September offers a little bit of balance with sweet, Venusian energy before rockiness begins towards the end of the month of September and into October.

Venus shifted into Libra on September 2nd. Venus in Libra is well supported and promotes harmony, balance, beauty, and fairness within our relationships. The New Moon in Purva Phalguni amplified this Venusian quality and reminds us that creativity cannot always be forced.. sometimes we must slow down, soften, and become receptive before inspiration can find us.

This can sharpen the analytical mind and support communication, organization, discernment, and precision. 507 - A Conversation on Ketu with Six Black Dogs

Today, we begin by catching up on major global events. Due to requests, we discuss the devastating disaster in Nepal and the passing of our beloved Dolly Parton. Both stories reflect themes that feel especially connected to Ketu. With Sun, Mercury, and Ketu in Magha (governed by Ketu), it truly demonstrates loss, separation, and impermanence.

From there, we take a deeper look at Ketu. Ketu is associated with detachment, moksha, liberation, intuition, spiritual insight, and past life karma. Its placement in the birth chart can reveal where we possess awareness and familiarity, but may also experience disconnection, discontentment, or a desire to transcend worldly matters.

We also explore Ketu in transit. Ketu transits can often coincide with abrupt separations, accidents, confusion, and unsettling experiences.... but also deepen perception, nostalgia, and the return of people, memories, or unresolved matters from the past.

Akshaya Tritiya is coming up on April 19th, which is traditionally associated with long-term growth and lasting results. Actions taken now are believed to have staying power. Akshaya Tritya lands on a day of intensity this year, so be sure to focus on Dharma, Service, and Sincerity.

Hi everyone! I have been so busy with the holiday season, planning a new business, and keeping up with current work! I've been having so much fun... and thank you for understanding the late podcast! I thought that sharing some of the MOST EXCITING and supportive transits for 2026 would be a short and sweet way to encourage the biggest New Year's resolutions. Today we discuss two periods that have a Saraswati Yoga. This is when Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury all transit the same sign. Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, education, music, art, and refinement. Though, because she is a goddess, she also represents wealth and beauty! She is usually depicted riding a swan and holding a veena. This is one of the most auspicious and beautiful yogas, in my opinion!

This period of time is BEAUTIFUL for new ventures, launching programs, publishing a good, or announcing good news.

I've been witnessing individuals who are spiritually confused, longing, or uncertain. It seems that there is a pull away from "woo woo" spirituality, and a draw towards religions with more structure and regulations. (Has anyone else seen the rise in Christianity?)

While I believe more people will be searching for meaning through things like astrology and tarot, I believe people are burning out on the "get rich quick" approach of some spiritual leaders.

Saturn is rules, regulations, discipline, and consistency.

Neptune is illusion, idealism, and dreaminess.

These two planets joining forces will impact us all differently on a personal level... Some may be having "ah ha" moments, seeing a situation for what it is, or experience a crack in rose colored glasses.

Others may be feeling confused, aimless, or stuck in a rut and unsure on how to move forward.

Globally, we will see chaos and confusion with rules, structure, and government. Saturn is the government, after all.

The truth will feel more elusive as accusations get thrown around.

With so much confusion and uncertainty, this gives a beautiful opportunity to tap into Viveka, or discernment, the compass of the heart.

Covid, 9/11, the beginning of escalation between Israel and Palestine - Mars and Ketu were conjunct in every incident.

Mars and Ketu are notorious for stirring controversy and bringing about dangerous accidents or attacks. From mountaineering accidents to sting ray tragedies - we see this combination again and again act as a catalyst.

How can WE best move through this time with grace?

In addition to Mars/Ketu, we will see Saturn and Neptune conjunct in the same degree. We have already seen a terrible oil spill off the coast of Kerala, let's hope that there is nothing else like this!

This week we spend more time exploring relationship, compatibility, and synastry in Vedic Astrology - with one of my favorite teachers, Dr. Andrew Foss.

As Dr. Foss mentions in the segment, life is complex! Therefore it only makes sense that astrology and synastry can be equally as complicated as we learn to decode the stars.

Dr. Foss shares practical ways to utilize Vedic Astrology and spirituality that can help us better understand compatibility between charts and synergy between people. In our conversation, we also explore how to view and approach relationship in a way that promotes overall healing, understanding, and compassion in connection. Finally, we discuss karmic connections, Rahu, Ketu, and what "binds us" in love.
