as I sat in on a town hall type meeting I was witness to an escalation of words simply to be part of the winning team. 

I had no dog in the fight it was not my country and I was simply there as an observer to see how the human mind and spirit react to debate nowadays in a political religious and dietary style conversation. 

I was not at all surprised by the reactions as each one of us has this DNA this mindset this never back down from our belief system type mentality even though the facts may prove us wrong. Been there many many times myself personally on this empowering journey of mine!! Yet to observe, to be out of your own way and see it and think, Phuck is that what I look and sound like...it’s a fast track way to transform yourself (in my opinion)

In this particular setting when a gentleman in the audience presented video fact , written fact on documents in question at this open forum debate, he was at the start questioned heavily and he responded with clam facts each time and I’d say he was correct at least 85 percent of the time as to what he was referring to and all seemed very low key. 

Now as this progressed and he kept basically kicking butt on the subject “ the opposite team” went from conversation, to yelling to threats of fake news and fake documents as from what it looked like to me was their inability to contest the facts. I think we all have this in us.

Our ego takes hold our beliefs are to strong and we would rather fight to the death than admit we are wrong. This is a place each of us need to look inside to make the change on the outisde.

Am I a failure because I gave up on my New Years resolutions?! Yup it’s that time, a little over a week or so into the new year and guess what stats show (and we all believe the hype of stats rite) they show 33 to 35 percent of all who set out goals on New Years have give them up already. 

Now as the days go on that number grows higher. I say this all the time January 2nd until about the 15th gym is packed, then it slowly starts to tapper off until by the end of February it’s empty again.... go figure rite!! But again personally I think these massive long lists of goals we make and try to achieve for ourselves are basic set ups to fail. How much thought and real consideration do we put into these? Its feels good to WANT to get these goals said out loud and started but we sometimes don't really understand what it takes to accomplish them.

If we don’t have the discipline, the mindset, the experience and drive then there is no way we can execute our goals. As humans this leads to a low a rut the feeling of depression or regression so we give up and fall back into our normal routine. So what can we do to actually accomplish or start a new routine, well start and start small with really achievable goals each day!

 Again from my experiences, simple small baby steps day by day over a long period of time creates a routine, which then forms a habit, which then over time we can turn into a lifestyle!! So no we are not a failures we just have to re think the game plan!

Fat sick and nearly dead where’s our heads at? Everyday we try to be better rite. Baby steps that all it takes and some real dedication. It’s not an easy road thats paved with gold. We have to look into some areas of ourselves that are not so pretty, not so great, humiliating, embarrassing, and very painful with hurt, and regret. But on the other side boy oh boy!! Priceless and that’s facts!! 

So when I hear my people (who are so powerful and amazing) not taking their health and growth seriously it takes me a moment to understand and invoke compassion. How is that or why is that you ask? Well, my dear friends let me tell you. So we as a people cannot claim we are too busy (to meditate, walk, work out, sip a t) when we spend 2 hours plus a day shit talking leaders of countries and others on line which is pretty much a waste of time in the big picture of things in life. We can’t claim we are to broke to eat healthy when you go and spend tens of thousands of dollars on face lifts or Botox or whatever the F£€k the cool kids are doing to their faces these days to keep looking 21 these days. Then on top of that you cannot claim ignorance to the fact that you don’t know better. 

So as much as I get it .... I also don’t get it. To want the best for us as a society starts with each one of us representing to our fullest of abilities. 

Hard times create strong people , strong people create good times, good times create very weak and very spoiled people. Its time we allow ourselves and our light to shine as bright as possible. No more dimming our light down!!

Ricky Gervais fires, wars, climate change stop the lies. I tell you what we live in a time when fast food and fast headlines are killing us softly. Are we loosing our ability to think and do for ourselves.... yup I think so. Nonetheless it’s a place in time that we each need to step into our own power, we need to take back our power. We need more people in position of influence to start maybe giving a little bit of a middle report on what’s going on.

 It’s not so left or so right but let’s meet in the middle. It’s about hope and it’s about a purpose driven life. Let’s stop the quick fix BS lifestyle! The only people who are going to be able to save or help or better us, is us! 

Yes, that means me and that means you. No one else truly gives a phuck this is just fact. They want to take our money our power our health or whatever it maybe, and the only way to combat that is to be mentally, physically and spiritually on point. The Strength is within us, it never left, we just forget we have it, because we have been told we don't have any.

Snake oil sales man fuck em!! So so disappointed in all the broken people who continue to break people. The only reason it irks me is because these people I spoke to today damn well know they don’t have the answers, they don’t actually take care of themselves as they preach to others, they don't practice what they preach at all, and yet want to portray to people that they have it all figured out.

 As well charge money to lead these people down an unreasonable path that leads to nowhere. For me, my take was that these groups I met with (whom asked for my opinion and help mind you) never put in the real work to get to the bottom of their own personal issues. Even the name of their talks or their course is just an absolute blatant lie to what they actually are and portray. If there was just a little honesty just a little realness I could have really got behind them, yet to fake and lie through social media and pictures just shows that the intent is not positive!

So why does any of this matter? Simply because us as a people need and must take our power back. Thus meaning we need to spot out the fakes and as well warn each other of these fakes so again we can empower ourselves. 

It really is that simple by helping each other out we then empower each other to rise above. Fuck the fakers and fuck those who are trying to fake their way of taking money out of our pockets that we work very very hard for. Let’s watch out for each other and have each other back. Power back to the people.

Fuck fear be inspired to live. It’s a new day it’s a new you. Why do we live in this self inflicted prison / fear state? We all have partners in our life from work to family and we are all under the same influences of these new energies hitting the planet currently. So none of us are special and none of are getting out of this without being effected. 

Yet I urge all of us to try to take a few moments to analyze our reactions to opportunities, and our reactions to fear, and our reactions to our own thought process to how we respond to the things that come at us daily. If we can pause and simply put a little critical thinking into the 'why am I responding like this as I always do time after time?!' 

We need to learn and by this I mean just a little push each day, little by little to be a tiny bit more confident then we were yesterday. To blossom into the human we were put on this planet to become. Fear is the control form that keeps each and every one of us in our own prison cell. Only we do that, and we do this to ourselves.

Getting the same results, weird right. Its time it’s 2020 and that means its time we look at all these opportunities that come up and push fear to the side. It’s our time it’s our life.

Broken people break people, healed people heal people. If we are not looking up to those who are older than us and in amazing health then we are missing out on some of the best education available to us out there. 

Really think about these are the type of people who have put in the real time, effort, and hard work to go through the ups and downs of what it is to heal to be better and to learn what works best. Guess what each one of us is capable of this as well it just takes time and effort. However the outcome of being healed is something that is not explainable unless you get to experience it. 

This struggle and this process is not always fun but to live our best life if the entry point is a little discomfort then come on, what are we waiting for?

We have to look and seek info that is for some reason not promoted to the main stream people, yet in a lot of other cultures these older types are highly revered for their strength, health and knowledge, again something we are not at all use to. 

Yet no matter what you hear or they say, it's our time, it's our right and our duty to be our best self possible and to take our power back!

Ageism, Young and damaged young and clueless yet be inspired. 

We continue on with the process of taking back our universal rite of being self empowered ok. This includes the poor view or the bigotry we all have been programmed to believe is true which is after you hit 25 life is over and you are old, your body will start falling apart have a couple kids get fat and take pills the rest of your life. Depressing or what. Today while wishing an old business partner a happy birthday, his new partner who is a little younger was almost disappointed that the birthday boy was the best all around athlete in their gym. 

From my studies all ancient groups knew as you aged you got stronger and smarter, yet as usual we do things a little backwards in the western culture don’t we. 

Instead of praising this amazing ageing human he immediately wants to replace it with something younger?! Interesting rite!?! So for each one of us the time is now we are in the perfect storm to take over with the knowledge we have and the amazing smarts we have. It's our time to be our best and live our best life! That will lead to inspiring others in the same age categories to do the same!

It’s feels so good to feel this good! Looking back on some of my earliest journals of when I began all these changes in my life way back when, and I did not start journaling until maybe 3 or 4 years into my journey. However what I can tell you as an absolute fact is how amazing it feels feels to feel amazing like almost 100 percent of the time. 

Again and as always we are all human and there are times when I don’t get a perfect sleep or I do catch a cold but over all I mean unless you have experienced it, it’s like you just can’t understand how amazing it is to drink this cool aid! If you are not looking up to those who are later in life and living an empowered healthy life then you are doing yourself a disservice for real. 

Again I am talking from 12 plus years of doing this. Not hey I tried this for a week or 2 and it’s amazing so you should try it as well. No this is real talk and real life and you can not believe how truly good it is to have this knowledge and be able to implement it, execute the routine and then reap the rewards. 

At the start it was a change and some hard work had to be put into this change, but once it becomes your lifestyle, it’s all over and the matrix is exposed and you don’t and won't accept anything that won’t allow you to operate at 110 percent.

This is our time, our one life, so make it count!

Fuck your New Years resolutions they are BS anyway. We as a society place all this hype all this attention all this anxiety on this one day. 

Why? Really think about it. 

I see each and every year in a gym or in the fight club I belong to, 10 plus new people walk in January 2, then low and behold within 2 weeks we are down to 5 new people then by February you are lucky to see 1 remaining. This happens year after year. Just facts. Statistically what is it 98 percent failure rate on all the BS resolutions we think up for the up coming year. Again why? 

Something we pride ourselves on here is small actions daily over a long period, that is the true road to change. Don’t get me wrong we can use this date for sure as a jump off point. However I personally feel that there is more damage caused if you fall prey to the hype, toss out a big New Years resolution and then fail. That takes a tole on our mind body and soul!!

Which then puts us in a negative emotional state, which leads to depression and then that poor old me mentality. We are then no longer vibrating at a higher energy level, which is what we need to focus on. Staying in that higher vibrating energy area, it is a must!

Why toxic people never admit their wrong? It’s just one of those weird things when you can talk and converse with someone who just has zero faults and can regurgitate all the talking points the news or the latest scientific document has already pointed out. 

Absolutely none of their own thoughts or creations, simply a head line reader and those talking points simply match with which ever "team" or belief system they want to back.

 I truly (speaking from my own experience) find it is a form of toxicity. Further more if they are unwilling to look into themselves (again something I needed to do and did and undertook 14 years ago now) then they are themselves part of a toxic world wide problem.

So for me and anyone looking to empower themselves, to take back their universal rite to be empowered to be Alpha (male or female) and spread this positivity this mindset that says just get all the sides of all the info then make your own INFORMED decision. We all have the same insecurities so let’s talk about it. None of us are that special that we are exempt from feeling human emotions. Guess what we all bleed red and we all use a bathroom and for the most part our minds are all wired somewhat similarly. 

So do not get it twisted when someone says “I don’t care what you, they, he, she thinks” because as each one of us who has ever said that (yup I’ve said it many many times) we don’t mean it. Because that issue Is actually really bugging us!!

We get our backs up against the wall mainly because we assume something that may not be 100% correct, then instead of addressing it immediately we just play it off like we are uber cool and nothing effects us at all.

Every Human has these same issues, yet we play like this type of thing does not happen. I mean it just happened to me not even 3 days ago. Even after all the training and the tricks in my tool shed, I still felt a certain way. My only saving grace is that I am able to swing out of these emotions somewhat quickly, yet we all try to shrug it off like nothing hurts us, nothing bothers us. 

Come on we are in the 2020s time for a change beautiful people, and that change starts with each one of us!

