21-year-old Independence, Missouri substitute teacher Caleb Eyde is facing federal charges—but the arrest is only part of this story.

In this Truth Comes Out Tuesday deep dive, Red Flags & Body Bags goes back before the federal case.

More than two years before his arrest, Eyde posted publicly about getting a tattoo containing the initials of children he knew through an A+ mentoring program. He wrote about seeing the children every day, thinking about them “night and day,” and said the experience helped lead him toward becoming a teacher.

But after RFBB covered that tattoo, people who say they knew, worked with, or encountered Eyde began speaking up.

37-year-old Sean Michael Cunningham disappeared from Carters Lake in Georgia on July 28, 2026, during a severe storm. His last known communication came at approximately 11:26 p.m., when he called a friend and said he was sheltering underneath a dock because strong winds were making it difficult to paddle his canoe. His phone was running out of battery. He was never heard from again.

Sean’s backpack was later recovered by kayakers, and his truck was located near the lake. According to reporting, his backpack was found near the dam and contained identification that helped authorities connect it to Sean. Investigators then began trying to retrace his movements.

But one major piece remains missing: Sean’s green Old Town canoe.

Multiple agencies searched Carters Lake and the surrounding shoreline using boats, drones, sonar and K-9 teams. Sean’s family also traveled to Georgia to assist investigators in retracing his final known movements.

A fisherman later discovered a hat that Sean’s family believes may have belonged to him, although authorities have not publicly confirmed that connection.

Jordan Tompkins was only 25 years old when she disappeared from the Lakehills area of Bandera County, Texas, in April 2022.

Jordan was reportedly last seen walking near Park Road 37 after leaving the area of the Medina Lake Country Club Bar and Grill. She was wearing a black top, a wig, and bright-pink lace-up tennis shoes. She has never been seen or heard from again.

In this Missing Monday episode, we look at Jordan’s final known movements, the searches conducted for her, the other disappearances and deaths that caused concern in Bandera County, the jailhouse letter that named a possible suspect, the wig found during a later anniversary walk, and the many questions that still remain.

Although some of the people involved reportedly knew one another, law enforcement has not confirmed that the cases are connected. No one has been arrested or charged in Jordan’s disappearance.

Jordan is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes, short blonde or dark-blonde hair, pierced ears, and several tattoos, including a music-note tattoo on her leg. She was also known to wear wigs.

On May 28, 2026, 22-year-old Destany Dacota Carlyle disappeared from Salisbury, North Carolina, and has not been seen or heard from since.
According to investigators, Destany was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on May 28 while staying with a family member in Salisbury. Since that day, her family says there have been no phone calls, no text messages, and no social media activity—something they describe as completely out of character.
Authorities have classified Destany as an Endangered Missing Person because she reportedly has a medical condition requiring medication. The specific condition has not been publicly released.

She was a mother seeking spiritual enlightenment in a remote Colorado mountain town… then she vanished after disclosing a horrific a******.

In December 2020, a black duffle bag was discovered in the woods near a highway rest area in Lincoln County, Oregon. Inside were the remains of a child--unidentified, unseen, and unknown.

For nearly a year, investigators searched for her name.

When advanced DNA genealogy finally identified her as 9-year-old Haley Mae Coblentz, the case took an even darker turn: Haley had never been reported missing. She wasn't enrolled in school. She wasn't in the system. And no one had raised the alarm when she disappeared.
