Are you ready for a mystery? Get ready to unleash your inner sleuth. Every day Monday-Saturday, we feature a different detective audio drama from the Golden Age of Radio. Our current mystery-solving line-up of radio detectives includes The Adventures of the Falcon, Charlie Chan, Broadway's My Beat, Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, and Dragnet.

Whether you want to listen to a mystery before going to sleep or enjoy some drama while driving, or just feel nostalgia for old-school radio fiction, we have you covered with six audio dramas every week.


Podcast Award finalist Host Adam Graham has been your guide through dozens of old-time radio detective series since 2009. He provides insightful commentary and humor after each episode and responds to listener questions and feedback. We are currently in our fifteenth season of provided suspenseful mystery dramas. Our podcast feed captures the last 1,000 episodes we've released including all of seasons thirteen and fourteen, and part of season twelve. We have created two archive feeds:Volume 1, which features our first three seasons and Volume 2, which features seasons four-six, and Volume 3 which will feature Seasons Seven through Nine.

Our feed includes old time radio recorded in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and also Australia.

    Today's Mystery: Johnny Dollar travels to Paris after his underworld contact Louis de Marsac claims to know the whereabouts of the Olney diamonds, a three-quarter-million-dollar necklace stolen during its owner's recent visit to the United States. But Johnny's arrival is greeted by a ransacked apartment and a sudden assault, suggesting that recovering the jewels will mean navigating some dangerous figures in the Paris underworld.

  • 4014 - Dragnet: The Big Donation (EP5064)

    Todays Mystery: Sergeant Joe Friday and his partner Bill Lockwood investigate a group of confidence men posing as authorized solicitors for legitimate charities and pocketing the donations they collect. An early arrest appears promising until the suspect proves he merely copied the scheme, leaving Friday and Lockwood searching for the experienced bunco artists whose fraud is depriving charitable causes of badly needed funds.

  • 4013 - Broadway's My Beat: The Georgie Beck Murder Case (EP5063)

    Today's Mystery: Pickpocket Georgie Beck has repeatedly insisted that someone is following him, but Danny Clover and his colleagues have found nothing to substantiate his fears. When Georgie suddenly calls headquarters saying he has been attacked and then disappears, Danny retraces his movements and discovers an unexpected connection between the small-time thief and a lavish Park Avenue party.

  • 4012 - The Big Story: The Miracle Phone Call (EP5062)

    Today's Mystery: Newspaper reporter Dorothy Patterson is contacted by the desperate mother of five-year-old Johnny McDermott, who is gravely ill and needs an expensive experimental treatment his family cannot afford. Despite warnings that readers won’t contribute thousands of dollars to help a child they don’t know, Dorothy puts her faith in the generosity of her community and uses her newspaper column to make an appeal on Johnny’s behalf.

    Today's Mystery: Simon Templar tries to help Tommy Patrick, a prisoner who claims someone has repeatedly tried to kill him and then escapes before Simon can speak with him. Searching for the reason Tommy has been marked for death leads Simon to Tommy’s sister Nancy, a powerful nightclub owner, and questions about the robbery that sent Tommy to prison three years earlier.
