The Krishnamurti Collection

Krishnamurti Foundation Trust

The Krishnamurti Collection is an official podcast by Krishnamurti Foundation Trust.

Across this wide selection of events, from public talks to in-depth conversations, Krishnamurti explores fundamental questions of human existence: the nature of thought, fear and desire; the roots of conflict and conditioning; and whether the mind can be free – questions that touch our daily lives and relationships. Each episode of the podcast features a full-length Krishnamurti recording from the Foundation’s archives, with a new series released every week.

Krishnamurti is widely regarded as one of the greatest philosophers and teachers of all time. For seven decades, he spoke to large audiences around the world, as well as with notable individuals and small groups. Krishnamurti stressed that ‘There is hope in humanity, not in society, not in systems, not in organised religious systems, but in you and in me.’

This podcast sits alongside 'Urgency of Change: The Krishnamurti Podcast', which features carefully curated extracts on over 200 topics. The Krishnamurti Collection, by contrast, makes complete recordings available in a convenient format, preserving the unedited, natural unfolding of each talk.

Established by Krishnamurti in 1968, Krishnamurti Foundation Trust is a non-profit charity based at Brockwood Park in the UK, which is also home to The Krishnamurti Centre and Brockwood Park School. To learn more about our activities and retreat programmes, and to donate, please visit:

Krishnamurti: Beliefs Dissipate EnergyRajghat 1972, Public Meetings1/2: An Energy That Has Never Known Corruption How am I to deal with ‘what is’ actually, which is myself? When the mind has undissipated energy, it can go beyond ‘what is’. When I say I must put away my beliefs, who is the ‘me’ that says this? Conflict is a wastage of energy. The ‘me’ is the invention of thought. ‘How can I go beyond myself?’ is a wrong question. Can the mind be totally attentive? Attention is the summation of total energy. • 265 - 266 • Rajghat 1972 (2/2) • Talk 2: Can the Mind Observe Without Time?

Krishnamurti: Beliefs Dissipate EnergyRajghat 1972, Public Meetings2/2: Can the Mind Observe Without Time? What is it we are seeking and why do we seek? Time is involved in searching and when the mind desires or demands experience. What is a mind to do that has been brought up and evolved in time? Can the mind always functioning in the field of time as the known be free without practice, discipline or effort? If you don’t move at all from the fact of suffering, what takes place? We are asking the mind not to think at all. Questions from the audience followed the talk - The Krishnamurti Collection is an official podcast by Krishnamurti Foundation Trust. Krishnamurti: A Mind Purged of the Past Knows LoveBrandeis University 1968, Students Meetings1/5: Psychological Revolution Without Time Why have we given such importance to thought? Freedom is not an idea. Violence is in each human being – can one change it completely and live in peace? Krishnamurti: A Mind Purged of the Past Knows LoveBrandeis University 1968, Students Meetings2/5: Fear and Awareness We have so many complex problems; one has to find the answer oneself. Can the conscious mind uncover hidden fears? What is the structure and nature of fear? What sustains, gives continuity to fear of the past and future? Can thought through time dissolve fear? What is the state of the mind that says, ‘I have understood something’? Q: If dreams are manifestations of hidden fears, how is it possible to bring them out into the consciousness?
