  • 371 - TheKeys107:December18thTheForgottenDatewithEVAngel MamadeeYhwhnewbn

A special Keys 107 conversation about the 13th Amendment of the US Constitution - has it been forgotten and why? Host Dr. Rafika is joined by Bro. James with special guest EvAngel YHWHnewBN.  EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN is a Minister, Author, Educator, Activist, International Award Winning Poet and Crusader for Children’s Rights.  She spreads the WAO/way-o, WeAreOne Spirit, using a Love Approach to Learning and teaches Violence is a Virus, Don’t Catch It, Don’t Spread It. In 1984, Mamadee founded Global Committee Commemorating King Days, the only organization in the world, that visually affirms and historically preserves the 3 key Principles of the American Civil Rights Renaissance of the 1960’s (1954-1965).  In 1988, Global Committee held the first Integrated Festival in Marquette Park’s History and although, it was co-sponsored by the City of Chicago, she still had to face terror from the Skinheads, Nazis and Klu Klux Klan, who joined forces to stop them from honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 22 years after he was stoned there on 71st Street; bringing Open Housing to Chicago.  Mamadee conceived the idea, wrote the Ordinance and lobbied for 3-1/2 years to resurrect the Legacy of Emmett Louis Till that was buried for 30 years, by naming 71st Street Emmett Till Road (in Chicago, Illinois) after him to teach tolerance and Children’s History.
