In the wake of Blaze Bayley's triumphant set on the first night of Eddfest, we take a look at the album that started his solo career, Silicon Messiah. As usual, we take a deep dive into each track and discover which of the tracks are Rich and Mads favourites - will they pick the same song as the best track on the album? We also discuss Mads live gigs that he's attended, including the Copenhell mega festival! We find that Rich has been running around after his kids a lot and find out just how far his kids will go to have a conversation! All this and Mads has something up his sleeve for episode 12!

Join us as we go big game hunting with our mane attraction, Pride by White Lion! Continuing our hair metal tangent, we discuss the lion based puns used by the band, we find out a little bit about Vito Bratta and we pit Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee against Sting of the Bumblebee. In episode 9, Mads and Rich discover the joys of the second Extreme album, Pornograffiti. As usual, we take a deep dive into every track and actually uncover some hidden depths to an album that we have both enjoyed for years, prior to this episode. We discover that we have both fallen into a hair metal rabbit hole recently with our listening and we ponder just who did the best version of Flight of the Bumblebee and just where should Hole Hearted go?! All of this, plus, we get to see what Mads has in store for us in our tenth episode.

In a huge first for Full Metal Records, we welcome a guest. Coop from the wonderful Spoken Metal Show joins us for a chat about his album pick, Surgical Steel by Carcass. We get deep into the album itself as well as hearing Coop's reasons for picking the album and stories relating to the band themselves. We also hear about the recent Arcade Club meetup that Mads and Rich joined in with as well as getting into discussions about physical media and how to actually listen to an album properly. Join us for a great conversation about this particular album as well as metal itself. We also discover just what Rich has up his sleeve for us in episode 9!

We discuss their album, Shades of Sorrow, and get into how this album makes us feel and how relateable it is as we delve into the band's thoughts and feelings here. We also choose the album for episode 4 and discuss Rich's feelings about getting into more death metal in the last couple of years.

Join Mads and Rich for the second part of this epic Maiden voyage through the first two Iron Maiden albums, the Paul Di'anno years. In this episode, we're focussing on the 1981 album Killers, and find out just how the two of us feel about this record. We also discuss the passing of Ozzy Osbourne and some of the amazing albums he has made which will keep his legacy alive. Mads also teases us for the entire episode about which record he's going to choose for episode 3.
