On the evening of November 5, 1975, a logging crew finished work in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona and started the drive home. Seven men got into the truck on that mountain. Six of them came back down.

His name was Travis Walton. He was twenty-two years old, and he was the one who got out of the truck. What the other six did in the next ninety seconds, and what they told the police that night, opened five days that this case has never closed.

This is his account, and the account of the men who were standing there. We follow what Walton described in his 1978 book The Walton Experience, we lay the documented record beside it, the search parties, the sworn statements, the tests all of them were put through, and we let you decide where the line falls.

For five days there was nothing. No body, no tracks, no trace, in country that does not usually keep a man hidden that long. Then a phone rang late at night in Heber, and the voice on the other end was asking to be picked up.

What he said had happened in those five days, he has repeated for fifty years. We go through it the way he told it, slowly, in order, and without adding anything to it.

Why did six grown men drive away and leave one of their own lying on the ground? What did investigators find at that site afterward, and what did they not find? And why is this still the one abduction case that even the people who dismiss it have to work hardest to explain?

There is no craft, no photograph, no piece of physical evidence. What there is: six other men who saw something, a missing person search across a mountain, and a set of test results people are still arguing about half a century later. This is testimony, not proof, and we say so at every turn.

On 10 May 1978, a 71-year-old farmer was driving his horse cart home through eastern Poland when two small figures climbed up and sat down beside him.

His name was Jan Wolski. They were about a metre and a half tall, in black one-piece suits with hoods, with green faces, slanted eyes and prominent cheekbones, and they communicated in sharp whistling sounds he could not place. He drove roughly three hundred metres with them on the cart. Then he saw the object. Silvery, hanging four or five metres above a field, in daylight, in open country.

By his account, what happened inside took only minutes. He was asked, without words, to undress. He was examined with a device he could only describe as two small plates. And there were birds in the craft, crows or jackdaws, alive but half paralysed and unable to move properly.

That is where the case becomes something else. Lieutenant Stanislaw Plis, commander of the militia post at Opole Lubelskie, inspected the site, questioned Wolski, and concluded he had dreamt the entire episode. Wolski was then examined medically and psychologically, and the psychiatrist Dr Ryszard Krasilewicz concluded he was not fabricating anything and was in normal psychological health. Two official findings exist. They contradict each other. Neither was ever revised.

There is a serious case against the story. In his 2013 book Tajne operacje. PRL i UFO, Bartosz Rdultowski argued the episode was staged, that Wolski was hypnotised and given false memories in order to discredit the UFO researcher Zbigniew Blania-Bolnar. The strongest part of his work does not rest on that theory. He documented that Blania-Bolnar introduced invented details into the account as it was written up, including webbed fingers on the figures. Rdultowski also acknowledged he had no direct proof that Wolski was ever hypnotised, the family of the man he named denied any such involvement, and the television programme at the centre of his reconstruction was never broadcast.

What the case left behind is unusual for a farmer's story. A television documentary in 1978. A comic strip drawn by Grzegorz Rosinski, published in Relax. A monument by the artist Andrzej Fogtt, a metal cube balanced on a pedestal, unveiled in the centre of the village in 2005. A Netflix series built on the case in 2025.

Why would a man known in his village for being straightforward invent this at seventy one and never change a word of it? Why do the militia file and the medical file still say opposite things about the same morning? And out of everything he described, why is it always the birds that people remember?

Jan Wolski told it the same way until he died in 1990, and never asked for anything in return.

In February 1989, a New Zealand car dealer left home for what should have been a routine three hour drive. He arrived ten days later, so disoriented that he sat in a diner and watched other people to remember how to hold a knife and fork.

His name was Alec Newald. His wristwatch had stopped at 10:30 in the morning. So had the clock in his car. He had no memory of where the ten days had gone. What he says happened inside that gap became a book, an investigation, and one man's claim to the ultimate truth about where humanity really came from.

By his account, he was taken aboard a vessel by tall blue grey beings with wide violet eyes, guided by one who called herself Zeena. They did not speak. Thoughts arrived in colour and tone, and their counting was built on twelve, not ten. He describes a small dying world called Haven, a place with no money, no animals, and a silence so complete it unsettled him. He even met a human woman who had chosen never to come home.

And he says he was shown the reason for all of it. That evolution, in his words, is a myth. That humanity was designed, shaped and watched over by an older race once mistaken for gods. That the pyramids at Giza were left as a message in stone. That a later force altered our DNA, set us back, and learned to feed on human fear, first through priests, then through law. And that even the Moon in our sky may not be the original one.

Then there are the men who came looking. Two visitors from a real New Zealand government agency, a card from a London institute, and someone who entered his home and took only two small crystals and a handful of drawings he did not remember making.

Why would anyone break into a house for a used car and a sketchbook? What did they mean when they told him we were made, not evolved? And why does his account keep returning to the same warning, that something has been feeding on our fear for a very long time?

The Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction case is one of the most famous and controversial UFO encounters in history. On September 19, 1961, Betty and Barney Hill reported a close encounter with a UFO in New Hampshire, followed by approximately two hours of unexplained missing time. Their story would later become known as one of the first widely documented alien abduction cases in the United States.

