  • 205 - (Season 8) Invisible Patients: Undocumented Immigrants Access to Healthcare

    Our podcast is an advisory on how undocumented Hispanic immigrants can seek mental health care in the United States, as well as a description of the barriers that inhibit them from utilizing the health care system. We include the history of access to medical care for undocumented or uninsured people and the present lack of access to mental health care that affects people today. We also cover determinants that affect undocumented Hispanic immigrants and ways that they can receive help through resources catered to aid uninsured people.