What if this Is the last time I am Able to?!! 

Going back to the very first few years and months on my training way back I every now and again remember the amazing and beautiful lessons of the ancient Japanese Tea Ceremony. This beautiful event is handed down generation to generation and since then I personally applied it to my own tea time. Which is to just be mindful when I enjoy a cup of tea, to listen to my surroundings and just be grateful for all. 

So today something a little more deep came to pass. The what if this is the last time I get to taste this “ insert your favourite item”. This just got me to thinking how myself personally just assume I can always get another tea, or cocoa drink, or...whatever it maybe be. But what if this was the last time I get to sip this tea? Really think about that. Really think about how preciouses it all is, from loved ones, to sight to walking. We are blessed at every turn, if we so chose to accept it as such!

No one is going to do it for you. 

No one wakes up in the morning saying “yup let’s make him or her a billionaire today” it just doesn’t happen. So how exciting is that then for us to know we are empowered to be able to take action and make things happen for ourselves!

The time in now the time is our's we need, more than ever Alpha humans to lead us through positivity back to our primal right of being empowered! When did it stop? Have we just all been that spoiled that we each forget what it is we have (from health to love to happiness and beyond) the world around us and all the opportunities that are out there. 

If we can think back to our family that either came to these countries with nothing, including no expectations other than the belief of a better life, well wow wouldn't that be an awesome place to start!

It’s ok to do and be you.

In this crazy weird upside down world we live in going into 2020 guess what we are allowed to take back our power. But guess what that does not mean that we need to harm or take advantage of anyone else, there is so much abundance in this beautiful universe that us getting ours does not mean someone else looses theirs!

Since I can remember all I ever have had in my ear, is other people telling me how, and why, and the way I should live my life. Looking back it almost seems like they gave up on their life or they felt as if my life was a reflection of theirs somehow, so I needed to be a certain way so that they could hold their heads up high as if I was some type of trophy or a loss in their lives.

Society today is pushing this harder and harder I personally feel, but I also feel that now, like right now more than ever is the time we need to take back our personal power, our self empowerment. Especially the ladies out there. Same goes for men! We need more Alpha. 

However I do not mean war fighting Alpha, I mean positive vibration spreading Alpha!  This is our time, lets make it count

More kids should get weight loss surgery even some preteens is the headline from an AP article. And I love what my man Gerald Celente replied to this article via twitter saying ‘we sure have come a long sick way from an apple a day keeps the doctor away’. 

I could not agree more. It seems that as an absolute last resort ok maybe I can agree there is an option for this. However when most children on this planet are either going hungry or living an active lifestyle and have a healthy weight, then what is it about North America that suggests our children need to have surgery to correct something of this nature?

When those who we look up to for our own health are telling us to take such an extreme action, over food, diet, and activity it seems just a little harsh or off centre to me. I can only image the issues that could possibly arise from surgery at such a young age, and as well are we ever really looking to solve the problem any more or simply just looking to put a band aid over every issue that seems to arise in our lives?

As always it needs to be us that goes deep inside to look for the answers because "they" whoever they are do no have them for us, maybe it will work for some. The hard work it takes to loose the weight or the hard work it takes to overcome anything in the end is always worth it, it ,makes us stronger and forges us into who and what it is we are meant to be and become!

Feeling Massively Frustrated and out of place. This is from the KP blog and he worded this so well that I had to jump in and give my 2 cents as well. I see and have been seeing this gain momentum for the last few months and I continue to say there are those who will go deeper into a sleep (maybe even have given up on life) and there are those who continue to wake up to all the beauty and joy life holds for each one of us. Now that truly begins with self reflection and diving deep into our own past and stories.

For myself and others the pointless conversations of the weather, sport teams, Hollywood this and that, all this surface bull crap that invades our conciseness does nothing really for us. Don't get me wrong if these conversations truly make you happy then all the power to you to continue on with them. My issues is the 5 minutes here and there talking about these things could be put to much better use talking about things that truly matter to this planet and to our souls. That does not mean it has to deep and spiritual B.S either, but rather just positive meaningful local enjoyment for all those involved.

The point of life as KP wrote is not to get old, get fat, give up, and die. This attitude does frustrate the phuck out of me. Realize the blessing we each have just being alive!! 

This all starts by looking deep inside ourselves! It is time to start your process!

Popeye’s chaos chicken sandwich rampage, it’s next level people. I have been saying this for the last 4-6 months now, there are going to many who go deeper into that mental sleep, that matrix, that lower vibrating energy. As well there are those who are going to wake the phuck up out of it all and finally start to live their life! 

It is an amazing time to be alive.

There is and are so many reason's to be alive, there are so many issues any one of us could and can stand up for, there are so many of our fellow brothers and sisters that need help, there are so many reasons simply to want to be the best person we can be. This as I always say starts inside us, and as well it starts with our mental diet and food diet. These things we putting into our bodies physically, socially and mentally all effect us to the core (and by that I mean at the atomic level) our very make up.

So when you see the type of news coming out of the world (and it is not like this is a one time thing, rather something that has now happened numerous times again and again) we can see the difference in the way we are each made up. Some are awake and some are falling deeper and deeper into the abyss.

How is it possible that most of us don't and won't stand up for all the wrong doings going on in this amazing planet from; child abuse, sex trafficking, human trafficking, the abuse of our women, animals, and the list goes on and on.

Yet we will kill a mofo for a burger?!! 

Tell me what the phuck is going on? 

It's simple we have lost our way, and until each one of us looks deep inside to heal, ain't much gonna change!

How to be gentle with yourself in times of knowing we need to change or be better. Not an easy thing. For myself personally and how my training was taught to me was very old school very strict and very authentic. 

So I took that same mentality into the changes I implemented into my lifestyle. Now something we talk about all the time here is our mental state. So for me being so rigid, so discipline, so hard and focused on exactly to a T what it was I wanted to eat, when, how much and so on and on. I mean that also is a form of stress and an actual hindering to improvement if you don’t have the right mindset. 

So for those who follow and are on this journey of starting to be your best self, I say this. One major issue I have taken into practice now compared to my start is to flow a little more. Stop being so rigid, it’s not only tough on ourselves but I can only image that it may not be that fun to be around for those whom we share our life with. 

And for myself someone who wants to implement change for myself and others around that starts with happy good vibes not strict cold calculated robotic moves. The entire point of life (which when I started I think I completely forgot about was is to enjoy) Yes to enjoy your life, the people around you and all the blessings in each of our lives. To spread love and joy to others around us, not to be a bump on a log that no one wants to be around.

So again there are things we each must be dedicated to but also remember the phrase "when in Rome"

Detox the body benefits and why all major religions and ancient cultures did it? 

So as most of you who listen regularly know I have been cleansing 2 times a year for the last 12 plus years. I fully believe in it and I fully subscribe to all the benefits it has provided me along my journey. I feel it is my secret sauce, one of the things that separates good from great. 

What it does internally to my insides at a cellular level, what it does for my organs, my mind and my energy. I mean I can tell you the true before and after and it is night and day. The body as well after this long of doing it knows it coming around spring and fall and there is an obvious reason for that "the season change". It truly is an internal thing, an ancestry thing. 

If it is health and longevity any of us seek than this is a major component of life that we should be subscribed to. I have spoken to many of the listeners and followers of the show and a few of them seem to think that what we put into our bodies does not effect our over all well being. They do not yet comprehend how eating correlates to blood sugar spikes, mind fog, fatigue, and so on, and or on the flip side if eating clean and nutritious foods, then how that allows sharpness mentally and physically, energy for days, strength and overall joy.

My personal feeling is in these current times we each need to do what we can to empower ourselves and not rely on others to save us, and that starts with something as simple as a detox!

Vitamin b 12 and vegans and all other dietary intakes. 

This was a question brought forth to me today as I sat in my most favourite, most comfortable, my go to spot for food 24/7. I had a green juice and a fruit bowl siting in front of me for my first meal of the day, and I was excited to get at it. 

Now my man who is on the opposite side of the health train from me (rougher lifestyle, partying, late nights, and drugs) comes in to get a friend of his a coffee (this place only serves top notch coffee). This guy thinks as he told me, we are all fools for Spending money in a place like this. As he came in tossing out his cigarette eating a breakfast burger from some gas station, and drinking that gas station coffee. So his aasumption is that this place and others like it are just riding the fad that is "health conscious" in these current times

So spending money on nutritionally dense foods or his own health obviously not at all a priority. Yet here is the mind blowing conversation that ensued, he asks me if I worry about my sugar intake, then follows that up with so where are you getting your b 12 from then, if you're only eating this? I was wondering if I was on a joke game show. 

All fair questions, but absolutely irrelevant if you eat crap from a fast food spot that has zero on a scale of nutrition, I mean those are not even the proper questions to be asking I my opinion.

You can honestly tell me you don’t eat healthy because you worry about the sugar and b 12? But you eat off the dollar menu at some fast food spot? I just cannot correlate the mind set. Why would you worry about those questions while putting poison into your system 24/7? 

I say this often we really all need to be and get educated on what healthy actually means!

Humans as Amabots is this the next phase? 

A student or a protege of mine came to me today with a slew of different news sound bites and he wanted to see where my head was at with them all. However in zen my goal is not to push any of my ideas, beliefs, or thoughts onto anyone. 

So what I did was to allow him to speak to see where his mind set is at. I was reminded that we all start to wake up somewhere however I have to admit it seems that these days the programming and the matrix energies are much stronger than they have been in the past. 

I saw this adult male gently breeze by some horrible mandates these people who are trying to get power or who have the power believe in or are pushing out as rhetoric as long as there were a few politically correct and hip 2019 band wagons involved. They seem to be able to turn a blind eye to all the horrible issues and rally behind the ones that they deem in alignment with his/their beliefs.

My shock was as someone (this adult) who has never worked, never really be introduced to the real world even at his age (which by the way seems to be more and more the normal) he thought that the amazon lifestyle and workplace was the best spot for him, even after the 80 hour work week. For me it was a complete disassociation of reality. Digging a little deeper as well how are these work force people going to be able to maintain those type of hours and for what reason? But that was not even a question, it (to me ) just seemed like this glamorous work place for him to want to be at. 

Again the matrix and being dumbed down as a society, do you think it's a thing?

Militant activism how not to be in 2019 #IYP

We are all fighting for dominance it’s seems these days. The right to be heard, the right to be seen, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of belief. How will it all play out when all any of us are really doing is trying to assert dominance over other's by yelling, and telling, even preaching that our way, our beliefs are the only ones that matter!? 

We just want to be right and we just want to be in power or have the power over other's. This is a human trait a weird one nonetheless but it’s something that’s in us all. 

The scene I saw today blew my mind in so many ways from the group protesting to the people who were triggered by the protesters to the police being involved to the fact none of these youths had jobs and to top it all off for me how they were all trust fund babies trying to school the average working class people.

It showed me just how lost some of the souls on this planet truly are. If we all don't actually step back and listen once in a while there will never be any room for debate, understanding and compassion. This is a major area for helping to heal each other and this planet.

Kids allowance in the 2020. 

Boy how times have changed and boy how the world we live in has changed. These are just fact's and issue's each human has to deal with as the days pass us by. 

So a study that was done and released today which is about kids and their allowances, and I found this paper very interesting. The average allowance now for most youths under 10 is 120 dollars a month. 