But there is a part of the Betty and Barney Hill story that is often overshadowed by their famous hypnosis sessions: records of the UFO encounter existed years before the hypnosis began.

In this documentary, we investigate the original 1961 Betty and Barney Hill UFO case, beginning with their drive along Route 3 in New Hampshire and the strange object they said followed their car.

Within days of the encounter, the Hills contacted Pease Air Force Base. An Air Force report was created and eventually forwarded to Project Blue Book, the U.S. Air Force program responsible for investigating UFO reports. Weeks later, NICAP investigator Walter Webb spent approximately six hours interviewing Betty and Barney and documenting their account.

The hypnosis sessions that made the alleged abduction famous did not begin until 1964.We examine the timeline and evidence surrounding the case, including the original UFO sighting, the missing two hours, the early reports, Betty Hill's dress, her written dream accounts, the Project Blue Book investigation, the later hypnosis sessions and psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon's own interpretation of what Betty and Barney remembered.

In 1988, South Florida businessman Jim Sparks says something began happening to him that would continue for years. He claimed he was taken repeatedly by beings he described as Grays — so many times that eventually, he stopped counting.

What makes Sparks's account unusual is what he says happened as those encounters continued. He maintained that he remembered the experiences consciously, without relying on hypnotic regression, and that over time the nature of the encounters began to change.

According to Sparks, the beings initially subjected him to examinations and experiences he resisted. But as the years passed, he says they began communicating with him more directly. They gave him information, assigned him tasks, and eventually delivered a message that he came to believe was meant for more than one man.

Sparks later documented his account in The Keepers: An Alien Message for the Human Race. He described beings he called “The Keepers,” repeated encounters stretching across years, and warnings concerning humanity, the environment, and the future of Earth.

Why, according to Sparks, did the same beings keep returning to him? What did he believe they wanted humanity to understand? And why deliver a message through someone who would have almost no way to prove where it came from?

This is Jim Sparks's account, and only his. Throughout this investigation, we separate what Sparks reported from what can independently be established. His extraordinary claims are not proof that extraterrestrial beings abducted him or communicated with him, and the experiences he described remain unverified.

But Sparks continued telling the story publicly and eventually put it into a book. What he claimed happened across those years — and what he believed the beings ultimately wanted from us — is the subject of this investigation.

Moments later, Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker claimed they were taken from the riverbank by three bizarre beings and brought aboard.Hours later, the two men walked into the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and told police what had happened. So after questioning them, they left Hickson and Parker alone in an interview room — with a recorder still running.The men didn’t know they were being recorded.What police captured became one of the most unusual pieces of evidence associated with an alleged alien abduction case. Instead of dropping the story once they believed they were alone, Hickson and Parker continued talking about the encounter, with Parker reportedly terrified by what had happened and Hickson trying to make sense of what they had just experienced.

That decision created the detail that still separates Pascagoula from most alleged abduction stories. The sheriff’s department had a way to hear what the witnesses would say when they thought nobody was listening.Why did their story continue after the officers left the room? What can the recording actually tell us about their state of mind that night? And after more than fifty years, does it make their extraordinary account any more credible?None of this proves that Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were abducted by extraterrestrial beings, and the recording itself cannot establish what caused their apparent distress. In July 1947, a nurse held a hand that was not human - for forty minutes, alone, in a hangar outside Roswell. Then she was reassigned, transferred without a destination, and left no trace in any record the Army kept.Her name was Margaret Ellen Reyes. Her diary, forty-three handwritten pages, surfaced twenty-seven years later, in an unlabeled cardboard box at an estate sale in Albuquerque. Inside is an account that matches nothing in the official history of Roswell Army Air Field: a gray-skinned being, four feet tall, four fingers to a hand, eyes entirely black. A grip she described not as reflex, but as recognition. And one word she wrote down, then crossed out, a word she couldn't say whether she'd chosen, or simply been given.

This isn't a story we're asking you to take on faith. It's a claim we put under pressure, piece by piece:

• The chain of custody — from an estate sale, through a garage in Flagstaff, to a locked drawer in Santa Fe and why everyone who ever held the original diary is now dead or silent.

• GAO report NSIAD-95-187, which confirms Roswell Army Air Field's personnel records from 1945–1949 were destroyed, with no proper record of who authorized it.

• Staff Sergeant Milton Sprouse, on the record, recounting that two doctors and two nurses examined recovered bodies and were transferred out within days.

• A recurring pattern of medical staff, almost always nurses, removed from the record after proximity to the incident including a reported but still-unverified 1949 reassignment of fourteen personnel across the Southwest.

Why do the nurses, specifically, vanish? Why does a trained surgical observer record physiological detail with the flatness of a clinical note instead of the flourish of invention? And when everything that could prove the diary real keeps disappearing alongside it, what does it mean that the parts we can check line up more than they fall apart? Her final entry reads only: "I am to be transferred. No destination given. I leave Wednesday."Then nothing. The silence around that July night is now closer to eighty years old than seventy. This is what's left inside the box.
