Another visit back to Oshkosh, when a residential investigation from a few years ago yielded some strange results.  A native American, a guy in a bear tooth necklace, an old man and his dog all figure into this weird, but fascinating experience.

What do Al Capone, Bugsy Moran, the St Valentine's Day Massacre, and a gas chamber chair have in common...lately? They are all represented in the Mob Museum of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Settle down, hear the stories, and listen to actual recordings made on an after-hours ghost investigation in the strangely fascinating historic old building that presents a haunted past.   PLEASE NOTE: I goofed in mentioning the location. It is NOT off the Strip, but a block or two off FREMONT STREET downtown.

Built in the late 19th century, the Oshkosh Grand Opera House has hosted many celebrities and other luminaries from Vaudeville, opera, and early theater.  Later on, it was converted into a movie theater, but as the years went by, the building was falling into disrepair.  A citizen committee formed and succeeded in getting it onto historic registers. The building and theater were restored to beautiful condition and are now utilized regularly for events and concerts.  I'm sure the ghosts love it.  Check into this podcast for a little ghostly history from the Sawdust City, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and their jewel called the Grand Opera House.

Introducing the Second Hand Shop of Stoughton, Wisconsin.  Located in building much more than a century old, it boasts the presence of several ghosts, including the rather talkative woman-hater, Simon.

Check in on what happened during our four investigations there.

The building is also currently for sale, so if you are interested in buying a haunted building in a very nice little southern Wisconsin town, this is your chance!

Peshtigo, Wisconsin is just a few miles from the Michigan state line. It is a small town, with a history of logging and lumber mills.  October 8, 1871 (I think I call it 1876 in the podcast),  was the night of the Great Chicago Fire, but not many people know that it was also the night of the Great Peshtigo Fire, which had far greater loss of life and was spread across Wisconsin and Michigan.  This is the story of one house in Peshtigo.