To me I thought that was crazy high - now I also understand there is inflation and things are just more expensive in general as the years move on. The one high light for me and as with yesterday’s show I sat on the fence, meaning I agree with both aspects of the paper, it was that 92 percent of the parents were giving and allowance and in turn trying to educate their children about money, wealth creation, saving , balancing a check book you know all that fun grown up stuff. Which I back 100 percent. 

Why well because none of us learn any of these real world skills in school and that is a shame. However on the flip side a lot of these parents were not actually making their children do any type of service or work for the money being giving, some were just putting money into an account for the child to have at a later date. Which is also fine but defeats the point of an allowance in the terms I understand it anyway.

For me I had concerns with that, the reason is as if you are being taught that you don’t have to do anything for money and the money you don’t do anything for is probably paying better than a typical after work job. So then are we possibly teaching the next generation some bad habits?

Riot Cop Shoots Hong Kong Protester with live round. 

So my thoughts on this news which showed up today was one of being in the middle. I wonder if we all stand up and take a stand in what it is we believe in deeply could we all really and truly make a change?

 Then on the flip side I wonder in 100 or 200 years will any of this even matter? Some of the great darmah talks I have witnessed, all the speakers agree that standing up for what you believe in is actually an inside job. That nothing we can do to make a change is done externally but rather internally. I do agree with this as well.

For example if we do not love ourselves there is no way we can give love to another as we do not know what it even is. However if we take a look at the health movement or organic movement no matter how small they maybe currently, they have grown massively over the years because the amount of people supporting it has grown. So there must be something to it that if 7 billion of us wanted change, change would have to occur. 

But in the end on the big big picture does any of it really matter? Should we just be doing our best to enjoy what it is we have?

Are we making to much nonsense out of the unknown that we think we know? Is it that we do not know the entire truth (meaning we do not have or cannot see all the pieces of the puzzle) which leaves us feeling not whole?

The Pyramid Scheme it must be as old as time itself. I as always in my talks witnessed today a talk or an indoctrination from a group of people trying to get the next group of people signed up under them so that these new recruits could go out and make the others rich! Rite we have all been there seen this and done that. 

Yet what resonated with me today was this saying ( for myself from my experiences growing up and currently) If we don’t stand for something we will fall for anything. That anything (especially in these current times seems to be money and overnight success). So how do we find out what we stand for? 

Well that takes as with everything in life time and effort. It also takes a lot of self reflection and soul searching if you will. Going deep inside and knowing what it is we want (that may not happen overnight). What got me was and because I have been in this place where someone sees the potential in us (even though we may not) to use us to make money for them. 

To exploit to a certain degree because at the base of all this "We Do Not Know Our Self Worth." 

I was asked once when I went for my first job “so what will you charge” and I can remember being embarrassed to answer the question simply because I had no clue my worth, my value and what I actually brought to the table. 

If I can push one thing to anyone in this position do your research and dig deep down inside so you know where you stand and what it is you stand for!!

Fat tax politically correct? 

Well, that was not the point of the conversation I overheard but some of the facts that came out made me stand up and take a listen and do some checking of my own. So who pays for all this burden on the medical system? 

We the people it is that simple. So when you find out that over 20% of the US Navy is obese and overweight, and as you dig deeper you find it could even be more than that depending on how you look at things. This is the elite forces paid to protect countries and even they are getting less and less fit. So how does that effect the and or burden our health care system.

Why is it that none of us are taught how to take care of ourselves? Why are we not taught how to eat. Why are we not taught how important it is to keep the body physically active and fit which includes cardiovascular and muscular strength and health. Which will then benefit each of our mental health. 

In the end the question about a fat tax means if someone who puts in the time effort and money to stay physically healthy compared to someone who needs to be cared for daily then becomes what is fair and how and who should pay for what in the end. 

Deep questions and thoughts but at it's base we all just need to take better care of ourselves and stop relying on a system that isn’t in the end solving any of these issues.

Are you happy now and what does that mean? Happy or happiness have any one of us actually been taught to seek this or look for this or better yet the fact would be to be this. Have any of us been taught what it is or what it feels like to be happy. 

Do we seek jobs that make us happy, I feel some do yes but I also feel in this day and age with numbers like 72% of North Americans not liking their jobs that we as a society are missing the make in massive ways. 

At a gathering this weekend an older timer shut down a youngster who was loud talking about changing the world to make his self rich get the girls the big houses and the cars. 

All things most males are force feed growing up in these current days. Now this sassy old bat simply replied after all his nonsensical boasting (which we have all done in our days btw) so will that then make you happy. 

To my surprise he for 1 had no reply when in this day and age this is  not normal, we thought there would be an abrasive response on how we was being attacked. As well he looked confused almost as if he did not even understand what that meant - will achieving all that then make me happy?

It is time to start looking deep inside for answers not outside for validation of others!!

Women stabs child, 3, in the face while he walks with family. At Ignite Your Purpose we focus mainly on health and self care and being better. This clip that you can find all over the internet shows exactly how we truly have no clue what is going on mentally in anyone’s head. 

The what the why the reason- but something we do feel is that diet nutrition and what we feed our soul daily is what shows up in life. For the women who did this inexcusable act we have to wonder what she is being feed drug wise and as well what she is feeding herself nutrition wise and as well as media wise. 

My heart ❤️ goes out to the child that will face a lifetime of trauma. As well to the parents who I have no clue could have avoided that situation. No where in any of my hand to hand combat or krav training would you think 🤔 that a women would be walking around with a butcher knife looking to attack an innocent child.

Heart Stress Test And The Outcomes #IYP (Part 2)

Heart stress test and the outcomes that come from them (I have never done one in a medical office) but I was asked to go for a chin wag today over a cup of tea and the conversation we had was about his heart stress test.

I found the entire process very interesting (anyone can look up online what they do in a test like this) after he spoke about the test and what was done, how his body reacted and then finally how it felt to do it, the doctor then gave him the results.

The results were that he was in the beginning stages of heart issues mainly stress to the heart.

As we continued to talk, and as he ate, drank, and was on the phone multi tasking (all normal life for all of us correct) what he said next was the most perfect reflection of being truly unaware of what is going on in your own life. I can remember vividly being there not that long ago. Meaning not at all paying attention to what we put inside our body and mind, then as well not moving the body physically to improve the health of the body and internal system.

He said that the reason for all this problems was his job. 

Not at all different from any of us looking for that one thing to blame.

Yet here is the fact, he is self employed, he is an entrepreneur which means he is in control of all of that correct? Yet he pushed the blame of his own health beginning to fail onto the term "work". It's my works fault, I have to provide, I have to pay bills, I have to...I have to...

I totally agree with all that, but I also agree with the statement of 'I have to also take of myself!'

Inspired To Action For Our Growth #IYP

Inspired to action for our growth by the little things all around us if we pay attention to it and for it.

As always I talk about the tales I experience in my day to day life which end up being learning lesson for growth. So I have been inspired to action by those whom are in long term care in the hospital which I have had to visit as of late with a little injury I incurred during Krav Maga Training.

To be in a place like a hospital or to be around older people, the type of age when you know there is not a lot of time left can teach us so much if we are open to listening and accepting the truths that are right in front of us because we will all be there (that age) one day.

This one older lady who was all there mentally and physically said to me; 'I try to tell all the other occupants that you are what you eat'. 

It made so much sense to me that we in our current state (these younger ages) we do not think about the effects of things 2, 5, 10 , 20 years into our future. If we did I think we would drastically change our eating habits, work out habits, and mental habits ASAP. We tend to think that this won't happen to us, or maybe we don't think that type of future is in our reality, but guess what it is. So this is why we preach the long haul game.

It's not until you sit in a place like this and speak with and observe the people in here that it all makes sense in the now. It hit's you like an AH HA!! Moment. Like I get it, if I don't want to be (for example) 70 years old and drooling all over myself then yes I should take action today to push that type of future off either forever or for as long as possible.

How to Slow Down Life For The Better #IYP

How to Slow down life for the better and enjoy the little things each and every one of us take for granted each second of the day.

What I am talking about the little things like sight, smell, touch, sound, love, freedom, health, friends, family, sky, earth....

I could go on for days! 

So why am I talking about this, well let me say this doing something and then being forced to do something are two different worlds and the forced world has made me very very appreciative.

The thing is with any type of mindfulness or meditation or yoga or whatever it is each one of us does to relax the mind body soul, it is just that, our break to relax to slow down for the allotted time we deem.

However for me currently I am being forced to be slow due to an injury and it is completely different. It is 24/7 slow time and 24/7 mindfulness. I mean 24/7 there is no break there is only now and what is it I am doing in the now so that I do not cause myself pain. It has been a truly amazing learning curve.

Trying to sit, stand, lay, drink, eat, drive walk, sneeze, I am having to re learn how to do them all slower and smoother so that I do not cause myself pain. The most perfect practice the Universe could give any of us the lesson of really slowing down and accepting that slow down and enjoying it.

Again this approach is much different from talking out an hour or two or whatever of a busy day to slow down momentarily before raging hard again into our normal flow.

The appreciation I have found for these little things like standing, sipping a tea, not having pain, being able to sneeze without pain. All these items and there must be millions of them that each day we over look and take for granted, while at the same time wishing we had this or that, or more, or better, forgetting just how good we actually have it. Unreal

The saying "YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE UNTIL ITS GONE" is fact!

So let's try our hardest to know exactly what is that we have so we do not loose it!

The Answer to Everything Is Within Us #IYP

The answer to everything is Within Us, yet we (myself at least) tend to look for answers or maybe conformation or even maybe our worth or value based on an outside opinion. 

Now because of this simple factor of giving our power away, we (well me personally) tend to freeze up with doubts about what others man think, or say, and then NOT end up doing that certain something which gets us closer to our dreams.

For myself as you know I always hold my feet to the fire first, I sometimes think that this one person holds my entire life, dreams, hopes and aspirations in their hands, and because of this I tend then to hold off on my end, or put these simple tasks off until I can over ride my auto pilot brain, and this sometimes takes a day or two. There are so many factors that come into play on this from the worry of being hustled to the worry of someone elses opinion, either way we all have our own reasons as to why but they are not at all reality, simply just a fear or an excuse.

Yet the fact of the matter is unlike in the 70's and 80's or whenever when the hustle was not online, nowadays there are endless avenues and opportunities to be heard or make contact, yet I still sometimes feel like 'nope' its this one person and "what if" they say no.

Paralyzing myself in a false fear and then before even trying I have the option to give up just in case my feeling were to get hurt!! WTF!!

This is my first reaction, which is unacceptable - so I work hard to push myself past this.

Someone else is not the answer, someone else does not determine our value or self worth. 

This is our one life, so please I beg you and myself to take risks and push the envelope of our own comfort zone, only then can we go out at death knowing every rock was turned over. Nothing left to try.

Millennial Foods and Apps Where Is It Going? #IYP

Millennial Foods and apps where is it going, and how is it going to effect the health of the nation and planet?

It is something that needs just a little awareness shed onto it as with this instant get anything and do anything now world we live, which is also very involved around us being attached to a phone, computer or some type of device which then leaves us some what sedentary, moving less and less as a people...well I then think it is open for a discussion

So the study which was done by a few Universities in the heartland of the USA reported that a high percent of the student body (80% or so) was charging massive amounts of money onto credit cards and the major or dominant charges were from delivery of food from certain apps. 

I mean there is so many areas we could look into here such as who is paying those bills (mom and dad) what type of foods are we putting into our bodies, and how is it we are so busy (playing games or on social media) that we have to order in, or why is it we don't want to be out socializing for real? It is such a massive area to chat about.

