Even though I had the knowledge of financial tools and strategies, I just couldn’t seem to implement and I avoided it altogether. When I finally decided to explore my relationship with money and all the thoughts, beliefs and stories that come with it, I started noticing major shifts in my spending patterns. I began feeling less afraid and started feeling calmer and more confident in my financial decisions. And I’m here to share my journey with you!     Today, I'm sharing my conversation with Meg Lefauve, Oscar-nominated screenwriter for the Disney Pixar film, Inside Out.   It was so cool to be able to talk to Meg and learn more about the inner workings of a movie that has had such an impact on me and my parenting journey. We talk about the importance of embracing our inner Anger (especially as women), the power of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, lava, and so much more.  Meg LeFauve is an Oscar-nominated writer and Peabody award-winning producer. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for co-writing the script for Pixar's INSIDE OUT.  She wrote the script for Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR which was nominated for a Golden Globe. In addition, she wrote the story for the MCU live action feature CAPTAIN MARVEL, and wrote the script for Netflix/Cartoon Saloon's MY FATHER'S DRAGON which was nominated for two Annie Awards.     Today I’m chatting with Alison McGrath. Alison is an elementary school adjustment counsel and author of the new book, Walter and the Worry Test.    Alison McGrath is a School Adjustment Counselor who has a passion for teaching coping strategies to students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Alison loves to teach children about growth mindset, self compassion, mindfulness and reframing worry thoughts. She has found the fundamentals of cognitive behavioral therapy to be especially powerful for individuals who have anxiety. Her personal library of books is large and she is a supporter of bibliotherapy.
