This week I am reading from Richard Martini's book 'Close Encounters of the Flipside Kind: How To Phone Home'.
For the past fifteen years, Richard has been filming, recording interviews with people talking to people offstage via hypnotherapy, mediumship or via guided meditation. In this book, Richard interviews people offstage about Aliens - including physicists who have left the stage (Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan) as well as psychiatrists and scientists on the Flipside, (John E Mack, J Allen Hynek) peppering these interviews with personal accounts from people who were "visited by aliens" or who had an experience seeing them on their "council" or seeing them during a guided meditation or via hypnosis. People report the same things - that "we are all aliens" because "we all choose to come here from elsewhere" Mind bending reports. As Gary Schwartz PhD wrote in the foreword to his first book FLIPSIDE, "this is the kind of book where one you've read it, you'll never see the world in the same way again."

The UFO subject appears in all forms of media, and this includes situation comedies. An analysis of the portrayal of the UFO subject in sitcoms reveals some startling and concerning patterns. They say a lot about how we, as a society, view the UFO phenomenon.
THE TWIN CONNECTION
There appears to be a very large number of twins among the contactee population. There are also many cases of disappearing twins. The question is why? Do ETs show a special interest in twins? The answer appears to be, yes!
AN ALIEN BY ANY OTHER NAME
Do aliens have names? There has been very little research into this unusual facet of ET contact. The truth is, ETs often do have names, and they’re not that different from our own. Some names provide some remarkable insights into the ETs themselves.

This week I'm reading from Dr. Michael P. Masters' book 'The Extratempestrial Model'.

In The Extratempestrial Model, Dr. Michael P. Masters posits that UFOs and "Aliens" are our future human descendants, coming back through time to visit and study their own hominin evolutionary past.
As a professor of anthropology, Masters uses an abductive approach to logically infer the best explanation. He examines well-documented abductee experiences in the context of this time travel model, and considers other theories put forth to elucidate this complex and mysterious phenomenon.
While no single model can account for all aspects of these encounters, in considering various contact cases across the world and through time, recurrent patterns emerge that may offer insight into what these objects are, who is inside, and from where—or potentially when—they are coming.

Dr. Michael P. Masters is a professor of biological anthropology at Montana Technological University in Butte, Montana. He received a Ph.D. in Anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2009, where he specialized in hominin evolutionary anatomy, archaeology, and biomedicine.
Recent research examines the premise that UFOs and ‘Aliens’ could be our future-human descendants, returning to visit and study their own evolutionary past. In 2019, he published 'Identified Flying Objects: A Multidisciplinary Scientific Approach to the UFO Phenomenon,' which is a broad-based scientific examination of this idea.

Bonnie Jean Mitchell is a life-long experiencer and contactee. She first saw the star people when I was four years old. It was really bizarre to me then, but I became accustomed to their visits over the years. I saw them throughout my childhood, and they were always friendly toward me. The star people are multidimensional entities who can move in and out of our dimensional space. They come in different shapes and sizes, but most can shape shift their bodies. The star people I am closest with are tall and thin with light-colored, almost white skin. Some have white or blonde hair. If I had to choose a label for them, I would call them Pleiadian, although I realize they are non-physical beings.

When I was 19 years old, the star people became my full-time teachers. At night, they would take my conscious awareness from my physical body and transport it to a vibrational frequency where we could both work together for extended periods of time. I call this place the Alternate Reality. They put me through intense training for about five years. The star people taught me how to use my third eye as a tool to focus and direct energy. I practiced with them and fellow human students in the alternate reality for many years. The book concludes with several chapters on what he believes it all means based on his many experiences, including how it all relates to the afterlife, reincarnation, and our guardian angels.

Bill Rountree appeared to be living a very normal suburban lifestyle in Atlanta, Georgia but at age 11 realized he was being visited by intelligent life from another place or time. Bonnie Jean Mitchell is a life-long experiencer and contactee. She first saw the star people when I was four years old. It was really bizarre to me then, but I became accustomed to their visits over the years. I saw them throughout my childhood, and they were always friendly toward me. The star people are multidimensional entities who can move in and out of our dimensional space. They come in different shapes and sizes, but most can shape shift their bodies. The star people I am closest with are tall and thin with light-colored, almost white skin. Some have white or blonde hair. If I had to choose a label for them, I would call them Pleiadian, although I realize they are non-physical beings.