Either way for any of us as this becomes more of reality then trend, it will be a focus to not over spend, this is something that will need to be taught. The report stated that most of the students were spending anywhere from $1000 to $1500 a month on these apps. I mean that is major, massive and I get it, they have made it so so so easy to just click and boom here comes the food. Taking away responsibility of the actual physical money possession (which is the reward of earning that money and then breaking the bill and getting change). It also creates the removal of either making your own food which then again includes going out to a store and buying food (money exchange again from money earned, and socializing). 

So it removes so many steps from our lives which is awesome in one way, but it does however if we are not educated or not aware of these things make it so easy to over spend, over indulge, and put a massive amount of crap foods into our system.

Just some food for thought!

Following The Crowd, Where Does It Get Us? #IYP

Following the crowd, where does that get us really?

It is a human trait we all fall prey to, this is a fact. Myself included time and time again it happens to me...if I do not know what it is in the end that I want, or what my end goal is. 

That is when I will fall prey to it, as well if I do zero research on the "thing" it is that the crowd is following or doing. 

We tend to find trust in someone or something (a brand) and from there we (a lot of the time, not all the time) will over ride our own thoughts and processes or research or gut feeling and go with the advice or better yet follow the crowd to whatever the hip new trend is or to whatever all the cool kids are doing.

It's this over ride that has me fascinated, we will give our power away, we will give our self discovery away, we will give our intuition away, we will give our learning process away because we feel or we believe that the person / brand who has recommended a certain something has more power, knowledge, is better than us, you name the reason but each one of us at some point will fall prey to one of them.

I have said this many times 1 thing does not work for every person, there is nothing out there that is a one size fits all cure, yet if we find that our circle of influence is all about it, then we tend to jump on the band wagon possibly without doing our due diligence. 

The reason why, I feel from my own experiences is laziness and trusting. I anyway sometimes put that "getting hustled" feeling to the side because I think this person wants the best for me, yet in the end after doing major research and informing myself I see all the flaws in the long run, short term might be pretty awesome, but my goal is longevity. 

I also notice that we tend to skip or over look some of the downside or maybe that down side is never even told to us, which makes my wound sting ever deeper.  Example would be let's say 'they' forget to mention something like a possible negative side effect, and maybe we even forget to ask about the possible negative side effects. Again why because we trust and take that person or brand for their word, not thinking at all that they maybe just looking at us as another sale (this is not always the case BTW, but basically what I am saying is always do your due diligence before blindly following the crowd)

Not Giving Up On You #IYP

Not Giving Up on You or better yet not giving up on yourself! It is that simple and the first thing I want to callout on today's show is the fact that if you are following people on social media that claim it's always perfect in life or it's always blue sky and rainbow's please unfollow them because that is not real life, remember we are all human and things both good and bad happen daily in our human life!

As well if you happen to believe or fall for the highlights these people are putting up and then compare their highlights to your own life and think less of yourself, then you also need to stop that nonsense asap!!

The first question that came up started today with, well how have you been keep up with your New Years Resolution XX amount of month's later? 

To which I replied I do not just do New Year's Day, I do almost every day resolutions to better myself. By doing this I keep myself on point daily for the long haul goals! Having said that I also immediately mentioned that some days are better than others. I have up's and down's (just like every single person on this planet). None of us are exempt form being human or from what humans go through.

The mindset does for sure have something to do with those who push on and those who either quit or never even start at all. 

That mindset I think comes from (not all the time bit some of the time) on how we were raised. If you were told or saw, yes saw, learned from those around you that LAZY was the normal, or if you saw that Working Hard was the normal, I think these items help influence us in ways we do not even understand this many years later. So that I think has something to do with the Mindset.

So a lot of time we need to go back to our upbringing to understand some of the blockages we have up to this current day. So don't be so hard on yourself! If you are asking the question of how do I stay focused or how can I stop wanting to quit, well then you are on the correct path. 

This path takes time, effort and continued attention, but just do not stop, keep at it. It will eventually come!

The Attention Span Of A Goldfish #IYP

The attention span of a goldfish which is something like 7-12 seconds is that what we have succumb to?

Is that not incredible, I think so, and sadly it is something we are seeing more and more as the days go by with all the gadgets, goodies and technology as it progresses and pushes forward.

So have we become one with the goldfish? Or has all this screen time and tech really just taken our minds to another level of dopamine needs?

The dopamine is the excitement factor that happens in our mind and body, the release of it actually (not unlike a high, drug or alcohol substance in the body). We look for more of these hits and how we get them...scroll, video games, screen simulation. 

We have no clue the true implications of the flicker rates on our screens but nonetheless they are making us more addicted that is a for-sure.

There is no finger to point or blame to be laid, however we do need to take on the responsibility of educating ourselves as to what the outcomes of these very small windows of attention will bring to our over all mental and physical health over the years. As well as what it will do to society in general.

Is it a cry for help that we seek fame and stardom or is it in fact we are so board with our own lives that we seek this external stimuli to give us hope and meaning.

We spoke about the EGG picture that was hot at one time on the internet. How a picture of an egg garnished the most likes ever online. How was that possible and why?

There are still patches and areas in day to day life that give me hope (like seeing youngster playing outside with no tech, just their own imagination) Or a door being held open showing me that there is still awareness of others. We just all need to make sure those items become louder and louder over the coming years!

What I Want Is What I Got In The End #IYP

A trip to the Hospital lead me to an amazing conversation with an elderly lady and a massive lesson in understanding for myself and I hope all of you as well. Meaning what we want and think of something is not always the same as what the people who we want and think it for may think for themselves! Here is how this played out.

So I had an issue with my ribs from some Krav Maga training I was doing and I was told to be on the safe side to take a visit to the hospital. So I did, and within I would say 5 minutes this old timer rolled up beside me to strike up a conversation, and ohh boy what an awesome conversation it was!

She told me all about way back when how she had done the same thing (possibly breaking some ribs, and how painful it was) from there she started telling me how she would give anything to have those days back. She was not unhappy with where she was at or how she was living but simply saying (I think anyway) how she wishes she had her mobility and freedom back again.

Part of me wondered and maybe even judged how she ended up where and how she was. In an electric cart with oxygen and a patch over her throat. The wondering was about the oxygen and the cart. She is very old I can tell that, and very full of life which I love.

We continue on, and she tells me about not wasting time (all from her point of view being near the end as she called it) not worrying about the insignificant things in life that cannot be controlled (like what others think, or what we think others think). She said to enjoy my body, freedom, and health, while I still have it.

That last statement made me again wonder if she had done all the things she was telling me about. As I looked at her with amazement and respect I felt like the Universe was speaking through her to me for me but also as a lesson in the bigger picture of life.

Then the real lesson after about 10 minutes of banter...she looks at me almost like a used car sales person, like a hustler and say's "so you got a smoke for the old lady?" 

I think I must have turned red, she was on oxygen, she could not walk or not easily I assume, she had a patch over her throat (maybe surgery, maybe something else) and she wanted a smoke? 

Myself no I do not have a smoke I said, to which she replied not to worry I will find one. 

She then went on (again a lesson from the Universe) to say you know when you get to be my age and in my position there are only so many things you can still enjoy in life and a good smoke is one of mine.

In that micro second I thought ok then who the phuck am I to take away this person's joy?

The Future Looks Bright Once You Let It Part 2 #IYP

In Part 2 of this chat I go deeper into the fact of my ant sized view (on how I assumed the world was crashing down on me) instead of my bird's eye view (which is now my fact of endless possibilities and not being held back). I also talk about the new found freedom, the new found creativity and the fact that I am not feeling held down or held back in anyway.

I am able to expand at a much faster rate as I know the amount of study and time I put into this discipline that others just are not able to keep up with nor do they have access to the teachings, this all allows me to do any type of content when and how I feel and see fit to best suit the audience.

None of these things were in my thought process when this news hit.... How blessed we are to have some tools in the shed to work with!

The Future Looks Bright Once You Let It #IYP

So I have to let you all know how a piece of information that was told to me threw me into a tizzy for a few days because of all the wrong reasons.

You may ask what or why, so let me give you the background. I was leaving for a month away from my office and area, I had a few final calls and interviews to do before going, as I knew I would be offline due to travel and time changes for about 2 days. One of my last conversations was a massive exciting, high vibration, pump you up, type conversation, the sky is the limit conversation where you leave it thinking anything is possible. We chatted about the high hopes for the future of this here show, new gear (which I ordered that day) new avenues we were going to chase down, the private jets and world tours we would be doing in the next few months to years. Like it was a mind blowing type conversation...

But in the back of my mind I felt something was off, yet I paid no attention to it.

So 2 plus days later I get a text or email that once I finished reading it, felt like someone kicked me right square in my man junk area!

A very nice short and sweet email that said they were no longer interested in moving forward with me or the show (for their own reasons) and that was basically that.

In the grand plan of life not a major issues, but for me I was blind sided I had just ordered all this equipment, we talked about taking over the podcast game, so on and so on, to a complete 180 of, nope we are done.

It took me about 3 days to fully get out of the funk I had created for myself from this news. Yes, you heard me correctly the funk I had created for myself!!

I was tossed into such a negative thought process that I could not see the sunshine from my own ass! I was worried about all the wrong things and (now looking back) the most insignificant and stupid meaningless things. So by focusing on all of that I lost all of my own power and energy. I thought (for some weird and absolutely ridiculous reason) that I could not go on by myself, or it would be to hard by myself, or it would be to much work by myself, no one would listen to just me by myself (do you see a pattern here)?

This is the crazy thing, and this even after 10 plus years in the game of mind studies is I forgot I was doing this solo a year ago, I make music solo, I toured solo...no word of a lie when I was in my tizzy none of these empowering high vibration energies or thoughts came up...can you believe that. That is how focused on the lower self, negative energy and the reptilian brain I had been for a few days! 

However by the end of the second day it all changed my meditations, grounding, high energy and high vibration team, crew, and family being around, and some universal guidance hit me all at once and I was like a pre teen with his first errection! There was no stopping me I knew immediately right then and there that this was the best thing that could have ever happened to me and even better yet for me!

Looking back a few weeks I truly do not know how I did it with a partner for the almost year that once was. I know now there is no other way for me then what is! 

I am so blessed for this lesson of empowerment and the fact that I have the tools to overcome the power of the subconscious and reptilian mind! That part of the mind is one tough nut to crack!

How To Protect Yourself From Negative Energy #IYP

How is this done, why is this done and do I need to do it?

Well, I think with the times we are all going through currently on this planet that this is a very good idea. On today's show I speak about how remaining silent for a number of reason's may actually help you and the person or person's you are surrounding yourself with protect energies and sanity.

Sometimes we just want to be heard and sometimes we just want to be right!

It is not very often we just sit back and listen and allow what ever is meant to happen or be just happen, we tend to want to intervene or we tend to want to sound smart or be right or think we are some type guru trying to help others. Yet we are not GOD or the Universe, so why try to take on that responsibility?

Yes, I speak about this from experience of course. The first 3-6 months on this journey of mine with all the new information I was learning and implementing I just wanted to tell the world so when people would ask....Boom I would just talk and talk and talk. Probably scaring them away! 

Something I did not realize either at the time was the energy I was also giving away and the energy (from them) that I was taking on. Yup I was way to new. So the effects of some of the interactions at times left me super tired and even a few times I felt kinda sick or nauseous to which I never understood why.

