This week we explore the music of DSB. A British based band, previously known as the Dan Sowerby band. Digging into the roots of the blues and performing many live shows around the UK, the band became recognised by plenty of scouts and critics. But then the pandemic struck, and like many bands and musicians, this was a time to reflect. Dan remodelled the band and took a step forward developing the bandit an alternative rock stroke blues keeping some of those raw elements of the roots, but expressing his talent as a song writer and musician.Now the DSB, they have their own genre, carving out of this new stage....I enjoyed their music and look forward to catching up with them very soon. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Francis and River from Wht.rbbt.obj yes that's not a typo that's code, for truly amazing musicians. I have reviewed a lot of bands and music over the years, but these guys really stand out to me, because well I suppose they push the genre of blues rock, and soul and fuse it together to create their very own unique sound. Gigging and working always pushing and not giving up or taking no for an answer, is kind of what they're about. So this week on the Get Twisted show here on Ride Time Radio 102 FM Tenerife we explore some new bands and are very happy to find the band The Interuppters. This unique blend of Punk, Ska, and Rock, for me, works really well, but it's not just the genre. It is the band, and female singer Aimee Interrupter delivers the tracks and lyrics with attitude. Watching her perform live on some YouTube material I was very impressed and could see that she's a very talented artist, and loves performing to a live crowd. So my old friend Harley Davidson is 120 years old...wow what a journey I have been on with this brand. I do really feel that if you cut me I would bleed Harley Davidson...I am and have been in love with these motorcycles for a very long time. We celebrated in style, meeting in Las Americas Tenerife with a huge turnout of Harley Davidson lovers. It was an amazing start to what would be an incredible day. We organized the group and then took a parade through the streets of Las Americas, Fannabe, La Caleta before heading to the West Coast. It was a fantastic route, that took us along the coast through amazing villages and small towns. Then we hit the Treehouse Bar and Grill in Chayofa with a great menu and an amazing band The Bad Bone Stompers...These guys are fantastic. If you like Rock and Blues, then these guys are who you need to see when you're in Tenerife. They offer the very best live music and vibe. It's all over....can you believe thats another year done, and the Volcano Hunt is done. So much work goes into this day, and it seems to be over in a flash. My family worked so hard together on the day, and all the planning and preparation was worth it to see so many people enjoying the event. The venue was great, although we filled it several times, and tables were scarce, the overflow into the surrounding other venues was well worth it. We really enjoyed every part of it, and a big thank you to all the sponsors and judges from around Tenerife for helping out on the day and making this event happen. This week we make the final preparations for the Volcano Hunt 2023. The only motorcycle show and event in Tenerife. The event will start on Saturday the 6th of May at the set meeting point. We are expecting a wild turnout for this year's hunt, enjoying the bikes entering competitions and the gathering of Tenerifes Motorcycle Communities.. As always the Hunt commences at midday, when the horns are sounded, and we begin hunting the volcanoes and volcanic landscapes of the island. The run is a scenic route, enjoyed by spectators and riders as this huge mass of motorcycles rides together, showing the colours of the nations and cultures they are from, and enjoying sharing them with people from all corners of the world.Tenerife is such a diverse place, with people residing here from almost every nation in the world.