When I was 19 years old, the star people became my full-time teachers. At night, they would take my conscious awareness from my physical body and transport it to a vibrational frequency where we could both work together for extended periods of time. I call this place the Alternate Reality. They put me through intense training for about five years. They taught me to face my fears and how to defend myself against psychic attack whether from human or alien. At the same time, I dealt with U.S. military trained psychics and military abduction. I was taught that we are in a war; a spiritual battle of epic proportions including factions from this world and other worlds, many of them non-physical but very real and all of us intricately connected.

The star people taught me how to use my third eye as a tool to focus and direct energy. I practiced with them and fellow human students in the alternate reality for many years. I refer to this time as the Star People School. Whoever passed the gauntlet of psychic tests and challenges advanced to the next level of training. I eventually went on to learn how to use subtle energy to manifest reality. The most important reason for all the teaching is the Shift of Consciousness. This week I'm reading from Terry Lovelace's book 'Incident at Devils Den'.

This is my true story. Written by Terry Lovelace, a 64-year-old lawyer and former assistant attorney general. In 2012 a routine X-ray of my leg found an anomalous bit of metal the size of a fingernail with two tiny wires attached. What followed were horrific nightmares, spontaneous recall and intrusive thoughts surrounding a 1977 camping trip I took with a friend to Devils Den State Park in Northern Arkansas. For fear of losing my job and my standing in the legal community, I've kept this secret for 40 years. But the 2012 discovery of this object, one and one-half inches deep in my thigh, initiated a flood of nightmares I could not control.

Terry Lovelace is a six year veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic and EMT from 1973 to 1979. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a law degree from Western Michigan and passed the Michigan State Bar Examination. He was also admitted to the bar in Vermont and the US Territory of American Samoa. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as State’s Attorney for Vermont Board of Medical Practice until his 2012 retirement.
He and a friend were abducted from Devils Den State Park in NW Arkansas in June 1977 while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. What followed were 40+ years of nightmares, phobias, and PTSD-like issues which continue to this day.
In 2012 a routine leg x-ray discovered two anomalous objects in his leg. The x-rays are on his website at terrylovelace.com. That event was his catalyst to write two books and speak publicly about his experiences.

This week I am reading from Karl Svozil's book 'UFOs: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: Observations, Explanations and Speculations'.

Unidentified phenomena in space, in the Earth's atmosphere, and in waters are too important to leave their exploration to the military and scientific laypersons. Their proper scientific study is important for a variety of reasons; in particular, scientists and the public at large need to know the basic facts, to be informed about the way evidence is recorded, and to understand the difference been reliable evidence and fiction, as well as between plausible explanations and fantasy.
With this objective, the book surveys the history of UFO observations, the variety of recorded phenomena, and recounts the efforts of investigative commissions and their published findings.
Although wild rumors are demystified in the process, this is not an exercise in rumor-bashing. An open and at the same time critical mindset is the key. Many narratives and hypothesis appear implausible relative to our present state of knowledge; but this alone should not lead to their outright exclusion. Thus the author also pays attention to UFO sightings that have so far eluded explanation in terms of known physics or meteorology. Here the reader will encounter some of the more speculative but scientifically tenable proposals, for example, relating to sudden zigzag motion without apparent inertia or recognizable propulsion, yet always with a clear guide to their plausibility. You might expect to learn of my advanced degrees in theoretical physics. Or how I’m an expert in geospatial relativity and high-energy particles here. I could present my honorary tenure with European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). As long as I did all of that with my tongue in cheek, you’d likely realize I was having my way with word-smithing the fantastic.
You see, I’m a novelist. Rather than having an academic history in the Sciences, I started with a graphic design degree. Yeah. That was me doodling up the cover and several illustrations within. I parlayed that into a television production career. Over the course of the last twenty years, I advanced into animation, scripting, and then as a Producer/Director way out in the middle of the Pacific. Physics has held a fascination for me. During college, I had enjoyed several “topics in physics” elective classes. They didn’t relate to my degree in the least, but engaged a distinctive side of the brain all the same. Not to mention, if Neil deGrasse Tyson isn’t inclined to step up, then I’m happy fill that vacuum. We are laypeople. And if I can unravel these heady concepts into the realm of what’s possible, then that has value for all of us. Does that make me a UFOlogist? Yes, and no. A UFOlogist is pretty much anyone who studies the topic and shares their research. Just like journalists, there isn’t a UFOlogy certification. On top of that, those that seek to foster the stigma are more than pleased to slather pseudoscience over the term. In that respect, I’d not consider myself any sort of ‘ologist, more of a layperson translator. I’m seeking to advance understanding. At the same time I’d like to push back against the disinformation that overwhelms the topic. As a first time non-fiction author, I’m curious to see if this guidebook will spark something. Should it catch fire, I have plenty more in mind to continue this shared exploration.