I once spent a long weekend with a guy who asked for my help and wanted to shadow everything I did. I was so pumped up that I jumped at the opportunity. By the last day I could barley stay awake and I was sick to my stomach. This person for 3 days was just dumping excuses, negativity, problems and his issues on me because I was there with open arms and a powerful energy source for him to suck off of. Boy did he ever use up that energy and you know what he did not even implement a single thing I showed him, 5 years later he still has the same excuses and problems because he is not willing to nor will ever change, he just continues to look for new energy sources (people) to suck off of (people who will listen to him whine)!!!

After finding out years later about toxic energy and energy vampires it was only then that I learned how to avoid all together those who have no real want to change or improve, and how to protect myself from those who do want the help but are extremely toxic.

At times by being silent and just listening (instead of trying to give advice, which in some cases is just our own ego wanting to be heard and stroked) you allow and or protect yourself from going downwards into the never ending negative rabbit whole that is a t times impossible to get out of. 

Remember their lesson is not our lesson so do not take it on as if it was. As well sometimes people just want to talk and be heard, they do not want to hear what we have to say! Something to think about~

Reliving Your Life With A New Outlook #IYP

How often do you, like me always think of the 'grass could be greener' over there option?

So on today's show I go over a great little reminder chat with a former business partner of my past and how that mindset set off 2 completely different emotions and this lead to a massive state of confusion and frustration, which as always once you sit with it leads to clarity and appreciation for the lesson at hand. 

The issues that came up for me;

1. The former Anxiety and Stress and relief for leaving

2. Fear, FOMO, lack, contraction for leaving

Crazy right, on the one hand so happy and grateful that I did not have to deal with any of the BS I use to have to deal with, but at the same time I was then doubting myself for letting go of the monies that came along with the business and company I had. So this massive amount of happiness and fear at the exact same time was a very, very new state of being for me.

The thing I noticed was that the feeling, the emotion of fear was much more powerful or much more dominate than the amazing feeling of lightness and freedom. 

This personally I feel is because since birth that fear emotion (which has a point if we are running from a tiger or whatever) is always, continuously promoted. The NO is always get's more attention than the YES. We are meant to stay in line, inside that societal box, and to teach us all that when we are children this is done through fear, which then get's hardwired into our program system and emotion system. So it is much easier to bring up past thoughts and experience's where these situations have come up before and we then just keep recycling the process over and over again. Very difficult to change.

The Fear of Not enough money, or not enough love, not enough things, keep's us in this lower level state. We cannot get out of this state without changing something. Or we are bound to just keep repeating

Judge Me Not For What I Do Not Understand #IYP

That is correct, the judgement in all of us, towards ourselves, towards others, towards events, towards everything basically. We run all the information that we get from our 5 senses "sight, sounds, taste, smell, touch" and then take that info a run it through our own filters, programming, mind,  and by that I mean how each one of us individually was brought up in the first 7 years of our lives. 

On top of that we are all victims and fall prey to mis information or lack of information or being sold or told a narrative that is either false or not complete. For an example I will use this, in school we are taught all the facts of the oceans that we know as humans. Fair enough correct, but what we are not told even to this day is that we have explored less than 5% of the ocean,(around there) so that means we no zero about 95% of it, yet as humans we think we know all there is to know about the ocean. So how can we (any of us) truly claim that we really know what is going on down there?

Mathematically not possible when you only have 5% of a puzzle, there is no way you can guess or assume the other 95%. 

Well, at least that is the way I see it at this point. 

Even for myself if I take the events that happened at Covington Catholic High School where as we all know an event took place. 

So I am not here to talk about the event or what happened, but what I am talking about today is how I reacted (even after 10 plus years of mind training in soto zen) to a sound bit and 30 second clip. Mixed with all the information being pushed out about the event itself.

I can remember saying their must be more to this, but at the same time the way the video and sound bits were edited I took that information into my system and filter's and programming and with the information provided even though I knew there had to be more to the story.... took it as somewhat fact. 

That just tells me how strong our programming run's. Even though I had questions, massive doubt's - at that moment with the only information provided to me my mind took that info and can up with an outcome. 

No different then still believing we know all there is to know about the ocean, untrue, yet we still teach and tell each other it is true. 

We always hear the saying "Question Everything" I agree with that, but I wonder with all this information hitting us 24/7 in these current times have we become to lazy to do so? 

Even though that statement rings true now more than ever!!

There Is Always Something To Be Grateful For #IYP

So almost as if I was channeling my great grand parents from the old country on today's show and talk, it is all about not being a little baby when dealing with the cards we are dealt in this amazing game called life.

From my Krav Maga training I was in a situation where the cards were not in my favour and I got taken down the wrong way and ended up with a few cracked ribs. Not the best feeling I have ever had (I am sure if you have experienced this then you know what I am going through) very difficult to breath, to move, to sit, to lay, and so on and so on. Trying to sleep is a nothing short of a pain in the butt to try to accomplish.

So I was told to go to the hospital to have all reviewed just in case there was an issue with the lungs. One of the reason's I did not want to go was I assumed they would push drugs on me (which was not at all the case) I could have taken them if I wanted but I said no and they said nothing further. 

As we all know when we go to a hospital (this is another reason I did not really want to go visit the emergency room) there are the long wait times to get to see a doctor, or get x rays, or get blood work, and so on and so on right! 

As always if you are an avid listener then you know that I (and you can as well) use every situation as a learning lesson and as a chance to improve.

So as I sat there in this waiting area that I was moved to, I could see into a trauma area and as well what looked like some type of special care or needs area. What I over heard and what I saw put so much into perspective.

This thing we call perspective I think is something that has been lost over the generations which is why this situation made me think of the old timers and old generations and how life must have been way back when and how mind set's must have been a whole lot different way back when.

So as I sat and waited (yes with some minor pain...poor wooooo me right) there were people who were getting much worse news, people in much worse pain, people with very serious conditions, people who were never going to leave again. This give's you what I like to call a reality check or wake up call. 

Perspective. Perspective. Perspective!

It made me think about my life's big picture and just how blessed I am for the knowledge I have about self care and mental awareness and the health I have and have had. 

Take a second to review how truly blessed we all are, good things come from being grateful!

It Get's Better With Time, If You Work At It #IYP

So on today's show I go over some recent number's from a few different studies or better yet one study that break's down into a bunch of different area's, meaning it follows the rabbit down the rabbit hole.

Without going into all the details and in the show I go over a few of the numbers but to get an overall picture this is what the reports said;

A very small percent of the population in North America is Physically Fit, from there they took it to the fact that the people whom are fit, physically and there for more often then not mentally (not always the case) as well tend to out perform their work colleges by a certain percent, which then broke down into a work week of 10 - 12 hours more hours worked, or faster tasks accomplished, or more productivity in general and that amount being 1.5 days.

I had to put my 2 cents in remembering all about the construction site's, work place site's, studio session's, and on and on where I can personally agree with the statements as facts. You can take into consideration so many factors but most of the time the proof is in the pudding, those kicking ass where just happier and fitter than the other's (not 100% of the time but almost)

The next thing they got into was some of the staggering numbers of people who are retired that are dependent on some form of pharmaceutical drug and the #1 being diabetes. They continued to break that down to how long they had been on the drug and how their physical health correlated.

The thing we want to try to get across (on our show) is that there is no age limit on getting healthy or more fit or a better mental outlook. The body wants to be better and go longer we just need to give it and get it direction. This from the food we ingest, to the way we treat ourselves to the amount of exercise we get. All of this can be improved on day after day. 

I speak about some of the guys I train with that inspire me the most, and they are the ones still kicking ass well into their 50's and 60's (some only starting in their 60's) who just get better, happier and fitter with each day that passes!

Put In The Work Stop The Fake #IYP

Ohh Boy another meeting and another disappointment on my end. Is anyone real anymore?

So with Ignite Your Purpose and HighWay 2 Change being both in the health area and this area being one of the trends or fades currently and maybe always for that matter, I tend to get some submission for chats or meetings to see if the parties involved can cross promote or aid one another and gain from that for each of their base of followers/tribe/community.

I spoke with a husband and wife team that had a very decent community going they were very smart, super nice and had a lot of experience and knowledge. So of course I said hell yes let's meet and see what magic we can work.

First of this was originally online so my only vision of them is what they presented on social media. Their picture's and video's were done professionally and always had the proper lights and (looking back now) the proper photo shopping and angles. Very well done site's and overall image and brand.

So when we sat down to meet I was immediately taken back at their appearance (not that there is anything wrong with how they looked) but it was not what they were selling or preaching online so in my opinion this is false advertising. Which was why I had that reaction that I did. I found it truly hard to listen to what they were telling me (which in all honesty was good information).

So they do custom meal plans for high level athletes and trainers, and to see how fake it all was just, well it was like a kick in the groin, I felt taken.

What do I mean by that? Well if you want me to buy your plan and you say look at me and how I eat, you can look like this as well by doing what I am doing, but the owners are actually NOT DOING what they are selling. Man Oh Man!

The wife (who was beautiful and really nice) had plastic surgery and not that, that matters if you feel you need to look younger fine, but to have had lypo suction in a field were each one of us bleeds and sweats every day fighting tremendously hard for that extra inch everyday to be a little better than we were yesterday, well her way seems like a heck of a lie and let down to the ones following. Just dishonest and I could not put my name behind it.

Same with the man, all the pictures of him made him look very in shape and probably 10 years younger than he was, but I mean he was at a minimum 50-60 pounds overweight. Again there is nothing wrong with that to me....unless you are selling the dream to other's that if they follow your system or course or brand or whatever the F^%K, and you are mis leading them by doctored pictures and re shaping your stomach and face area when posting, UNACCEPTABLE

Please team do your research and don't fall pray to anyone just trying to take your money!

We Are Not Promised Tomorrow #IYP

Wow what a talk I was involved in today and as always it seems to fit perfectly with all the happenings or the zeitgeist of things that is currently on going on the planet. Yes, so a very sobering talk today, but one I think that makes it possible to live a more zestful life if acted upon.

Which as you will see is much easier said than done, as we found out.

This conversation happens to fall upon the news over the last few days of people in my inner circle and those around the world that seem to be facing some major shifts and changes in their lives. Health, relationship, financial, family, beliefs, I mean it is endless for all of us when it comes down to the changes. 

I have mentioned this before many times that there is some type of shift happening, for all of us where some of us are going to wake up and some of us will go back to sleep. So if we want to evolve or if we want to expand I guess we should listen to the winds of change, that are being put if not shoved in front of our faces... aka lessons to learn!

That is where this conversation picks up, my good friend who I have known and worked with for a good while told me the news that he has some major health issue's and the medical outlook is not very positive. I asked what that meant and he then replied 'I was told I do not have that long to live.' This just knocked me over, as it would anyone. 

We got right down to the nitty gritty though, like ok if that is true and we are not thinking it is (BTW) what would you want to do with this one amazing life you have left to live? If you are reading this, let that sink in...really sink in.

We got into the; work, the responsibility, the love life, the money, the goals, the wants, where do you want to be, who do you want to be with, what would you want to do.

I mean we went over everything and it was not a one way street he asked me the exact same questions, which is why this was such a massive and in depth lesson for the both of us. The answer's hit emotions in both of us that left us humbled and saddened. 

Things like not being with your soul mate, not even liking the job you have, hating where you live. These are major realizations, that need to be acted upon, do not hesitate another second, as it could be all gone tomorrow

So for me it came down to 'why the phuck' do we wait then till a fatal diagnosis (which by the way we all have it's called LIFE and we all end up in the same spot we just do not know exactly when) but we live as if we are promised a long endless life. So again I was just struck numb by both of our FEAR's and worries over what came down to money.

