This year, Salisbury Beach residents spent $600k out of pocket and trucked in 15,000 tons of sand for protective dunes only for half of it to be washed away in the last month. Plum Island has also been facing extreme erosion in the last couple of years, seeing some of their homes get destroyed by the ocean. We heard from you.

A proposal was floated last week by Bay State Transportation Secretary Monica Tibbits-Nutt about adding tolls to the state’s borders as a way to fund transit systems throughout Massachusetts. The idea was met with backlash including backlash from NH Gov. Chris Sununu, who did not take too kindly to the idea saying it was another way to “unnecessarily take your money.” MA Gov.
