Today, we'd like to recommend The Harbingers.

https://www.audaciousmachinecreative.com/

Adam Blackwell is the most powerful man in the world. But he hasn't always been. Five years ago he was just a humble grad student at Sinclair University. How did he go from a nobody to the world's first modern magician? And once he got that power, what has he done with it?

Be advised: this episode contains depictions of drinking and smoking, as well as strong language and discussions of politics. It also contains mentions, though not depictions, of violence, death, war crimes, the Holocaust, and a large-scale disaster. Listener discretion is advised.

The Harbingers was created by Gabriel Urbina. Today's episode was written by Gabriel Urbina, directed and sound designed by Jeffrey Nils Gardner, and executive produced by Eleanor Hyde. It featured the voices of Andrés Enriquez as Adam Blackwell, Lauren Grace Thompson as Amy Stirling, Emmy Bean as Claudia Skinner, and Kristen DiMercurio as Erica Pfeiffer. It also featured the voice of Olivia Love-Hatlestad. The original music for the series is by Nicholas Podany, and the original art is by Cassie J. Allen. Recording engineering and dialogue editing by Zhuolin Wu. This is an Audacious Machine production.

Something visits Lucas’ dreams, and that visitor won’t let go. A tally counter could be the key to containing it, but TRU is stretched thin with a packed week at the office. It’s still watching. Don’t. Stop. Clicking.

This episode was created based on Clickolding, a narrative clicker game by Strange Scaffold. We highly recommend you play the game, as well as the studio's newest game "Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?!" with our very own Nichole Goodnight, links below. Hey all! We're taking a week off to make sure the next episodes of REDACTED are as good as possible, so instead we wanted to recommend a show that we've been enjoying, Last Dance:

Last Dance is a dark fantasy audio drama podcast.

The Great South was alone. A small rock formed atop the bones of dead gods and leviathans, drifting within an endless ocean. People left to their own petty wars and dogmas. But now, from that same ocean, comes a wave of death in the form of savage invaders, striking without cause against the Eightfold House of Holy Ichors and its 8 Bleeding Monks.

In the wake of their eradication, a battlefield scavenger by the name of Jericho Raeke goes picking through the remnants and discovers something that puts him, and his unlikely allies, at the centre of the conflict. Last Dance is produced in Belfast and has a full cast of Northern Irish voices, with guest stars including David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and James Mackenzie (CBBC’s Raven).

Jericho Raeke, an enslaved scavenger who stalks battlefields in search of forgotten treasures, is sent on his most dangerous, and potentially lucrative hunt yet.

Starring:

Michael Ellen Sean as Jericho Raeke

Caelan Stow as Cullen Lathurna

Rónán Hamill as Brother Orr

Eimear Lugh Devlin as Caelin Angali

And featuring Colette Hart as The Dredger

Additional voices:

Andrew McCracken as Fitz

Max Blair as Temperer Preacher

Written and directed by Max Blair

In 2005, Sam and Dean Winchester set off on a road trip that would save the world and change television. For fifteen seasons and three hundred and twenty-seven episodes, the CW’s Supernatural (created by Eric Kripke) took audiences on a wild ride of family, fate, and faith with a rocking soundtrack and a seriously cool car. But that was then, and now … it’s time for another ride.

Join hosts Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley/God) and Richard Speight Jr (Gabriel and director of many episodes) for Supernatural: Then and Now, a winding road trip through every episode of this iconic series, one by one, every week, with guests each episode from the cast and crew that made the wild ride possible.

Buckle up for guests including Jared Padalecki (Sam), Jensen Ackles (Dean), and Robert Singer (Executive producer), as well as many many more.

"It's so great to have Felicia Day back on the podcast! Her portrayal of Charlie Bradbury is an important brick in the wall of Supernatural. She discusses working with Bob Singer, the incident on set that made her leave her body, and working with Robbie Thompson. She also discusses her new book! Rob and Rick learn about dream-hacking."

Following the death of his twin, failing actor Jacob Kane assumes his late-brother’s life in hopes of a fresh start. Instead of finding stability, Jacob finds himself working within The [REDACTED] Unit, a covert agency tasked with containing impossible creatures and phenomena. As he becomes entangled with paranormal forces and secret agendas, Jacob begins to discover a sense of belonging in a place he never expected.

Equal parts horror and workplace comedy, [REDACTED] takes inspiration from late 90s & early 2000s television like procedural monster-of-the-week shows X-files & Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the classic ensemble banter of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Psych.

Structured as a supernatural procedural, [REDACTED] invites new listeners to either jump into a wild ride with the latest release, or from start from episode 1 to get the full story that ties our characters together.

Welcome to The [REDACTED] Unit.

[REDACTED] follows Jacob (Jamie Petronis), a struggling actor who, desperate for a fresh start, assumes the identity of his deceased twin, Jordan. Expecting a simple accounting job, he instead finds himself accidentally in an underfunded secret government agency called THE REDACTED UNIT, tasked with discreetly handling bizarre and often dangerous paranormal cases.

‍As Jacob settles into his role, he begins to unravel the unsettling truths around his brother’s death. What begins as an act of reinvention slowly becomes a desperate descent into a treacherous web of paranormal forces, secret agendas, and moral compromise.

‍

This multi-season, monster-of-the-week series follows Jacob as he fights to keep his cover while facing terrifying threats known as "Aberrations."
