Paw Paw Chuck and C.J. make a delivery to a local church in Pleasant Valley, a town that sounds like… well, a pleasant place to visit. But when the townspeople mockingly describe the members of the “Big White Church,” it doesn’t sound like any group of Christians Paw Paw Chuck and C.J. have ever heard of.

C.J. befriends a group of weak and pitiful creatures. He gets the surprise of his life when he discovers they don't want his help! Meanwhile, Tiffany learns that she has a terrible illness that can only be cured if she changes who she is from the inside out!

Staci welcomes a new arrival to Wildwood and her whole world is turned upside down! Eunice McGruff convinces Staci that if you want anything in this world you have to make it happen for yourself. Staci likes what she hears, but is that what God tells us to do?

Ol’ Gus tells the Bible story of Achan, a man who disobeyed God and suffered for it. Meanwhile, Marsha’s food and blanket drive for the needy in Wildwood is coming together nicely. But when Marsha falls to temptation, she finds herself in Achan’s place!

“It’s a battle between the ‘Have’s' and the ‘Have-Not’s!'” With his father making a lot of money working for Mr. Rockler, C.J. quickly finds himself on the outs with his jealous friends. New clothes, new privileges, even Tiffany thinks C.J. is okay now! When God told us to “weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice,” He didn’t mean we have to be happy for C.J., or did He?

Mr. Rockler’s new railroad threatens to run right over The Fortress! Now the Club must band together to save it. They don’t know it yet, but the battle is for much more than just their clubhouse… it’s a spiritual battle for the future of Shadow Valley!

The New Wildwood Library is nearly completed and Miss Harbor’s class has been given the honor of making something to go on permanent display. Ned knows just the thing and sets off to create his masterpiece. But his foolish pride and anger put the project and his life in jeopardy! Can his friends save him from destruction?

Haman’s plan to kill all of the Jews is made into law, and no one - not even the king can stop him. As Haman’s pride swells, Esther is certain that God’s plan for her life is “for such a time as this.” God uses Esther in a mighty way and shows His sovereignty, in a thrilling conclusion that is celebrated by Jews even today.

Esther’s friends beg her to consider competing to become queen. If she doesn’t, they say, the wicked Mahnoosh may win the crown and all of the girls in the harem will suffer. Esther realizes that God may have placed her in the palace for this very reason. But God’s plan for Esther extends far beyond reigning beside the king. When Esther learns that the evil prince, Haman is plotting to kill Mordecai and all of the Jews, she must decide if she will risk her own life to save her people.

C.J. and Staci discover one of Mr. Collins’ cylinders that tells the amazing Bible story of Esther, a beautiful, young Jewish girl who God used to accomplish extraordinary things. In part one of the story, Esther is kidnapped and forced to compete in a contest to become the next queen. Realizing she might have to spend the rest of her life in the palace separated from her family and friends, Esther wonders in despair if God has forgotten about her.

Staci’s life seems to be going really well. She enjoys her church, her family and she even likes going to school. But all of that is about to change. Now Staci must learn how to trust God’s plans when everything around her seems out of control.

Marsha has a great idea, but thinks she could never do it, since she’s just a kid. With some encouragement from Paw Paw Chuck and the Bible story of Gideon, Marsha learns that nothing is impossible with God.

Staci can hardly believe what a rude reception she receives from Miss Helga Grissel. After all, she was only trying to welcome Miss Grissel to Wildwood. With Miss Harbor’s help, Staci learns an important lesson in showing grace to someone who’s hard to love.

When Ned refuses to part with an autographed baseball C.J. wants, C.J.’s envy threatens to get the better of him. With the help of Mr. Collins’ cylinder player, C.J. hears the story of King Ahab and Naboth’s Vineyard, and discovers how destructive envy can be.

Staci tells “The Club” the shocking news… Hugh wants to join the club! But the club only wants him if he’s changed his ways. Hugh is seen doing good deeds and being kind to others. His transformation even impresses Miss Harbor. But C.J. quietly struggles how one can know if a person has really changed.

C.J. tries to bring peace between “The Club” and Hugh. Being a peacemaker is certainly what God would want, right? But C.J.’s idea to bring the “two tribes” together explodes when his methods betray his good intentions.

The local baseball team is on the brink of winning the championship, when an injury sidelines their star player. But Gooz finds a “lucky” penny, and the Cavalry is on a roll. Now “The Club” must decide if the team’s dependence on the penny is just some harmless fun, or takes their focus off of playing to please God.
