An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - Pastor Spencer shares a sobering message on being prepared and alert for as it was in the Days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of Christ!  At that time, people were going about their business, marrying, and feasting.  Then, suddenly!  The flood!  The world thinks they have the answers.  Let us not forget saints that the ungodly desires and lusts of this world will surely pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17). We live in a global culture in which good is called bad and bad is called good.  If it feels right, it must be right the world says.  But, God saints!  But, God!  As children of God, let us be led by the Holy Spirit and He will always lead us in Truth and Holiness in accordance with the Scriptures for without Holiness, no one will see the Lord!  (Heb 12:14)  Jesus Christ is coming back!  Are you ready?

An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - In this season of Lent, Pastor Spencer challenges believers to hear what God is saying and obey.  Salvation is a free gift which is to be received by Faith.  It can not be earned through our works and yet it is not cheap.  Depth in God will cost us.  In fact, it has cost many believers their very lives, true followers of Christ.  Jesus taught that if any person wants to be a disciple, let him deny self and take up his cross and follow Him (Matt 16:24).  Quite the contrary to what the world system teaches.  Let us grow in our thinking as God's children and draw closer to Him than ever before through the disciplines of the Christian faith such as fasting.  Will you join me?

An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - God desires intimacy!  We who were once separated from the Father because of our sins have now been brought near by the blood of Jesus Christ, the last Adam.  Eden has been restored and we don't need to wait til we get to Heaven to experience it.  Paradise is in each believer by the Holy Spirit.  Sweet fellowship with God.  Intimacy.  Is this a reality in your life?  Come near to God and He will come near to you!

An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - Faithful is He to complete that which He has called us to.  "Abram believed God and it was credited to Him as Righteousness" (Rom 4:3).  

Righteousness is a gift from God.  We cannot earn it by our so called "good deeds."  Before a Holy God, our best is like filthy rags.  So, we rest in the finished work of Jesus on the cross.  "It is truly finished" (John 19:30).  Those who BELIEVE God have been justified and declared Righteous in Christ.  We are clothed with a Robe of Righteousness.  Now, this is good news for the weary of heart, those in need of a physician.  Circumcise our hearts, Oh Lord.  We want you.

Sunday's Word of Inspiration - Pastor Spencer shares from John 6.  The Israelites in the Old Testament ate the manna from heaven God provided in the wilderness and were satisfied for a time, but as New Testament Christians we are blessed with the true bread from heaven in the person of Jesus Christ.  In Christ, we will never go hungry again.  I challenge you Child of God to eat the Word of God daily, the Holy Scriptures and truly live!  Turn to Jesus for He is our Only Hope in these troubled times.  He is the answer!  He is the Faithful friend you have been looking for all your life!

God promised us the gift of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament (Joel 2:28) and we see the fulfillment of this Word in Acts 2 when Jesus' disciples were filled with Power from on high as they waited together in expectation.  Do you find yourself feeling empty, weak or hopeless?  Be encouraged.  God has not abandoned you.  Maybe it's time to tarry a bit in His Presence.  Wait a little while longer so you can be strengthened in your inner man by the Holy Spirit.  God's Purpose still stands and you will be stronger than ever before!  Just lean on Jesus and you can't go wrong.  It's not over!  You are an Overcomer in Christ!  So, be ye filled!

(Matt 21:9).  On this Palm Sunday, we are reminded of our King's triumphant entry into Jerusalem riding on a colt as his followers praised Him.  This is a time to reflect on the great sufferings of Christ even as we rejoice in His Resurrection.  Our King is Alive!  We Worship Him in the Beauty of Holiness.

Sunday's Word of Inspiration - "There is coming a Time and NOW IS when the true worshippers shall worship in Spirit and Truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him." (John 4:23).  NOW is that TIME.  Will the TRUE worshippers arise?  Jesus spoke of a Time when God's Spirit would indwell all believers.  Those who desire to would be able to connect and fellowship with Him anywhere, no longer limited to a physical place or temple for our bodies would be the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.  How blessed are we to be a part of the fulfillment of that promise!  For in Christ, we are sealed with the Holy Ghost and are not limited in our worship to God by external circumstances or trials for what can separate us from His Love?  So, be encouraged saints.  You are a carrier of God's Presence and Power.  Now, go and change your world!
