A remark calling us to embrace the complexity and nuanced variety of one's identity.

    Poem:

Who am I and what does it mean to be "I"

    “I”dentity.

I identify, to simplify – the complexity of me.

I am black. I am white. I am blue. I am green.

One hue enough to describe my variety.

    Yet again,

    Every color comes with shades,

    Every shade with depth.

    Deepening our understanding of “I”.

Displaying an accurate portrayal of “me”.

More than just green or blue

I am light green blended with dark blue.

    Purple combined with pink.

    Transcending beyond mere monochrome.
