David Ellefson has announced the December leg of his Bass Warrior European tour, and he'll be playing Megadeth's Countdown To Extinction in its entirety across twelve dates from December 3 to 19 — five days after Dave Mustaine's memoir excerpt claimed Ellefson's time in the band was finished regardless of the 2021 scandal. Ellefson has previously said of his 2010 return as a salaried player: "In order to have a friendship, I had to give up some ownership."

For the record: the person Ellefson was involved with was nineteen, the grooming allegations made online were false, and Ellefson reported the unauthorised distribution of the footage to police himself.
