- 213 - Ai Ogura To Yamaha Shakes Up 2027 Silly Season
Dre Harrison, Lewis Duncan and Peter McLaren sit down for the latest episode of the Crash MotoGP Podcast.
On this week's show, they discuss the shock move hinted over the weekend, with Ai Ogura seemingly heading to the factory Yamaha team for the 2027 season, alongside Jorge Martin. All of a sudden, does Yamaha have one of the strongest teams in the sport?
Also, a chat about the butterfly effect that may cause across the grid, including what Trackhouse could do as a replacement. Is it time to move on from temperamental talent Raul Fernandez? And could a Tech3 switch to Honda be another potential market catalyst? Listen in to find out!

Mon, 13 Apr 2026 - 40min - 211 - How Reserve Riders Could Be A Game Changer For 2027
Dre Harrison is joined by Lewis Duncan and Peter McLaren in another edition of the Crash MotoGP Podcast.
This week’s episode is built around the possibility of MotoGP having mandated reserve riders, ready to step in at a moment’s notice in case of unforeseen circumstance like injury. Lewis and Pete explain how this could be a surprise game changer for the sport in terms of integrating younger riders into MotoGP sooner, and drawing more interest in the sport as a whole.
There’s also reaction to the silly season news that David Alonso may be heading to HRC, with Enea Bastianini and Dani Holgado rumoured to be joining Gresini for 2027.

Wed, 08 Apr 2026 - 41min - 210 - Bezzecchi's Record Five-Peat As Aprilia Takes America
Lewis Duncan, Peter McLaren and Dre Harrison sit down to review the third round of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship from Austin, Texas as Marco Bezzecchi would lead every single lap to take his fifth win in a row and break the all-time laps led record, pushing it out to 121. And with Jorge Martin taking the sprint win and briefly leading the Championship, is the Spaniard a surprise title threat now?
There's also a breakdown of Ducati's current struggles. Marc Marquez's predicted Austin onslaught never materialised after a 115mph crash on Friday, a take out of Fabio Di Giannnantonio in the Sprint for a penalty and only managing fifth in the Grand Prix. Marc clearly isn't 100% after last year's shoulder injury, but what else is holding Ducati back as Aprilia lay claim to being the sport's best factory?
There's also more on Pedro Acosta getting back on the podium for KTM, more talk over Michelin and tyre pressures, and how do you solve the problem that is Joan Mir and crashing from high positions.

Mon, 30 Mar 2026 - 58min - 209 - Bezzecchi's Wins Four In A Row As Goiania's Track Falls Apart
Lewis Duncan and Peter McLaren are joined by Dre Harrison to breakdown the Brazilian GP, the first in the country for 22 years. Marco Bezzecchi won his fourth Grand Prix in a row, just the fifth rider to do so in the modern era of the sport. At this point, you have you wonder, is Aprilia the new Ducati, or are other circumstances propping up their success?
There's also a deep dive into the farcical timeline of Goiania's circuit falling apart across the weekend, from the sinkhole that appeared after Qualifying on Saturday that led to an 80-minute delay to the Sprint, and the asphalt breaking up at Turns 11-12 on Sunday that led to the Grand Prix being reduced from 31 to 23 laps. It leads to greater questions about the state of the facilities and whether Goiania itself is worthy of a World Championship event.
Finally, a discussion on the mixed bag of Ducati performances, Marc Marquez's great fight with Fabio Di Giannantonio across the weekend and whether Fermin Aldeguer could be heading to VR46 for 2027.

Mon, 23 Mar 2026 - 59min - 208 - Qatar MotoGP Race To Be Cancelled As Honda Debut 2027 Bike
Dre Harrison, Lewis Duncan and Peter McLaren come together for another edition of the Crash MotoGP Podcast. In this episode, the trio discuss the reasons why Qatar's MotoGP race in April is likely to be cancelled as the conflict in the Middle East affects both the world of bikes and Formula 1. There's also first impressions of Honda's 850cc 2027 MotoGP Bike, and a debate about whether a Sprint Win, should count as a Grand Prix win after Acosta became its youngest ever winner in Thailand last week.

Fri, 13 Mar 2026 - 36min - 207 - Bezzecchi Dominates Thailand as Marquez and Acosta Clash
Dre Harrison, Lewis Duncan and Peter McLaren review all the action to come out of the 2026 Season Opener, the Thai Grand Prix. Marco Bezzecchi dominated in what may be Aprilia's greatest day in MotoGP, with four of their bikes in the Top 5. Is that a sign of things to come?
Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez also went toe-to-toe in the Sprint race, with a controversial penalty demoting Marquez down to 2nd for Acosta to become MotoGP's youngest sprint winner. Was it the right decision?
All that and more on the latest Crash MotoGP Podcast!

