A man named Luke originally reached out to the show on behalf of his younger brother. His brother Keegan left home to hitchhike and travel the country, which eventually turned into living on the street for years. When the family finally got Keegan off the street, he had many stories, but there was one in particular that he was nervous and afraid to discuss, involving a mysterious group called "The Chicken Whackers". This story was very different from our normal submissions, which is why we liked it. This first part is mostly Keegan's backstory, what it's like living on the street, and how dangerous it can be. A woman named Christine suffered from a multitude of mysterious physical health issues. For years, no doctor could figure out what was wrong with her. As a result, her mental health took a turn, and depression sank in. During this time, she began waking up in what she called "the void". She would find herself in a black space, experiencing time pass, but not dreaming. Soon, she felt terror in this space and eventually began to be attacked by something in this void. All of these things compounded on each other and became too much to bear until one night changed it all. Eilish had just called 911 and first responders were en route to her house. She had just witnessed a very incredible series of events where she was shown a fast series of moments from her life and then was visited by 3 people she knows who passed away. One of those people was a murder victim herself and pushed Eilish up off the ground into a position where she was able to find her cell phone and call 911. Gabi Abrão grew up with a Brazilian father who believes everything in the physical world is connected to the spiritual. When Gabi and her sister would lose a toy, he taught them to call upon a deity that commands "the souls of the spirit children" for help finding the item. In high school, she had a health teacher who secretly did psychic experiments with the students. A man named Alex had a prolonged and terrifying encounter with what he believes to be Bigfoot. But this story is very different from what most of us are probably used to when we think of the infamous Cryptid, and it raises questions about what Bigfoot could possibly be. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Alex needed an escape and decided to go camping in the Uwharrie National Forest by himself. The park was closed and off-limits, but he found a very isolated spot and hiked in all by himself to set up camp. Upon entering the woods, he described an electric static feeling coming over his body—a sense of crossing over a veil—and started to experience what can only be described as telepathic impressions. Over the course of the day and night, Alex experienced a series of bizarre and terrifying events that left him confused and traumatized. Only later, after researching what happened to him, did he learn that these things are all connected to the sightings of Bigfoot. During his childhood, Alec experienced a peculiar phenomenon where he would find himself outside of his own body at night. Upon awakening, he would observe his sleeping form before embarking on a journey to explore his own home. Initially, this activity was enjoyable, but he was apprehensive about entering a specific area downstairs, sensing an ominous presence beckoning him toward it. Eventually, he mustered the courage to venture into that area, only to be tormented by an entity for several hours, a haunting experience that persisted into his teenage years. Alec now believes the entity that tormented him in his childhood was The Night Hag or The Old Hag. This is a supernatural creature that shows up in almost every country and culture around the world, going back very far into history. Robert, a self-described Atheist, was diagnosed with CIDP as a baby. CIPD is a rare and incapacitating disorder, which confined him to a wheelchair and left him living in children's hospitals throughout his childhood. Despite medical professionals deeming it impossible for him to walk, Robert defied the odds and achieved a miraculous recovery. His family believes this recovery may be linked to a vision of the Virgin Mary that Robert experienced shortly before. Meredith continues her story from Episode 17, this time she finally discusses the event she originally emailed me about. Her cell phone began making calls and sending typing messages on its own. Eventually, it began happening to the phones of people close to her. This week features two different stories from people who believe they had something otherworldly protecting them as children.  The first story comes from twins Seth and Kendra. Sean Johns and his wife Gina are both Romani, an ethnic group many people know by term the derogatory term "Gypsy". The Romani people are a very misunderstood, extremely spiritual, and heavily persecuted group of people. Sean and Gina are also 5th Generation psychics—something that is handed down from generation to generation and is deeply intertwined into their heritage, to the point that it is just how they see the world and could not imagine it any other way.  They run a psychic shop in the Chicago/Indiana area and help anyone and everyone who comes through the door with a problem that other experts can't solve. When people are dealing with something they can't bring to the police or to a priest, they come to Sean and Gina. These two have seen a lot of wild stuff, but one day a woman walked in that gave them such horrible evil energy that they forced her to leave. Chance was hiking with his dad and cousin while on vacation in Hawaii as a teenager. They had just visited the Kilauea Iki Crater and were headed back up when he decided to try to run ahead. Kareem emailed Otherworld months ago saying that he was sexually assaulted by a Djinn (a mysterious entity known in Islamic culture, known in western narratives as the Genie). Initially I thought this email was a joke... but by pure chance I met Kareem in person and realized that the story was very serious.  After becoming enthralled by the idea of the Djinn, Kareem welcomed the presence of the trickster spirit into his life. This opened the floodgates to supernatural experiences, including seeing fireless smoke appear in his home, an unexplained phenomenon in Egypt, and eventually accumulating into a physical attack.