This week I am talking to Karl Svozil about his his book 'UFOs: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: Observations, Explanations and Speculations'.

Unidentified phenomena in space, in the Earth's atmosphere, and in waters are too important to leave their exploration to the military and scientific laypersons. Their proper scientific study is important for a variety of reasons; in particular, scientists and the public at large need to know the basic facts, to be informed about the way evidence is recorded, and to understand the difference been reliable evidence and fiction, as well as between plausible explanations and fantasy.
With this objective, the book surveys the history of UFO observations, the variety of recorded phenomena, and recounts the efforts of investigative commissions and their published findings.
Although wild rumors are demystified in the process, this is not an exercise in rumor-bashing. An open and at the same time critical mindset is the key. Many narratives and hypothesis appear implausible relative to our present state of knowledge; but this alone should not lead to their outright exclusion. Thus the author also pays attention to UFO sightings that have so far eluded explanation in terms of known physics or meteorology. Here the reader will encounter some of the more speculative but scientifically tenable proposals, for example, relating to sudden zigzag motion without apparent inertia or recognizable propulsion, yet always with a clear guide to their plausibility. Last but not least, the book outlines plans and suggestions for future research capable of revealing the existence and intentions of extraterrestrial intelligences, outer-space engineers, or technologies so far known only from science fiction.

Two shipyard workers Charles Hickson (age 42) and Calvin Parker (age 18) decided to go fishing on the river after work. Both anglers were not having much luck that night and they thought about calling it a night when something happened that would change their lives forever. A dazzling blue light from behind them illuminated the entire scene. Turning round both men watched in awe as a rugby ball-shaped object descended. A door opened and three bizarre looking humanoid entities glided out across to the two terrified onlookers. Both Parker & Hickson later that night made their way to their local Sherriff’s Department to tell them that they had been abducted by aliens. It wasn’t long before the story found its way into the media and the story went around the world. Charles Hickson readily told his story, but Calvin Parker wanted simply to be left alone. Hickson co-authored a book with William Mendez in 1983 and it wasn’t until 2018 that Calvin Parker finally told his story in full for the first time.

It was Calvin Parker’s book and subsequent publicity that made this case probably the best documented such event on record. It wasn’t necessarily what Calvin Parker related in his two books, but it is what happened when they were published. Much to everyone’s surprise more and more firsthand eyewitnesses began to step forward. A number of these witnesses reported seeing something s few days prior to the Parker/Hickson encounter and others a few days after. UFO sightings were made in and around Pascagoula, Mississippi and in neighbouring states as well. Added to that more eyewitnesses stepped forward with their accounts of what they observed on the very same night, that being October 11th, 1973. Two of these witnesses were quite literally on the other side of the Pascagoula River that night at the very same time as Parker and Hickson were experiencing their close encounter. Not only were they on the other side of the river, but they too have related a sequence of events that could indicate that they two had a similar encounter to the two fishermen on the opposite side of the river. One last thing that has left the authors completely baffled is what could be ‘proof’ of a physical contact with something by Parker and Hickson that night. Both men reported that when the bizarre looking humanoids took hold of them, they felt a king of ‘scratch’ on ‘prick’ similar to an injection. The authors have uncovered a document written on October 13th, 1973, just two days after the encounter, which describes a physical examination of the two men and that ‘puncture wounds’ were located on Charles Hickson’s arm and Calvin Parker’s foot. The document, located in 2018, also mentioned that photographs of these marks were taken. In the file sadly there was no sign of these photographs. In 2021 when this book was being written the authors received an email from a colleague that mentioned he had accidentally found a couple of photos that he thought we would be interested in. The photographs in question were those mentioned in the ‘puncture wounds’ document obtained 3 years earlier and show marks on Charles’s Hickson’s arm and Calvin Parker’s foot. These photos will be published here for the first time ever.

This book concentrates on the independent eyewitness testimony, the puncture wounds evidence, the hypnosis sessions of the new witnesses and of Calvin Parker both of which were conducted exclusively for this book and it is left for the reader to draw their own conclusion.

