My encounter took place in 2019, during one of the most unstable and emotionally difficult periods of my life. By that point, I had already lived through events most people would struggle to process — witnessing violence as a child, being relocated across the country, losing the only family I had ever known, and then watching my home burn to the ground.

My twin brother Logan and I returned to the family farm in Arkansas hoping to rebuild what our grandfather had spent his life creating.
