The Labour Party has scrapped Covid vaccine mandates, so Blake Sebastian from NZRTS went out on the streets to hear what the people had to say.

The Court made its decision that the Swearing In Ceremony done by FAST Party under the tent outside of the Parliament House on the 24th of May 2021 was unlawful.

The now government (FAST Party) found a way to go through with the Swearing In Ceremony on the 24th of May 2021 for its 26 members despite the doors of the Parliament House being locked.

First time in the history of politics in Samoa to lock the doors of the Fale Fono (Parliament House) on the day the 17th Parliament was suppose to convene. The selected government at the time (FAST Party) were locked outside together with the Judges of Samoa's Judiciary.

Despite the many confusion on who has the authority to make the final decision on whether to hold another election for the nation, the Leader of FAST Party and now Prime Minister of Samoa Fiame Naomi Mataafa reassured that there is no need for another election.

In 2021 Samoa went through a rollercoaster with its election. One of the many arguments was the additional seat for women in Parliament and the Head of State's call to hold another election.
