Akiva Turgeman, known professionally as Akiva, is an Israeli singer-songwriter renowned for his fusion of traditional Jewish themes with contemporary music styles. Born in 1991 in Dimona, Israel, he is the son of Rabbi David Turgeman, head of the Gevoha Yeshiva, and hails from a family instrumental in founding Dimona. 

Akiva’s musical journey began at the Mizmor Music Academy, where he honed his singing and songwriting skills. Following his studies, he served as a combat soldier in the IDF’s Golani Brigade. Natan Sharansky is a remarkable figure whose life story embodies the triumph of the human spirit in the face of adversity. Born Anatoly Borisovich Shcharansky on January 20, 1948, in Donetsk, Ukraine (formerly part of the Soviet Union), he later changed his name to Natan Sharansky. Sharansky's journey began as a gifted mathematician and chess player, which led him to pursue a career in science. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he became deeply involved in the Soviet dissident movement during the 1970s, advocating for human rights and freedom of expression. In 1977, Sharansky was arrested by the KGB on fabricated charges of espionage and treason. He was subjected to intense interrogations and endured nine years of imprisonment, including long periods of solitary confinement. 

Despite the harsh conditions, Sharansky remained steadfast in his commitment to his beliefs, becoming an iconic symbol of resistance against Soviet oppression. Sharansky's plight gained international attention, and he became a cause célèbre for human rights organizations and activists around the world. His wife, Avital, spearheaded an international campaign advocating for his release, and their love story became a symbol of resilience and unwavering commitment. Finally, in 1986, after years of international pressure and negotiations, Sharansky was released as part of a high-profile prisoner exchange between the United States and the Soviet Union. His arrival in Israel marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. In Israel, Sharansky became an influential political leader and advocate for democracy and human rights. 

He served as a Member of Knesset (the Israeli parliament) and held several ministerial positions, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade. Sharansky's extraordinary journey from prisoner to statesman has made him a sought-after speaker and an inspiration to people from all walks of life. He has written several books, including his memoir "Fear No Evil," which chronicles his experiences and his unwavering commitment to freedom. 

Today, Natan Sharansky continues to be a passionate advocate for democracy, human rights, and the State of Israel. Darryl Eugene Strawberry (born March 12, 1962) is an American former professional baseball right fielder and author who played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Strawberry, who was nicknamed The Straw Man or Straw, helped lead the New York Mets to a World Series championship in 1986 and the New York Yankees to two World Series championships in 1996 and 1999. 

After battling cocaine and alcohol addiction throughout much of his famed baseball career, Darryl Strawberry has now been clean and sober for the last 11 years. Not only is he now committed to helping others beat their own addictions, he’s even started a treatment center to help facilitate the movement.

United Hatzalah of Israel is an independent, non-profit, fully-volunteer emergency medical services organization that provides fast and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel.

Bernie Marcus is a well-known American businessman and philanthropist. He was born on May 12, 1929, in Newark, New Jersey. Marcus co-founded the home improvement retail giant Home Depot in 1978, along with Arthur Blank, and served as the company's first CEO until 1997. 

Under his leadership, Home Depot grew to become the largest home improvement retailer in the United States, with more than 2,200 stores worldwide. Marcus is also a noted philanthropist, having donated millions of dollars to various charitable causes over the years. In 2004, he founded the Marcus Foundation, which provides support for programs and initiatives in education, medical research, and community development.