How would we just pick up and leave or pick up and do this or that when our source of income is here or there, so how would it work and how would I do it? 

I mean this fear is in us all we have been programmed and then from that program we built our own prison! Which takes until our last breaths to break free from.

We sat there and made road block after road block as to why we "probably couldn't" we were not even certain, it was not at all reality just things we made up. Unreal! Excuse as to why we should just not bother trying.

Instead of having some of that child like blind faith, that trust, that belief.  That zest to live a life worth living!

Cellar Dweller Or Action Takers #IYP

This one hit close to home in today's talk, I see the sadness or maybe a better word would be the overwhelmingness that seem's to haunt the 2 sorta relatives (or close family friends) that stopped by for a chat.

They are getting up into the years where I think that they are really starting to think about and maybe even look forward to the retirement day's, excited to just relax and have no agenda or time table to follow. 

Yet there is some massive issue's they have self imposed on themselves by allowing their children (specifically this one child, well adult around 30 years old) to live off them unconditionally. Not the child's fault is it? Or is it? 

Here is the fascinating thing (and if we listen, I mean really listen instead of just waiting to reply all the time to be heard there are so many gems of knowledge that relate to our own lives. Our own lesson's to learn, the mirror I always speak of). So the amount of stress they as the parents take on to continue to provide for this child is pretty massive. The work load they impose on themselves to continue to provide for this child is massive as well. 

Flip side of that, the child is either unaware of this, or does not care about this, or just assume's this is the way it is and does not know any different. Either way his life is not really effected...or is it?

Never had a job, never had a girl, never tried for anything, no goals, no hopes, no aspirations, no anything. Just existing and is that really life? 

So who's fault is it? Or is there fault, does either side even see an issue?

Again I just listen, the father says to me "I'll never be able to retire". Although at this point that seem's to be what they want. Why can't they retire? The unhappiness of not following his heart is a massive issue. The mother says how she is worried that her son will never find a women because he has poor social skills. Again l listen and because of this (so called issue) she coddles him even more to make up for the hurt he may one day experience.

Who's issues are these, and how were these issues created? From those on the outside looking in it seems so easy to see and find all the problems and answer's. Yet when you are in the eye of the storm (meaning your own life and issues's) they are not so easy to point out because we don't have a different point of view, yet if someone on the outside looks at our problems, well then they would say the same thing.

So through what we claim as our definition of love for someone else, we cut off a life of possibility by trying to protect them from the big bad world out there.  Yet by doing this very act we try to play God over them, we are not God, we are not the Universe so we have to let this control go, or we not only cause massive harm to that someone else, we also cause massive harm to ourselves by taking on the responsibility of God.

What Is Your Future Plan In Life? #IYP

Today's show is like honestly a 1 in a million chance happening, not ever in the history of my conversation's and very possibly even your have I heard the statements that I did today from a group that I went to school with. It not only blew my mind but it struck me as odd, and because of that allowed me to dig deep into the mental program that so many of not all of us run due to the society we have been raised in!

How it went down was something like this, we all began talking about balance in life, travel, rest, you know that 2019 work life balance BS. 

The 2 high school sweet hearts said something that made us all step back. It went like this "we travel to much, and have so much free time that we think we need to incur dept as we have a child now so to save for their future and ours we need to start being real adults not waisting anymore time and get into some investments that will take up our time so we are forced not to travel."

Yup that was said!

So for me it went against most hopes and dreams that the majority of us as humans have especially those who are later on in life. So I took it as a challenge to understand they why behind the decision of wanting more responsibility as a trade off fro future security.

So I asked the question straight up, like hey you are living the dream, why would you want to change that. The response was perfect, a perfect picture of the self imposed prison's we all live in that each one of us create due to the programs we are running.

The response was "well you can't do this forever, at some point we will get old and then how will we (insert fear) live, pay rent, medical, retire, savings.

As well as this one (which again was out side of my thought process) "how else will we be able to leave our children or give them a leg up in life"

All these are fair statements and thought's to be honest, however I do not agree with them at all, but we are all allowed our own thought's correct. Either way I just wanted to understand the thought process behind how they think. For me the understanding was that for them now it is better to sacrifice the now, this moment, health, freedom, purpose, passion, so you can hope that the future provide's for your children and you then and not now. 
Really we all do this we sacrifice our health and dreams now and put it off for the days of retirement, why do we do this? Simple we were each taught that this is the system this is how it is. We give up our best years to squeak by in our last years. 

Not one person asked about how he maintained his health, looked so good for his age, or how happy he was. #FACTS

BTW 98% of the people at the table; not healthy and almost all were cranky old phucks!!

Do we need to re think this game called LIFE? I say YES!

How To Be Your Best Self #IYP

Do we really want to be our best self? Or is it just to much work?

Have we become to civilized?

Have we become to comfortable with what we have?

Have we succumb to the fear of loosing what we have?

I personally think from self talk, self study, mindfulness studies, and self realization that all of the above and more are correct. The one thing that I do know for sure for myself is that something is always pushing me, and or directing me towards (I want to say happiness or purpose or some time of drive or enjoyment)

So for example there was a time and I talk about this a lot when I was off social media when I was not really creating and not really producing much. I mean I was still doing it but I mean just the bare bones.

I would not say that I was depressed in those times as I am blessed to be living the life I have created, however and this is a big thing to understand once you get that inner awareness and what I was being told and what I felt in my bones each morning when I woke was this "something is missing", something was off, I was not fulfilled I think that maybe the best way to state it. Even though I had and have a lot to be grateful for, there was a void.

At that particular time to be honest I was not sure exactly what it was that I was missing. Looking back on it now I can with 110% confidence say that I was not following my passion, my dreams, or my purpose (as I understand it at this point in time)

So from a soul point of view I was super off course, and if you want to call it spirit, energy, universe, god, but my higher self was trying its best to get me back on course.

It took some time, it took a lot of inner work, and then it took myself getting myself motivated to work because this shit ain't easy, it takes time, knowledge, dedication, rejection...and on and on. 

This is why I said at the beginning that once we become comfortable, bougi, civilized, high end, snobby, and the best of the best lazy, it is all over and then we start to like I did live a life of just auto pilot, until we get to a point of it being to late and then we live with regrets until we die. 

A few of the mentors I have in my corner whom are later in life one is an investor who does not need more money, but he also tells me he does not need to be playing golf or laying on the beach 24/7. His goal now with his incomes is to give back to those starting up their businesses, and he reiterated that laying around doing nothing was not his calling and it also was putting him into a slump. So he changed his mindset and listened to his heart, he knew his purpose and passion and continued to follow it even when he did not need to be doing it anymore!

UnHappy At Work Should I Quit? #IYP

I mean tell me this does not ring true to almost every single human on this planet who is blessed enough to be in a country that having a job to earn a wage is a thing!

So last night I sat down for some me time, some information gathering time and what I did was I read a report on a 200 country study of happiness relating to jobs, and as well I watched a documentary on a young music artist that passed on. 

Both not at all related but yet through the vail of the matrix totally related!

So this study which took place over a 25 year period and over 200 hundred countries (so a pretty well rounded study) now we can always look deep enough into a study to find so reason as to why not to agree with the findings, but for the purpose of this show and to go with the overall vibe we have been feeding off her on the show, I will agree with this one!

Many question's were asked, many topics, many points of focus as to why each person was doing what they were and in a round about way the answer to each question was somewhat the same. Each of us is taught to be realistic, we are taught not to aim very high, we are taught we need to earn, we are taught following your dreams is a waist of time, and at a certain age (I think it was the mid to late 20) we should conform to the societal ways.

In a nutshell go watch the Matrix and each one of us has created our own Matrix which most of us never realize we built and we never break free of it.

We are doing this day to day task to make money to pay bills, to buy things and to one day retire (which is not at all a bad thing) but the balance of it all maybe the bad thing. We give up our healthiest, most active days, to work to earn, to feed the machine, to then in the so called golden years live off of what we did the 40 years prior. 

When you say it out loud, it's NUTS right!

If I speak for myself on here but there is a lot one could do to lessen the work road if you don't love what you do. We don't need all the fancy clothe's, car's, house's, meal's out, drink's, I mean once in a while but why keep up with the Jone's why not just spend as little as possible on the necessities and do more of what we actually enjoy?

It's just not something we are taught or we think of is it. Yet it seems so simple and easy. Obviously Not if 85% of us are this unhappy!

Excuses To Get Out Of Things #IYP

I continue on today all about the lesson's the universe continues to provide myself through others and my own actions and reactions! Fascinating stuff, really!

The topic today is this new found rant vibe I am on, which I feel is because these topics are so near and dear to my heart, having gone through them, or going through them and either learning or failing forward but not giving up!

After a few message's that all had the same sort of tone today this last one I read said it all and took me back to a place I know all to well. 

For those who don't know part of my story (the excuse of social media part) is that I was off it for about 7 years, not at all on it using it to promote myself my music or my shows. WTF! 

The reason being that because 1-It was a hard thing to learn and 2 - some outside influences told me that it was a bad thing. I personally took that as my scape goat as to why I could use that excuse to get off it, and then lay blame about how things were not happening to or for me.

So I got this message today, then a follow up on all their social media pages on how they were getting off social media and then listed a slew of reason (all of which were bad and for those bad reason's they then again blamed it all on the social media not their own personal habit's).

This kinda rocked me, like why if you were truly done with being online would you announce it to the world? The next one for me is if you do find it let's say consume's to much of your time, why would you not limit it to certain times or days or whatever? Why would you blame it for you being on it to much?

Again for this we are not talking about selfies, and food photo's, we are talking about social media as a marketing and branding tool. 

Yes, it is hard and yes this takes hard work, and yes this does not happen over night, just like anything else in life. And for all those reason's we want to blame something like social media or "the man," whom ever is "holding us down from success" and so we quit.

We really think that the easier road now will not lead to the regrets and bitterness later on in life.

It's simple we either pay now or we pay later...that is a FACT! The choice however is our's!

Wallowing In Self Pity #IYP

After Yesterday's talk I am somewhat on a role of rant's but only to better understand the why behind some of these actions I am witnessing as of late. 

Also understand what we see is a chance for us to learn from and grow, and as well it can also be a mirror into our own reality. 

This is one of the things that concerns me with as an extension of yesterday's talk, are we really doing things for ourselves or are we doing them for others to think we are in a better place, or an influencer, or coach, or whatever, on social media?

How did I come to that conclusion? Well, let me tell you the story from today which as I talk about and write about still blows my mind as far as understanding where a persons head space must be at if one is truly looking for a pity party from others to then give credit to themselves for where they are at.

Now that is a mouthful!

I was invited into a closed course to review and to take part in one section of the course package, an area on ancient healing that the instructor thought could benefit me. So I jump on board to the group, and all its banter and chatter in the online forum. This type of message was not a one off either, it was almost (to me at least) a normal occurrence or acceptable behaviour. 

So certain people no matter male or female, and again this is in an education course (where you are meant to learn, grow and expand your health knowledge) in the question area's for trouble shooting on questions or formula's or whatever, people were no word of a lie posting video's of themselves talking about how bad their bad was, how they could not find the time for the homework, or the due paper, or whatever drama or pity party they needed to vent for all the others to weigh in on and to let all the others know where they stood and how they felt. 

Again this was the norm for sure. 