Mon, 02 Mar 2026 - 50min - 206 - Bagnaia to Aprilia For 2027 and Philip Island Gone
Dre Harrison sits down with Lewis Duncan and Pete McLaren to discuss all things Buriram Test with the 2026 season just days around the corner. Marc Marquez crashes three times but still looks fast, Aprilia looks settled as main contender, and could be about to snatch Pecco Bagnaia from Ducati.
There's also a deep dive on Yamaha's continued struggles, where KTM and Honda fit in the field, and the shocking departure of Philip Island from the MotoGP calendar. Is the sport right to be moving to Adelaide?
Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Mon, 23 Feb 2026 - 1h 06min - 205 - Fabio Quartararo Injured as Marquez Brothers Lead Sepang Test
New host Dre Harrison joins Pete McLaren and Lewis Duncan for a full review of the 2026 MotoGP Sepang Test, looking across the grid from Yamaha, to Ducati.
For Yamaha, it was a disaster, with lead rider Fabio Quartararo breaking a finger and missing two days of running, followed by the entire factory sitting out Day 2 with engine concerns. Is this the beginning of the end for Fabio at Yamaha?
Honda and KTM are both looking promising, witn Joan Mir fastest on Day 2, with Pedro Acosta positive, but self-critical. But is Acosta heading to Ducati, and if Fabio's Honda bound, who does he replace?
Aprilia look like they're still next in line behind Ducati, but are they bringing in Pecco Bagnaia to replace Jorge Martin, who seems to be heading to Yamaha? And could Ducati be losing its insurance policy in Alex Marquez, with KTM's factory money tempting the Spaniard? All that and more discussed on the latest Crash MotoGP podcast!

Mon, 16 Jun 2025 - 30min - 170 - Toprak joins Pramac Yamaha for 2026 - Who will be his teammate?
Toprak Razgatlioglu will join the Pramac Yamaha team next season, by which time he’ll have turned 29-years-old. The two-time World Superbike Champion will end his time with BMW as a result, a partnership which yielded the Bavarian brand’s first WorldSBK title in 2024 and Razgtlioglu’s second, having taken his first with Yamaha in 2021.
Razgatlioglu’s deal will only keep him at Yamaha for the 2026 season, which means both parties will be open to either continuing or ending the collaboration after the first year, but, perhaps more importantly, ahead of MotoGP’s biggest regulation change in a decade in 2027. The big question also lingers... Who will be his teammate? Jack Miller or Miguel Oliveira.
Miller is the clear option, since his contract expires at the end of this year, but he’s also been the more performative rider of the two this year, despite his difficult Aragon race that resulted in only 14th.

On this week's podcast, we discuss the Aragon Grand Prix and the dominance of Marc Marquez. It seems so with a change of brake discs, giving him more confidence on the front end of that GP25.
We also discuss Manu Gonzalez's surprise test with Trackhouse and Toprak Razgatlioglu's move to Pramac, which seems all but done.

Sat, 31 May 2025 - 15min - 166 - Heartbreak for Fabio Quartararo as Bezzecchi timely delivers for Aprilia 🇬🇧
Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi took a shock victory in a chaotic 2025 British Grand Prix as the factory Ducati riders struggled at Silverstone.
The 20-lap British Grand Prix started under dramatic circumstances as a tangle between Franco Morbidelli and Aleix Espargaro left oil on track at Vale, leading to a red flag.
At Turn 1, Alex Marquez - who won the sprint - crashed while taking the lead, with Marc Marquez falling at Turn 10 as he led seconds prior to the race being red-flagged.
The stoppage allowed both Marquez brothers to take the 19-lap restart as three tours hadn’t been completed, offering a reprieve for both.
At the restart, polesitter Fabio Quartararo grabbed the lead on his factory Yamaha and headed the field for much of the race before a technical issue knocked him out on lap 12.
This allowed Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi to inherit the lead and take his first victory since the 2023 Indian GP, and his first for the Italian manufacturer.

Mon, 07 Apr 2025 - 38min - 157 - MotoGP Chaos in COTA as Marquez crashes and Bagnaia wins 🤯
Pecco Bagnaia won a dramatic 2025 MotoGP Americas Grand Prix after Ducati team-mate Marc Marquez crashed out of a comfortable lead.
Marquez came into Sunday’s 20-lap grand prix at COTA looking to extend his 100% winning record in 2025, having taken victory in Saturday’s sprint.
But he would ultimately crash out of the lead on lap nine, gifting Pecco Bagnaia a comfortable first victory of the season. Second for Alex Marquez means Marc Marquez now trails his younger brother by one point in the standings.
There was drama even before the grand prix got underway, as rain prior to lights led most to fit wet tyres, though KTM duo Brad Binder and Enea Bastianini, and Trackhouse Racing’s Ai Ogura, fitted slicks. The start was then thrown into chaos with three minutes before lights out, after Marc Marquez ran off the grid to get his dry bike - triggering a number or riders, including Bagnaia, to do the same. With some still on the grid and others running into pitlane with bikes heading in the other direction, the start was delayed.
