Moonbin is one of our favourite humans, and we wanted to take the time to celebrate his life with you.

It’s been an incredibly heartbreaking and difficult week for many of us, and in our grief, we thought of sharing some of our favourite moments with Moonbin, hoping that we would be able to shed a little positive ray of sunshine in his memory. He is one of the sweetest, compassionate, wholesome, and lovable souls. We feel extremely lucky to have been able to witness his incredible talent and infectious smile, even if it was only through a screen.

We hope you’re all coping ok, sending all our love to Aroha’s, to Moonbin's family, and to Astro.

To Moonbin, we hope you’re shining up there are much as you did on earth, we love you & we miss you 💜🤍

It's that time of the year... for the ABSOLUTE WORST MONTH IN KPOP. The October Curse is real. 

So much has happened this month that we literally couldn't cover it all but we tried our best to give you the main news stories that happened, from VICTON and ONEUS losing a member, the usual dating rumors, OMEGA X's situation, tour dates getting cancelled, concert promoters being incompetent... We noticed that A LOT of KPOP songs sample Classical music these days... LITERALLY ALMOST EVERY TITLE TRACK!

So we decided to explore some of the KPOP that sample the OG sunbaenims; Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and so much more... Turns out this is not new at all, as KPOP's been doing that since the 90s!! 

Also heads up - we tried so hard to sound sophisticated and cultured in this episode and it just ended up with us sounding like absolute idiots. Marah’s ult band VICTON announced Chan will be leaving the group so we decided to have a little therapy session for her to let all her emotions out... Literally it's mainly Marah crying about the whole thing :')

Just to clarify - please dont confuse the sadness over Chan leaving the group with us excusing his behavior. At the end of the day every single person here deals with stress, grief, and disappointment differently, and this is our way of doing it. 

Dont ever feel silly for feeling a strong emotion about KPOP - KPOP's a source of comfort and form of escapism from every day life for a lot of us, so it gets extremely hard when that source of comfort becomes THE source of stress - emotions tend to get all over the place. So everything you are feeling is completely valid <3

In light of recent events with Cube Entertainment's (G)I-DLE, we decided to do a little story time of how Cube has dealt with major scandals in the past. From the sudden disbandment of 4Minute, BEAST's exit, Dawn and Hyuna's Dating Scandal, the ghosting of Yanan, the negligence of CLC, to  Soojin's departure. From Laila's ultimate band making a comeback to us discovering that the Podcast may or may not have spooky powers O_O  Join us as we recap all the main news stories and comebacks from June. Naturally the episode will take a chaotic turn as we completely lost our minds over all the comebacks this month! Back with part two with our second gen experts and friends, Lois and Clarissa! We talked about even more 2nd gen KPOP groups that helped reshape KPOP as we know it today, and how these groups are the actual idols and inspiration of a lot of our current faves! Some of us accidentally exposed some ~delulu~ confessions, which is not out of the ordinary at this point. In this episode we talked about Sistar, Highlight aka Beast, After School, BigBang, and Super Junior.

To celebrate all the recent and upcoming 2nd gen comebacks, we invited our 2nd Generation experts and good friends Lois and Clarissa! We discussed some of the major bands that reshaped KPOP as we know it, because let's be honest, as 3rd and 4th gen KPOP fans, we sometimes tend to forget just how big and impactful 2nd Generation really was... AND STILL IS! So this episode may be educational for some -and for others- a trip down memory lane. LET'S GOOO!

Reminiscing on how KPOP helped us personally during lockdown exactly a year ago; we discuss lost jobs, health scares, emotional support KPOP Idols, music, and overall moments that kept us moving forward while having our lives (and everyone else's) be put on hold... and we may have gotten a little bit emosh... JUST A LITTLE BIT.

It's time for another quick recap! What we thought was a relatively quiet month turned out to be a quite eventful one.
