The defendant claims the plaintiffs cracked the bathroom sink and ruined the floors and walls, so he has every right to withhold the plaintiffs’ security deposit. Plus, the plaintiff purchased a car from the defendant. When he brought it home, the plaintiff says the check engine light turned on, so he asked the defendant to repair it for free like he agreed to do. However, the plaintiff says the defendant refused to fix the car, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff got a 50/50 warranty, so he is supposed to pay for half the repairs.
