Being in a new and different environment is tough, especially if it's far away from what is familiar to you. Daniel and and his friends found themselves in a foreign land, and many of the teachings they were taught at home were threatened. But regardless of that, they remained standing, they stood for God and stayed true to what they had been taught. The student who is far away finds themselves in that same situation, whereby they are in a different place to which they are not used to and the values and teachings they have been taught are threatened at every turn. On March 19th we are planning a career expo for the community of Lamontville, we want to expose them to a variety of careers which are out there, just to broaden their perspectives and give them something to aspire towards as they continue with their studies. We do realize that many young people in townships/rural areas aren't exposed to information regarding career opportunities out there besides the obvious ones which are relatively known and so we want to give them that information and help shape the future of South Africa because you can only build a better tomorrow with the people of today. Relationships and dating. This is something which is hardly spoken about at church but it's something most young people are exposed to.  Many of us have no idea what to do as Christians when it comes to relationships and dating and so we just follow the world's standards and ideals of dating.  However that's not the right way to go, as Christians we are supposed to do things differently, the right way, Christ's way. As a matter of fact, the friends who you keep can be a blessing or a curse to you.  Rehoboam lost most of his kingdom because of his friends while David's life was spared because of his friend, so it's not just about having friends but it's about what kind of friends you have.  Would you say you have the right kind of friends? In Genesis 1 God does something interesting, when He creates He first identifies what He is creating then He gives it, its mission. Which means that to God, identity precedes mission; which means if you don't know yourself then you won't know what your mission is and as a result you won't be able to fulfill God's will. You can't know God's will if you don't know who God is, to know Him is to know His will. But it is useless to know God if you don't have a relationship with Him because if you don't have a relationship with Him then you won't want to do His will even if you know what it is. Sounds complicated? Well it isn't, you can ask Enoch who walked with God for 300 years and had a solid relationship with him. But since Enoch is not here we are here to tell you all about how you can walk with God and build that solid relationship with God. God bless you

In Jeremiah 29:11 God tells us that He has a plan for our lives, but what is this plan and how do we fulfill it?
