We're back with another round of Am I The Bastard?, where questionable choices, awkward situations, and interpersonal chaos are put before the panel for judgment.

This week, we've got cosplay concerns, an unusually noticeable wardrobe situation, and a rideshare driver who apparently has no interest in keeping the peace.

🎭 Story #1 — Cosplay Concerns

A man finds himself worrying about what his friends might think about another friend's cosplay activities. But when does concern about someone's hobbies become concern about what other people think of you for associating with them?

👖 Story #2 — The Pants Problem

A man shows up to work with a rather... noticeable situation going on in his pants. What begins as an awkward wardrobe issue quickly raises questions among his coworkers—and leaves us asking whether the real problem is the pants, the workplace, or everyone's reaction to them.

🚗 Story #3 — Small-Town Rideshare Chaos

A rideshare driver enters the picture and somehow manages to create a whole lot of chaos in a small town. What exactly happened, and is the driver responsible for the fallout—or are the locals making a bigger deal out of it than they should?

Welcome to the first episode of Am I The Bastard?, where we take real-life conflicts, questionable decisions, and questionable people and ask the question that matters most: Am I The Bastard?

This week, we're kicking things off with three stories that prove everyday life can get weird in a hurry.

☕ Story #1 — Starbucks Showdown

A woman causes a scene while waiting in line at Starbucks, leaving us to decide whether she was justified—or whether she crossed the line.

🐕 Story #2 — The Dog Schedule

A neighbor makes an unusual request involving the neighborhood dogs. Is it a reasonable attempt to solve a problem, or is this neighbor getting far too involved in someone else's life?

🦇 Story #3 — Batman in the Bedroom

A bedroom encounter takes an unexpected turn when one person compares their partner to a Batman villain. Was it harmless humor, an insult, or something that should have stayed unsaid?

Three stories. Three judgments. And, as always, you get to decide who the bastard is.

In this high-stakes episode, brutal combat and explosive secrets collide as Angus locked in a fight to the death with Korganne, who reveals mid-battle that he is actually a Cregan dispatched by Angus's sister. While skeleton minions lie defeated and Varulle remains passed out from the fray, a stunned Doctor Jeremiah watches the brawl unfold while processing the horrifying revelation that Henry "Punk Noodles" is his half-brother. The warrior Verek suddenly pops into the chaotic scene just as Angus turns the tide, binding Korganne in a tangle of vines to end the combat. With the immediate threat subdued and family revelations hanging in the air, the group gathers together to wrap up the chaos by reviewing the iconic 1968 classic horror film, Rosemary's Baby.

The Recasting Call: Clue

Six strangers. One mysterious mansion. A handful of suspiciously colorful characters. And, of course… murder.

For this episode of The Recasting Call, Freddie, Kate, and two special guests step inside the halls of Clue, the 1985 comedy classic where Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, and Mrs. Peacock are all gathered for what turns into one very deadly dinner party.

But we're not here to solve the original mystery.

We're here to recast it.

The rules are simple: throw out the original cast and build a brand-new ensemble for the movie. Who should take on the role of the mysterious Colonel Mustard? Who has the perfect combination of charm and suspicion to play Miss Scarlet? And who could possibly replace the wonderfully chaotic performances that made the original movie such a cult favorite?

As always, Freddie and Kate bring their own casting rules, questionable logic, strong opinions, and plenty of arguments to the table.

So grab your candlestick, head to the library, and prepare to make your accusations.

Welcome back, fellow adventurers, to another chaotic chapter where our brave heroes prove once again that tactical brilliance is strictly optional! In this episode, the party decides that the best way to handle their latest crisis is to completely copy Flinth's signature swagger—a disaster of epic proportions that leaves everyone thoroughly embarrassed and Flinth questioning all of his life choices. After barely surviving a bruised-ego beatdown and a brawl with a gang of overly enthusiastic lizardfolk, our battered crew completes the ultimate victory lap by sliding right back down into the damp, reeking sewers. Poor Flinth just can't catch a break; tuned in for the glory, stayed for the smell!

This month on The Recasting Call, Kate takes over hosting duties as she & Freddie tackle her movie pick, the 1965 dark comedy How to Murder Your Wife.

Originally starring Jack Lemmon as Stanley Ford, a happily single comic-strip artist whose carefully ordered bachelor life gets turned upside down when a drunken night ends with him married to a woman he barely knows. Naturally, Stanley handles the situation in the healthiest way possible: by turning his marital frustrations into material for his comic strip... including a very detailed plan for murdering his wife.

So, naturally, we're bringing it back for 2026.

Who takes over the Jack Lemmon role? What survives the jump from 1965 to today? And what probably really shouldn't?

Then, as a little bonus for the audience, Freddie shares something considerably more romantic—a song he wrote for his wife, produced by previous Recasting Call guest CJ Plain.

Shaking off the impact (and their dignity), the group presses on, drawn deeper into the sewers by an eerie, echoing moan. What starts as curiosity quickly turns into tension, an oppressive and unsettling sound hints that something is very wrong beneath the city streets.

That tension comes to a head when the party discovers a goblin trapped in a brutal torture device. What follows is less a heroic rescue and more a drawn-out moral debate. Can the goblin be trusted? Is freeing it the right thing to do—or a terrible mistake waiting to happen? As opinions clash, the group reveals more about themselves than they might expect, blurring the line between pragmatism and compassion.

With physical comedy, creeping dread, and ethical dilemmas all in one session, this episode perfectly captures the unpredictable spirit of the party—and leaves listeners wondering whether their biggest threat is the dungeon… or their own decisions.

The shadows lengthen over the Dessarin Valley as the siege of Red Larch reaches a fever pitch. In this pulse-pounding episode, the party is forced to split their strengths to survive the night. Drakhan and Varulle stand as a final, bloody line of defense, holding the barricades against a relentless tide of snarling lycan forces. Their steel and sorcery are all that keep the village from being completely overrun, but as the screams of the pack echo through the streets, it becomes clear that even their bravery has a limit.

While the front lines hold, Flinth, Belladonna, and Renzor embark on a desperate heist into the heart of the village. They race toward the town hall in search of the only thing that can turn the tide: a cache of silver weaponry. Amidst the smoke of the burning village, they encounter a mysterious Aarakocra, an eagle-like humanoid whose sky-high perspective reveals a horror yet unseen. As the buildings crumble into ash, the sinister Cregan weaves through the wreckage, cruelly possessing the bodies of dying villagers to bolster his own dark ranks. The air is thick with soot and betrayal—will our heroes find the silver in time, or will Red Larch become a graveyard of cinders?

Varulle’s "friendship" with the serpent-tattooed cultist was a masterclass in lethal charm—a calculated dance of shared flasks and whispered lies designed to map the path to their inner sanctum. The ruse was working perfectly until the air shattered with the unmistakable roar of Renzor’s steel and Belladonna’s jagged incantations. Their "rescue" attempt, though noble in its misguided fury, instantly vaporized Varulle’s cover, turning a subtle infiltration into a chaotic bloodbath. Now, the trio finds themselves backed against the soot-stained walls of a crumbling tavern, the deceptive warmth of friendship replaced by the searing heat of a village in flames.

As Redlarch burns around them, the "mysterious friend" has vanished into the smoke, replaced by a tide of hooded zealots emerging from the shadows. Survival now demands a frantic, unscripted synergy: Varulle weaving through the embers to parry lunging blades, Renzor acting as a bulwark against the mounting cultist press, and Belladonna desperately channeling magic to hold back the encroaching inferno. To escape the cinders of Redlarch, they must fight not as separate entities, but as a single, desperate flame flickering against the dark.
