Music

DJ EKG (Miroslav Ecker) comes from Nitra, where his musical journey began. He has been active as a professional DJ since 2003. He is known for genre-diverse sets with a clear musical progression, seamlessly blending current trends with timeless dance music, always focusing on energy and atmosphere. With more than 20 years on the scene, DJ EKG has established himself as one of the most in-demand DJs in Slovakia. In 2015, he became the only DJ in Slovakia to present an official DJ record with the EKG Solo project — a continuous 12-hour DJ set. He has performed in top clubs across the Slovak and Czech scenes, including Ministry of Fun (Banská Bystrica), Epic Club (Prague), and the summer event venue Motel Kamenec. Since 2017, he has also been actively involved in event production and event management. That same year, he founded the Sunset Boulevard project, inspired by Ibiza, introducing the concept of daytime electronic music events at exceptional locations across Slovakia — from mountain resorts to historic landmarks, including Spiš Castle, Nitra Castle, and, since 2024, Bratislava Castle. In 2021, he launched a regular radio show on Europa 2, where he presents the latest music trends and exclusive DJ mixes together with Milan Lieskovský. In 2024, DJ EKG launched a new project, The Coffee Club, together with Marko Mazaga — a concept of daytime DJ sessions at unconventional locations, aimed at a fresh audience and connecting electronic music with modern urban lifestyle. In addition, he works as a PR manager, marketer, and active creator of various events and concepts across Slovakia. His sound is defined by a blend of progressive dance elements, expressive vocals, and energetic beats. V roku 2021 odštartoval pravidelnú rádio show na stanici Europa 2, kde spolu s Milanom Lieskovským predstavuje nové hudobné trendy a exkluzívne DJ mixy. V roku 2024 spúšťa DJ EKG spolu s Marko Mazaga nový projekt The Coffee Club – koncept denných hraní na netradičných miestach, zameraný na fresh publikum a prepojenie elektronickej hudby s moderným mestským lifestyleom. Taktiež je PR managerom, marketerom a aktivnym kreatorom roznych eventov a konceptov na Slovensku Jeho sound charakterizuje zmes progresívnych tanečných prvkov, výrazných vokálov a energických beatov.