This week I'm talking to Steve Aspin about his book 'Out of Time: The Intergenerational Abduction Program Explored'.

In Out of Time, author Steve Aspin attempts to write a crossover work about the enduring worldwide reports of alien abduction. It is intended for both those familiar with the historic published case material and the curious reader unfamiliar with the decades of serious research on this superficially improbable phenomenon.
He details his lifelong ET contact experiences and the relationships he built with leading researchers during his years of investigating this phenomenon. He has at all times attempted to approach the subject with critical thoroughness and intellectual rigor.
From stumbling upon a cattle mutilation in Ireland in 1970 to witnessing a UFO after a period of missing time at the age of 16 near Chester in 1972, Steve relates a lifetime of anomalous experiences in his new book. On January 1, 2023, Yvonne reached an important milestone of celebrating 32 years of working with UFO abduction cases.
Yvonne is the author of Chosen: From The Alien Hybrid Program To The Fate Of The Planet; Coronado: The President, The Secret Service and Alien Abductions, a true account about a mass abduction which occurred in 1994. In these books, Yvonne has taken the time to reveal explicit, dramatic and unedited transcripts of clients’ reliving, during hypnotic regression, their recollections of alien encounters and abductions.
Since she felt group therapy would assist in their trauma recovery, Yvonne founded Close Encounter Resource Organization (CERO) in 1992 which conducts monthly meetings to this day.

This week I'm talking to Mark Carlotto about his book 'Not of This World: An Emerging Picture of the UFO Phenomenon'.

The development of radio astronomy in the 1930s provided a means of searching for evidence of intelligent life beyond earth. After more than six decades, SETI has yet to detect an extraterrestrial signal of intelligent origin. Over this same period, thousands of UFO sightings were reported. Until recently, the lack of government transparency on UFOs has led many to believe in cover-ups and conspiracies to keep their existence from the public. This seemed to change with the official release of three videos by the US Navy in April 2020, confirming earlier unofficial reports of military pilots encountering unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). In Not of This World, independent researcher Mark Carlotto examines the most compelling UFO cases on record, including the Gulf Breeze sightings, Space Shuttle videos, videos of crop circles and UFOs, Tic Tacs and other UAP, and a UFO over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. This week I'm talking to Michael Kameron about his book 'High Strangeness: A Lifetime of Alien and Paranormal Encounters'.

Michael Kameron was just an ordinary person who experienced both sides of the paranormal, from alien abductions to encountering strange, mystical beings, stretching back from his childhood right through to his adult life. Having been brought up in the backdrop of a stringent Roman Catholic Irish community in the East-End of London in the 1970’s, it was unthinkable that such unexpected, supernatural encounters could exist at all. He lived in a house plagued by poltergeist activity, encountering spectral visitations from hooded figures.
Throughout his childhood, Michael had been unaware that such experiences were anything other than normal, until he realised that upon reflection, something odd had been happening; that his life was very different from others who considered such supernatural phenomena as totally inexplicable.

It was then that he became aware that his very existence appeared to be working in parallel worlds, and that he was ostensibly living two entirely different lives, rather than one. Over time his normal day-to-day functioning began to be affected by the emergence of non-terrestrial beings, something which had shocked Michael to his core. He knew then that not all was what it seemed, and he struggled to find transparency in ascertaining the facts.

Michael also found it hard to trust people. During his encounters with non-human entities, and having experienced bouts of missing time, he was also an unwitting victim to the infamous ‘Men in Black’ along with military exploitation, out of body experiences, spiritual and psychic confrontations, visions, along with UFO activity.

Michael found it hard to relay his experiences to anyone. Now he feels it is the time to disclose his events in rich detail, if only to help in the healing process and to bring such information to the attention of a wider audience. He has found the inner strength in ascertaining that he is not a victim, but a soul finding his own destiny with the unfolding of his deeply personal confrontations with alternate dimensions of reality.

This week I'm talking to Gari Jones about his book 'The Denbigh Lights: A Truthful Argument For The Existence of UFOs'.

The Denbigh Lights – A Truthful Argument For The Existence Of UFOs by Gari Jones is a detailed account of a UFO sighting that happened in a quiet village in Denbighshire, North Wales on January 3rd, 2012. A family of four in the early hours of the morning at approximately 3 am saw from the upstairs window of their home during a windy, rainy, stormy night, a mystical oval outline that had bright lights coming from its exterior.
Video recordings were made of this object and the local police in the area were also called to try to ascertain what the object might be. Shortly after a local UFO researcher did an initial investigation and discovered some initial evidence that he was convinced that there was no rational explanation for this sighting.

