In this episode, counsellor Kaz Amos, discusses mother/daughter relationships with host, Mel Histon, and why they are not always the loving, positive relationship we want or expect them to be.

Sun, 06 Jun 2021 - 278 - Watch Ya Language: How words can mess up or lift up our lives
Words are the creator; the creator of our universe, our lives, our reality. Without words, a thought
can never become a reality. It can be argued that the real power to shape our lives lies in our words
we speak. It is our words that provide a bold affirmation of our innermost thoughts. They are a
confirmation to the world of how we see others, our lives and ourselves. It is this powerful
affirmation that our words provide which enables our thoughts to manifest into a reality.
In this episode, yogi and author of ‘Watch Ya Language’, Meg Linton, talks about how we can either
harness or misuse our most powerful asset, through sharing her own story of trauma to self-
discovery.

Host, Mel Histon, and guests, Rebecca Gibson and Alexandra Joy, discuss what your intuition actually is, how to access it and determine whether what we are feeling is fear or intuition.

Sun, 27 Dec 2020 - 255 - Surviving a narcissistic parent
A narcissistic parent can be defined as someone who lives through, is possessive of, and/or engages in marginalizing competition with their child. In a narcissistic parenting relationship, the child is rarely loved just for being herself or himself. People are accessories to them, and little more than a disposable means to meet their own ends.
In this episode, Counsellor and psychotherapist, Kaz Amos, and ‘Hey Soul Sista’ host and CEO of ‘Got Your Back Sista’ charity, Mel Histon, talk about how to survive a narcissistic parent!

On an amazing career trajectory as a Chef, at two of the world’s top restaurants - The Ledbury and Bennelong, Jordan Hartley suddenly found herself unable to work and struggling with her declining mental health after suffering a workplace injury. Being told her career as a chef was over was a devastating blow to Jordan; however, it started her on a new journey of health, competitive body-building and creating her own super-successful meal prepping company ‘Jordan Hartley Health’, helping clients reach their body composition and weight loss goals. An Instagram influencer, Jordan has also become an advocate for mental health for young people.
