    Dr. McNary has her BA and MA degrees from Stanford University and her MD from Tulane University. From there, she completed her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, where her training included women’s mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, and couples and family therapy.

    Welcome to episode 380 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to welcome Lauren Streicher, MD an expert in women's health and menopause. In this episode we discuss the common changes women face during perimenopause and menopause, including genital urinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), painful intercourse, diminished libido, and hot flashes.  

     

    Dr. Streicher emphasizes that while menopause brings various challenges, effective solutions exist for each symptom.