I had and still have a hard time understanding the point of the need to air your dirty laundry out, yes putting it out there for others to judge. Yet the reason after viewing this was really for the ones putting up the video to have other's feel sorry for them and then send their condolences which was in some way a form of fortifying the belief they hold as to why they can not do something. Looking for that positive reinforcement or excuse as to why one does not have to set the bar higher.

Honestly a very unique culture, and frame of mind.

Nothing Changes Until You Do #IYP

A little bit of a rant today but this rant comes from a place of love, truly.

I got this same type of talking to when I was starting out in soto zen and mindfulness studies. Every time I had an aha moment in the first few weeks and months, I fully believed I was a changed human, but 10 plus years later I now understand that, this is not the case what so ever.

What has been coming up for me in my circle and business as of late, from a lot of people is this belief that after a very short time in or on this new path they are on, that all is changed and everything is beyond perfect and life is amazing. If this was truly the case I mean I would applaud them and ask them to write a book, but as with anything in life once you have been there and done that, then you understand what it is that is truly happening.

What is actually happening at the beginning of any process is that Puppy Love stage right, you know what I am talking about. It all feels kind a warm and fuzzy, very thing is exciting, so new, different, and at that point it's very easy to over look numerous things.

So ya it's Puppy Love (which by the way is a good thing) any step in this direction of bettering ones self is beyond on point from my point of view.

Here is where it get's sloppy though if we are not called out on our B.S or held accountable by those whom we are on this journey with. You fall off quickly, say it was a bunch of garbage that doesn't work and go back to your old ways. A lot of diet's work this way. 

There are so many ways to look at all the fu fu crap that get's passed around, but some of it is that let's hug all the tress and love everything because I am now so in tune with the vibrations of the universe (which again can happen) but after a 1 day course? Let's be real here. 

This stuff takes real work, to break a program you have been running for over 10-20 years does not just stop after a few hours. If it does, well that is really amazing, however if we don't work on the beliefs, item's, emotions, and patterns that got us there (the spot we want to better ourselves from), then we maybe very likely to fall back into that original program and hard wire that we grew up on. Which we will then reinforce and hard wire in even harder because we gave up on or failed due to lack of understand on this new path....and that is a very sad spot and sad thing to witness in another human trying to get on a better path. 

I think of addicts who try over and over again to get clean, not an easy thing to do at all. It's a challenge at time's not a walk in the park with sunshine and rainbow's 24/7.

Are You A People Pleaser and Why? #IYP

Ok so as most of you know I have been going at this mindfulness game aka soto zen for over a decade and its been on heck of a ride. Massive up's and massive down's and that is just scratching the surface.

There has been a lot coming up recently with all the energy shifts and planetary alignments happening in our solar system which I personally feel has been either waking certain people up to a higher level or on the other hand putting certain people into an even deeper sleep.

One thing that again for myself that has become very clear and currently intolerable is trying to please people, and a further statement would be allowing that want for acceptance (the base reason for trying to please other, and not thinking you are enough) as well as allowing them to project their "insecurities" onto me. 

What I mean by that, and something I am going to take from the great Jay-Z is that just because so and so in our life (Mom, Dad, Uncle, Lover, Friends, etc) says well I never made it so you shouldn't bother either and you and I actually take that into our awareness in our subconscious minds and allow it to penetrate into our hearts and beliefs, solely to appease them....

Then we are the fools not them. We have to stand up for ourselves, we have to be strong for ourselves. For just because it did not work for them has absolutely no relevance as to how that will work out for us. #FACTS

Again they may not be coming from a place of malice, they may actually even becoming from a place of love, but again it's on us to live our lives not to aim to please everyone else by listening to their advice or stories. This is all of our's one life, and we cannot douse the flame on it, we may never get this chance again.

On that note after this many years and finally and I mean just finally starting to realize that there is no time left to waist on trying to take everyone else's feelings, thoughts, and reactions into consideration for what it is I know my soul and heart want! 

I wish this same clarity for us all! Non judgement all aroud ~

We Are All The Same But Different #IYP

Ok as always I am talking about an eye opening conversation I had with a group of ladies today. Very open, very honest, and very deep with a lot of great points being brought up between all of us involved. This group of ladies happened to be close to retirement age and were, well let's say well off at this point in life, and I only mention that as an understanding towards the amount of time in a day available to them to research and campaign.

This type of conversation is nothing new to me and I am sure in the current political and just general state of the world it happens to be a hot topic so there is no doubt in my mind you have either been part of or witnessed this type of chat in your world as well.

It was your typical and I do not want to say environmental movement chat, but somewhat like that to be honest. These ladies were very adamant about the belief that there was to be absolutely zero development and as well restricted growth in the areas that they lived. I am and have been a visitor to this area for the last number of years for a few times a year and so as someone who travels there it got my attention.

Again this is nothing new, as to be honest in most parts of the world and especially in the most abundant, beautiful, and amazing places on this planet, this belief seems to be  even greater, and fair enough. Again these ladies had some valid point and these point which are echoed around the world do have some depth.

I also live in an area where this type of mentality is preached on the loud speaker. Yet the biggest source of growth and abundance in these areas is from tourism and development due to these visitors.

Anyway back to the point, and the point is we all came from somewhere else.

So I asked these ladies and I have done this back in my own area as well, so are you born and raised here, have you witnessed this massive change (which again is happening every where) and all the answers were the same. No, we have been here a couple years now, but this is getting out of control so we need to speak up.

My only beef here is this, there were the exact same type of people 10 years prior to these ladies arriving to what ever area they currently reside in saying the exact same thing that no one else should be able to live here full time, but yet they got in. So how is it ok that only after you or I get to these spots then after that it should be a no go zone?

To further that they also spoke about their vacation spots and other homes in 3rd world countries, and again I had to bring up the point, that they were doing the same thing in someone else home town. Raising property values on the local's as they increase the demand for development but by doing that creating abundance and economy in the area 

So in the end we are all the same but different.

Let's all keep an open mind to this amazing planet we live on!

Ice Bath Challenge and I Failed #IYP

To think of greatness and to be humbled, we have all seen it play out in boxing, mma, and most sporting events. You have someone talking that great talk that they are at the top, unbeatable, no one can stop them and then after the event they fall from grace, loose, and or are defeated. Facts this is life and at that point we either have 2 options learn from it and prosper or become a sore loser and never be able to get over it.

This is what went down for me today during the Ice Bath Challenge put on at our local box. Not any type of event where there was anything on the line or anything to be won. However in my mind there was, well maybe not won but in my head I was like I got this, this is going to be a walk in the park and the others will be impressed with my mind strength. For me with my background in Soto Zen, Krav, and Cross-fit I had zero doubt about my mental strength and was almost thinking it would be easy. 

This is because when it comes to the cold, for one I live in the cold and train in the cold, I have cold showers all the time and also I have jumped many times into lakes in the Canadian spring time when those lakes are to put it best friggin freezing! So ya I was confident. 

As I watched others jump into the ice bath and make it look like they had done this many times over most staying in for a minimum of 3 minutes, while other's pretty much feel asleep and looked very comfortable to say the least I awaited my turn while enjoying the sun. 

Ok my turn, I dip a toe in and ya wow its cold, I put a leg in, and I am kinda blown away with the pain already, 2 legs and I start to sit. At this point I am huffing and puffing as this is knocking me out with pain. I sit down and submerge myself and at this point I am breathing out of control and in total pain. I calm my breathing down and sit...I jump out 

It's been 20 seconds. What the F$$K I say to myself, let's shake it off, and I go again with the exact same results. I rest and repeat. A total of 6 time's I do this with a total of only 20 seconds max staying in the water. 

A total bust, failure, humbling go at the ice bath. 

Here is where I feel for myself the growth aspect from Meditation comes in. I was humbled but in a really good way the kind of way that made me smile on the inside. Not damaged from my ego by failure but impressed that I still have so much more to grow. Starting to understand that we each really have no clue in general of the big picture and all we can do is our best today with the knowledge and tools we have. So much more growth to do, which I can now look at with excitement and understand that this is a truly amazing place to be. 

Stagnation would mean death for the human soul.

No Skin In The Game So Why Bother? #IYP

We all see it, we have all done it, and we have all been apart of it, yup that's right we all have done it. 

You know that I'll do that later, or next week, or after I finish this bag because it was expensive. Or we were told that someone would help us out of the goodness of their heart for our betterment and then never showed up or never took them up on the offer...for what ever reason.

Now I say this because it is something I have been witnessing a lot lately since we have putting out content and since we have started helping others, a lot of the time out of the goodness of wanting them to be better. 

What we talk about in the show though is how we as individuals have to show up, we have to, and I mean we have to show up and meet the universe half way. This is almost like an unwritten law that is out there in the energy world.

Meaning if I want something I have to get up and physically get after it. I cannot however want that something and sleep all day and think it will happen just because I want it to. Again we have to meet it (that want) half way. There are the positive thoughts yes and the vision boards and the desire and all the rest of it, but it's the action part that let's everyone know...ok this is for real.

For myself I have also noticed that maybe 95% of the time unless there is an actual value applied to the "thing" you want or try to achieve or whatever, then we tend to fall back on the old habit of I'll get to that later...why you ask? Well, I personally think its because we at that point have zero skin in the game. 

I can only speak for myself, all the classes and organization and communities that I still belong to after many many years...I pay for them. So I attend not only to better myself but for me if I am paying then I damn well need to show up, and if I show up then I damn well better put forth one hell of an effort, again why...because I work hard for my money so I want the value that I perceive out of it!

So if you are on any path or endeavour please make sure you are all in, that may be financial or that may be mental, but be all in - no half ass. That is the road to failure!

What More Do I Need To Get More? #IYP

So speaking for myself (obviously) the thing I have noticed in myself which has been also manifesting out side of me is the need to add something every time I think something is a little off, and that thing that I usually need to add is something external. Meaning food, or a supplement, love or words from someone else, things like this.

So today at the gym I was asked by someone asked what can I take or what can I add to my eating or what supplement can I take as I am super drained and tired all the time. They mentioned that they were even drinking these (in my humble opinion nasty ass energy boosting drinks...or as I think of them as poison) at least one a day.

So this exact conversation hit me like a ton of bricks. Because as I always mention on this show it's that what is happening out side of us is not separate from us, it's actually a manifestation of what already going on inside us. Wow rite! I know a little wo wo fu fu. 

Facts, and as I listened to this conversation I saw how I think in this exact same way but related to something different. So whenever I feel like maybe something like a cold, or soar throat is setting in...I immediately think what can I reach for (supplement wise)

So the same answer for them rang true as the exact same answer for me. Things like what about stress level, how has sleep been, what have you been eating, what have you been drinking? Water intake or hydration, vitamin D or sunlight exposure...and on and on. Yet we all think that drink, supplement, powder, drug is the answer. 

Coming from a place of lack. When we should be coming from a place of empowerment. We far to often (and I still do) forget the power is our's, not that of what we add. yes it can all aid us but it is not the end all be all, we are!

No Skin In The Game So Why Bother? #IYP

Today we talk about the Why behind our desire's, wants, and goals. So what does it take to get to where we are going. Next on that statement would be why bother if we don't have the follow through...and how do we attain that follow through?

Something that I have personally noticed for myself even is unless there is some type of investment on my end when trying to learn or accomplish something, then I tend to slack off or even just sorta forget about it. That I'll get to it later type deal. I notice this about myself when buying a book I start out strong but when life gets busy or other things come up I put the book off. 