Six years later, the author (Gari Jones) came across the case and in April 2018 conducted an in-depth investigation and put together a video report concluding that indeed this was a genuine UFO sighting with great corroborating evidence.
This book details the full investigation carried out by all concerned. Photo analysis of the video taken that night and one-to-one interviews with all of the witnesses involved. Gari Jones puts together a powerful argument for his conclusion that the object witnessed that night in 2012 remains UNIDENTIFIED and UNEXPLAINED.

Jessie has always been a creative person with a passion for writing, science, history, illustrating, painting, music, film, the paranormal, and cooking/baking. This week I'm talking to Kevin Randle about his book 'The Washington Nationals: Flying Saucers over the Capital'.

In this up dated version of the 2000 book about the sightings over Washington, D.C. in 1952. The Washington Nationals examines the case in depth, adding additional commentary, witness interviews, and new information. The sightings took place on two consecutive Saturdays at what is now the Ronald Reagan National Airport and involved multiple radar confirmation, reports from pilots, both military and civilian, and attempted intercepts by fighters. Although dismissed, officially, as nothing more than a temperature inversion, those involved, including the radar operators, airline and fighter pilots, dispute those conclusions. This examination of the event, along with sightings from other parts of the country and the situations that developed from the presidential interest in UFOs, is one of the most comprehensive studies of that segment of UFO history.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and French from Rhode Island College (1967) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado (1980). Her Master’s Degree in Education is from Leslie College in Boston, Massachusetts (1992). She served as the Principal for The American Overseas School of Rome in 1994 -1995 and taught Ancient History, photo journalism and English there until she returned to the United States in 2007 to pursue her interests in investigative reporting in the field of unidentified phenomena research.

As a widely published, free-lance writer with a strong audience in Europe, Paola has studied unidentified aerial phenomena since 1979 and is on personal terms with leading researchers in the field. From 1980-1986 Dr. J. Allen Hynek entrusted her with his UFO investigations outside the United States. She has published interviews of many military witnesses concerning their experiences. In particular, in 1997, Ms. Harris interviewed Colonel Philip Corso in New Mexico and became his editor and confidante. This week I am talking to Kristi Pederson about her book 'We Are Not Alone: My Extraterrestrial Contact'.

Everyone has pieces of themselves that they keep hidden from the rest of the world. I was one of those people. Usually, the hidden pieces are those things we're not proud of or in which we fear judgment from others if exposed. In my case, it was both.
After a 2010 declaration to part of my family that I would heal no matter what it looked like, my healing journey began by working with childhood wounds. As I worked through family issues, I found my self-confidence growing and my fears diminishing. Courage showed its face. I was giving myself permission to be me.
One of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes is, "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." This quote is humorous but profound, which makes it perfect. As I claimed myself step by step, I noticed less judgment from others and from myself towards others. Each year I uncovered a smidgeon more of who I was and who I wanted to be, but there always seemed to be a stopping point that, if revealed, would feel like I'd crossed the Rubicon or to the point of no return. I wasn't yet brave enough to go beyond that point.
I was a closeted psychic medium most of my life but had been subjected to enough judgment from others when uncensored things would fly out of my mouth. I learned early to keep quiet. It took three years of working with alternative healers to finally claim that part of myself. I knew it was okay to be a psychic medium and that it was a gift I could share with others. I was making progress but still not brave enough to reveal my biggest secret – that I was a contactee, a person who had alien abduction experiences.
Divulging this part of my life gave me pause. I watched the news and listened to reports about UFOs. The people who claimed to have seen a craft were always made to look absurd. For many years, I refused to set myself up to be ridiculed.
However, there comes a time in many people's lives where it just doesn't matter anymore; you must give up and retreat into yourself or you must be brave and stand up for yourself. Gary Heseltine is the founder and editor of UFO Truth Magazine and is based in the UK. Born in 1960, he spent 6 years in the Royal Air Force Police (1983-89) before joining the British Transport Police in 1989. He went on to complete an almost 24 year career before retiring early in 2013 to follow his passion for researching UFOs.

For most of his police service he served as a Detective Constable, working on all manner of enquiries including murder, manslaughter and rape. He became an Advanced police interviewer of witnesses and suspects, and in that specialist role he was involved in the 2005, London Bombings terrorist enquiry, where he interviewed a number of first responding BTP officers, to three of the four crime scenes.

