Happy May the Fourth! This month we dive into our Star Wars fandom and discuss the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Return of the Jedi. Find out which one of us had Darth Vader sign one of our two (!) casts, who grew up watching episodes 4 and 6 exclusively, and which one is all about the collecting. The answers may surprise you. We offer our thoughts of Contra Costa Con 5 and their offerings from this year and have a suggestion to go out and visit the Sharpsteen Museum before the Star Wars exhibit makes the jump to hyperspeed and closes on May 5. We also mention an upcoming event to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

We searched for eggs and found an Ewok, spotted ducklings while chaperoning some ducklings, and had some tasty treats. Aloooooooha! This month Tina and Julia discuss recent trips. Tina brings back news from the islands and talks about visiting Aulani in person as a day guest. Julia turns her RunDisney woes around with a fun trip to Disneyland and experiencing some of the fun new offerings including Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway in Toon Town.

This month we are talking about the return of RunDisney races to Disneyland park, MouseCon Bakersfield, and the kick off of Disney100 at Disneyland. Tina and Julia are in training to run around Disneyland next January during the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend. Registration opens February 14th for the general public. Jeff then gives his reports of attending MouseCon Bakersfield as well as being in the parks on the opening day of the Disney100 celebration and his experience and first thoughts of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. We also talk about some exciting merchandise that will be hitting stores throughout the year. Do you have your eye on anything?