So that then also bring's up accountability and how do we get and how do we strive off of it. 

Again and as always I use myself, my failure's, and my experience as the blue print to moving forward for the Ignite Your Purpose Team. So for example I noticed for myself when taking a class that I pay for I go all in. On that same not when we have put on classes in the classes that are paid for those people taking those classes seem to be involved and be more serious about the outcome.

It is a "thing", if we pay for it (usually not always) we put more effort into it, because ( I think at least) we work hard for that money and it has value to us, so if we spend it on ourselves in the form of education, then we place a certain value on the outcome of what we put that perceived value (the money) into.

Also the next thing that I have noticed would be the accountability. We as a people unless we are uber next level need to be held accountable. If this happen's (again from my own experience and from the classes we have put on) people tend to really show up and their best self comes and play hard ball.

There maybe some type of friendly competition or wanting to prove to someone else we are capable. It's some type of play on our mental state, and from that we tend to shine brighter than if we were to go in solo.

Health Is The Most Important Thing In Life #IYP

There are times you just vibe with someone, times when it seems as if someone or something put that person in front of you, like it was meant to be! This is what happened to me today and in this 2 hour conversation I made a life long friend and now I know it was the universe that placed this guy in my face today.

It started out as small talk (which I can only do for a short time) but this quickly went deep, into a whole bunch of topics that are near and dear to my heart.

Looking back on this, it's almost as if I was talking to myself 20 years in the future (probably the age difference between us) and I was answering my own questions, concerns and putting to sleep some of the doubts and fears that we all hold near and dear to our inner hearts and mind. That's me looking at it from another angel which is also kinda blowing my mind.

Ok back to it. This guy lived the rock star lifestyle "Drug's Sex and Rock and Roll" he owned business that the famous hung out at, was friends with all the right people and was making money hand over fist. 

I do not want to go to deep into that side of it as it was somewhat confidential, but it was the sort of story where you say "oooh I wish I did that or had that as well". Yet he said he was at the top of the mountain and then he lost it all. So he fell form grace, and he could not believe and did not understand how everyone left his side at that time. We have all heard these stories before, rite!

He then climbed his way back up the mountain almost 10 years after the fall, yes it took him that long to try to get back to where he was. Yes, he learned a lot and did not make the same mistakes ever again, and looking back at it with me a younger buck still trying to get where he wants to go. 

How I explained that was; I am amazed and grateful for all that I have and have accomplished but I am no where near where I want to be or am going!

This is what he told me when he was my age he thought it was Wealth on the top of his to do or want list.

He said looking back at it all the high's the low's the up's the down's he said it should always be like this 1. Health 2. Happiness 3. Love 4. Wealth

I kid you not this conversation was like a parenting session and honestly made me feel at ease. I hope this show helps you out a little on seeing what it is that is the MOST IMPORTANT

Surround Yourself With Good People #IYP

Speaking of surrounding yourself with good people today we have been added to PODCOIN, a very cool app where you can listen to Podcasts and get paid...crazy rite!

Ok so for me a lot of my work is done solo, in my studio and in my office and even when out and about I am pretty low key and not around a lot of people. The few times I am are either at the gym and or social events. 

Both those which are very fun and I can get my ya — ya's out, they are not a super deep and impactful time to vibe with people. It's always fun and super positive, but what I am talking about is that higher connection, that being inspired or getting fired up for life and the adventures that await ahead of us type deal.

Now I do think it's a must to be around these types of situations for me anyway I feel the type of work out group I am involved in could not be any more positive on myself my soul and those around me. A group of like minded people who are trying to be better than they were yesterday and at the same time pushing each other to the limits through positivity...very cool experience for real.

But again that's for an hour to an hour and a half, so when for this whole month I was able to vibe basically 24/7 with people who are pushing the limits for themselves and in their respective industries, I mean it was amazing. It was refreshing, it was obviously an energy rush, it was empowering, it was humbling, and it made me want to be better. 

At that point I realized something, I can remember back when, and even now I can feel it when I am around the wrong type of people. There are those who seem to look at the negative all the time (and thats fine) but then compare that feeling you or I get at that point to being around 1 person or a group of people who are high on life and look at things positively and that the planet is full of opportunity.

From my perspective I either feel like I am contracting or expanding, and let's just be honest life is short and our time is very, very valuable. So I choose to be in an expanded state surrounded with people who think the same and have the same goals. So amazing!

Always Remember Where You Came From #IYP

So while away on my healing trip this year, I tossed in a book to take with me, which I had already read the year prior at same time in same place. Weird right. It was just a book about marketing. At that point I thought nothing of it, just something to read while I was relaxing type deal.

Anyway once I picked the book up and looked at it I was sorta put off with myself for taking it with me once I realized I had already read it, and on the same trip the year prior! I saw all my notes, and remembered all my frustrations, doubts, fears, and was like nope won't be reading this, and I thought well maybe instead I'll buy another book.

I left it in my beach bag and there it was the next, I opened the bag after my meditation, walk and gratitude session and was like ok, well let's review this then. Let me get over myself and all the negative memories I have about the book (which were actually just my own personal insecurities in myself of not being where I wanted to be the first time I read it). What do I mean by that...well for example in the first chapter of the book there is a questionnaire and the point to it was to determine the tier and also place you were truly at for marketing your brand (sometimes the truth hurts...the ego)! 

Again as I reviewed my notes I saw that I at that point a year ago out of about 50 points total I was around the 10 points mark, which basically meant I had a ton of grunt work to do before I even began to think about marketing my brand. Which then also as I read the notes I left think of how much I really did not understand what was even in the book (it was way over my head at that point in time). Thus the reason I thought I did not want to read it again.

However I thought well there must be a reason it's here, so let's just roll with it. I was like let me just re read the first chapter and take the test again and see how I feel. So I did. It made way more sense, even inspired me to be honest, lit more of a fire under my ass. Then at the end I re took the test...boom my mark was around 30, which blew me away. I really did have a much greater understanding of all that I had been working on in the last year. 

I mean no where close to where I want to be, but maybe just maybe sometimes we should take a look in the rear view mirror just to remember how far we have come, how much we have learned and how much we have improved. 

For me at least to always look forward sometimes leaves me doubting, so I was happy that I took a moment to review and pat myself on the back for a job well done!

Words Mean Nothing Without Actions #IYP

We have all heard the saying "Talk is Cheap" and for those who listen to the daily show you have also heard me say over and over again that there is a change upon us energetically.

Well, on today's show these 2 worlds collide, yup a situation arises that takes me to the edge and I have to go with what is in my heart with all these new changes and energies. So the story begins almost 7 years ago when I first started putting my time into (and by time I mean my heart and knowledge to help empower and help heal) into this person.

So this beautiful women and amazing person was at that time going through a very difficult time with relationships and her work life. So there was massive weight gain and some slight depression as far as moving on with her life in a positive way.

You have also heard the saying "Fool me once it's on you, fool me twice it's on me," well this is in the end how it all played out for me except it was fool me 10 plus times. So because she was in such a bad place, she had such low expectations and self worth, I understood that it would not be an over night process. At the same time I had no clue she was not really looking to improve but rather to be able to use her issues as an excuse as to why she COULD NOT do it.

So every time this (the falling off the wagon) happened it sorta took the wind out of my sail's, as I was so invested in her and myself. I was not only trying to learn more for her to help but I was also helping myself improve and gain massive knowledge so sort of a win win really...for a while right??

Then the last few years what happened was just weird things like not a word for 7 plus months, then when I did get a call it was this uber high she was on about how good she was doing and how good everything was...then nothing for months again. Then the next call was a super low again and how this and that was the reason for it. So a couple years of this really taught me a lot about myself not so much her. 

Up until this meeting last night...I was blown away with myself not her. It was the same old same old on her behalf, but it was my response and UNDERSTANDING of myself not anyone else that allowed me to make an empowered decision of improvement and self realization of how important our time is and the energy we surround ourselves with is and how we need to get on with what it is we want!!

Fear Of Missing Out Psychology #IYP

I go all in on how I spent my New Years in 2019, and how for the first time ever pretty much I was absolutely beside myself with how perfect it was. As well with how and who I spent it with.

See for me since way back when, like I'm talking grade school I always wanted and maybe even needed to be right there in the mix, not missing out on anything. This weird fear, weird insecurity stayed with me from them until my adult years. Only starting to slow or fade off a little the last few years. 

This day though with all I have been speaking about as far as energy changes, earth changes, earth sign changes and all the other foo foo thing in my mention from time to time, it did not enter my reality at all. I was beyond confident with what I was doing and for once was not worrying / thinking / or in fear of what others could be, maybe, or are doing, or how much fun/gossip/excitement I may have been missing out on!

Wow that is a mouth full to say, and brings back so many anxious memories. I sit here and ask why? Why did I do that to myself? Honestly I do not have an answer other. Other than to say there were obviously things missing inside myself, such as love and confidence to begin with....Thinking that something (such as events, or non important chatter) could make me happy! WTF!! 

All exterior BS that is only momentary as far as being happy is involved, for example if you buy a new pair of shoe's and it makes you happy for that 5 to 45 minutes, then it fades! That's why things such as material or external "THINGS" just can not make us happy. It's up to us to make us happy and that starts inside.

Anyway this last while I have been telling you all, that there has been some monumental shifts happening for us all to be honest weather you feel it or not, it is happening. I feel for me due to my practice I may be a little more in-tune currently (that may change).

So with these changes over the last few moths, on this Day New Years 2019 I was blown away by my inside content and appreciation for where I was and what it was I was doing. I came to this AHA moment where I was like, damn I am living the dream, what else matters? So let's leave it at that!

Progression Energy Times are Changing #IYP

Remember this Today as you listen "today is the first day of the rest of your life" these energies boy oh boy this energies are knocking me all over the road. There are days and times I feel like I just went 12 rounds with Tyson...

So let's talk progression, and by this I mean our day to day progression as we wake up to our real self, our true purpose, or maybe even better would be to say out of the "MATRIX." The most recent cosmic events which were the Solstice, the meteor event, and the full moon all occurring on the same night, now for those of us who understand and believe (not everyone does which is fine, but for me all the ancients pointed out these cosmic events so I tend to give them some thought and reflection) that planets and the universe and earth signs, are very powerful tools and times for us to get our inner work done, or get more understanding and or clarity while in meditation.

As always I use myself as the lab test and I found that for the day prior the night of and the day after I was pretty friggin blissed out, amazing occurrences, and alignments would happen (things like great impromptu meets, some out of the blue opportunities) I was relaxed and nothing and I mean nothing seemed urgent or important, no emotions, just actual being in the moment. It is not often I feel like that for days on end, so it was very cool.

BACK TO REALITY, and then it was over. Again if you follow or believe in the astrology ideal then we changed sign and there is a new planet governing our earth signs, and I mean like that a few days later it all changed massively and abruptly. I was shocked, I felt antsy, I felt short, snappy, like I couldn't control my emotions (thankfully I had 10 years plus of mindfulness and mental studies to help me out or it would have been to much for me personally to handle). Ya in general I was on edge. So I looked up the effects of the cosmic change and astrology chart, and ya for me and us all (although it will effect each person differently) for the next few months and then the next 7 years is the new cycle. 

For myself I am going to have to rely on my mentor for some guidance and answers as I progress into my future self.

What Did the Great TLC say's "I ain't to proud to beg"!! So don't be to proud people as these are going be challenging times for us all! But again those times will lead us to a brighter day ~
