Particularly a woman who spoke on behalf of the enslaved people and another who survived being thrown overboard.

That it's important to provide a glimpse into the strength and resilience of Black people in particular who fought against the oppressive system of slavery. In this episode of TBB Talks, Una chats with Hannah-Azieb Pool, the CEO of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and founder of the Tottenham Literature Festival.
The festival runs until 20th November, with evening talks during the week and a full day of talks and activities on the weekend. The keynote speaker on Saturday is Travis Alabanza, and Sunday is dedicated to children’s literature. There are also digital events to enjoy. The festival plans to give out 1,000 free books over the course of the festival and in Tottenham libraries in the coming weeks.

Matiki Anoff is a British-Ghanaian is a BAFTA / Oscar award-winning makeup artist who currently resides in New York.
Having an enviable body of work that includes Spike Lee's classics Do The Right Thing & Mo' Better Blues. And films featuring Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, and Halle Berry and Denzel Washington.
Matiki recently won a BAFTA and was part of the Oscar-winning Hair & Makeup team for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom starring Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Boseman.

We spoke to British Nigerian actor, writer, director O-T Fagbenle, back in February 2020 pre-Lockdown.
At the time he was filming season 4 of The Handmaid's Tale where he continues his role as Luke, Offred's husband and father of her daughter pre-Gilead. He'd just been announced as Rick Mason in Marvel's Black Widow and he was getting ready for the release of his Channel 4 comedy show Maxxx which he wrote, exec-produced, and starred in.
Because of lockdown Maxxx's release was pushed at the latter end of 2020 - available to watch via Channel 4
The Handmaid's Tale season 4 is complete and will air April 28th 2021 on Hulu
