March and April of 2022 was a little bit better than the previous months and here’s how………

It has been one hell of a ride!! From October 2021 to October 2022. Who knew that after my rebranding party of last year that I was the one who was really going to go through the transformation!! It's been a year and a half since I posted a podcast and I had to come back with with D'Angelo as my co-host!! We had to bring to it back. So much has changed in a year!! I am introducing to you all a new me. We are going to take each episode to take talk about each 12 months leading up to now !!

Well we did it!! We finally fried beignets! Beignets is a dessert enjoyed by most New Orleanians here in the U.S. We decided to bring this New Orlean's tradition here to Birmingham and test it out!! Yes, the first few rounds did not go as planned but once I figured it out I thought 🤔 to myself " hey we can give this another go next week" in part two!! In this episode I added chocolate chips to my pecan pie!! I always thought that the chocolate pecan pies were considered as a "Georgia pecan pie" but I did a little research and found out chocolate chips and a pecan pie is just nothing but a chocolate pecan pie 🤦🤦!! In this episode we are just talking about our past Thanksgiving experience and a bit of other things!! This episode is Not FOR CHILDREN!!! We are just two people having a conversation while having dinner!! I did something light in this episode. I cook scallops with spinach and I prepared a side of collard greens. I season the scallops and the spinach with a little salt and pepper and sauteed it in some butter. We also talk about a lot of alcohol usage and I highly encourage people to not drink heavy and also do not drink and drive!! Please drink in moderation and stay safe in one place!!

In this episode I share my sweet potatoes pie with my baby 😍! He gives me his honest opinion about how he feels about my sweet potato pie and I tell him the steps that I took to perfect it!! We finally did it!!!! We finally did the second version of the keto cheesecake!! Now I must admit, I couldn't remember the name of the keto sugar that we used in this particular cheesecake but I will definitely make sure I look it up and we will have the name for you in the next episode, bourbon sweet potato pie!! This is more of a story time. Today I decided to post this episode it is August 20th and I was approved for a new car. My transmission went out on my Ford 2 weeks prior and I had a wedding cake due 2 weeks after the incident!! In this episode I just wanted to make a PSA . Some clients may not realize that after the cake leaves the shop or the cake maker's hands it's their responsibility to ensure that their cake stays delicious and presentable. Tune is as I give my opinion on what you should do when receiving your cake and days after your cake, to keep your cake delicious.

In this episode I wanted to talk about one of my techniques that I use to ensure stability icing my cakes. Frozen cakes make it easier to ice and decorate your cakes before they are placed in the hands of the customer. So I invited a friend to do the podcast with me!!