In 2010 he was awarded the PRG Disclosure Award in Washington D.C. for his work with police officers, and in 2012 he was presented with the EXO Politics Great Britain award for his research.
He then appeared at the prestigious 2013 Citizen Hearings, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. USA, speaking on behalf of police officers worldwide.

As one of nine researchers he gave testimony before the Brazilian Senate in June 2022, where he stated that he believed some UFO/UAP events were likely to be extraterrestrial or non-human in origin. Gary is also the Vice President of ICER (International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research), an international NGO comprising scientists, academics and leading UAP researchers with national representatives in 30 countries.

We had friends in Reno, Nevada and about every month we'd make the drive from Vegas to Reno to share a weekend with friends. We always stopped in a little town called Tonopah about half-way to Reno. We'd stretch a bit, get fuel and have dinner. It was called "The Stagecoach." I believe it's still there. On this night we were three hours later than usual because Paul had been tied up at the hospital. After dinner and fuel we got back on the road about 9:00 PM and headed for Reno. About 10 miles out of town we were surprised to see a new store. It was a Christmas store. I had never before seen a store solely devoted to the holiday. The store appeared to be open as there was brilliant white light pouring out of the windows. The whole structure was draped in Christmas tree lights in assorted colors, some blinking and others not. I asked Paul to pull over. We were both mesmerized. He pulled onto the shoulder directly in front of the store. It sat back from the road a ways and the lights were incredible. It was odd. There was no parking lot! It was just sand and sagebrush. We saw no other cars, but someone was inside because we could see motion and movement through the windows. Paul noted there was no driveway for an entrance. I remarked, "Who would build a store without an egress or a parking lot?" We sat on the shoulder of the highway in front of the store for some minutes until Paul said, "This is a waste of time," and he pulled back onto the road. Steve Boucher was born and raised in St.Catharines, Ontario. In the early portion of his life he lived in St.Catharines and also Owen Sound, Ontario. He has also lived in Nanaimo, BC and Gibsons Landing, BC where he spent a lot of time fishing. Steve learned to play the tenor recorder and then the flute and clarinet while living in British Columbia. Today, Steve is a seasoned musician, singer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist having performed with numerous folk, jazz and rock bands over the years. He is also a fine artist having exhibited his pen and ink stipplings, paintings and coloured pencil drawings at local art shows and galleries around the Niagara Peninsula. His work has been sold to customers all over the world. In addition to these talents, he makes his living primarily from his work as a 3D CAD draftsman, having designed architectural buildings, skylights, kitchens and bathrooms for various companies and private customers throughout North America.
He holds two Canadian Patents for inventions in the automobile industry and the wine making industry. Having been married twice, Steve now lives by himself and enjoys spending his time writing and doing artwork and is often called in as a studio musician to add woodwind tracks to other musicians’ CDs. Steve has shared the stage with musicians such as Ron Sexsmith, Neil Peart, Valdy and others. This week I am talking to Charles Lear about his book 'The Flying Saucer Investigators'.

"The Flying Saucer Investigators" is a book of history. It's about the people involved in the mystery of the flying saucers, mostly the investigators, but also the witnesses, some of whom were profoundly affected. The period covered is what has been called "The Golden Age of Flying Saucers," which begins in 1947, after the sighting that year by businessman pilot Kenneth Arnold, and ends in 1969, with the termination of the U.S. Air Force's investigation, which existed for most of its duration as "Project Blue Book."The investigators ranged from kids with saucer clubs to serious-minded individuals with connections in government. There were military personnel assigned to take flying saucer reports and follow up on them, and the U.S. Congress was moved to hear arguments for a federally funded study of flying saucers on two occasions. The history of this "Golden Age" is presented using newsletters, magazines, case files, official documents, newspaper articles, film footage, and archived recordings from television and radio. Some of the cases the investigators looked into are presented using nothing but the facts as they were recorded, without speculation or sensationalism, and even the die-hard skeptic may be left wondering by many of them.

PRG was established in July of 1996 by Stephen Bassett, a political activist and consultant, to advocate in all ways possible for an end to a government imposed truth embargo of the facts surrounding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race – Disclosure.
PRG’s first action was to register as a lobbyist with the House and Senate and provide pro bono representation for a number of research organizations – thus the name Paradigm Research Group.
