Our conclusion is that its ENTIRELY up to you! Have you ever watched a Kenyan Movie? What is your favourite one? While Kenya is not known for its film industry, there are have been several films that have been critically acclaimed. This week we had an interesting debate with Carol Kioko- a Kenyan filmmaker who leads the 48 Hour Film Project in Kenya- on why Kenyans don't watch Kenyan films. Quick Bio about Wangari, she is a decorated economist who specialises in Public Financial Management for governments in Africa. She’s worked in senior positions at the National Treasury in Kenya, The World Bank in Washington DC, and Dalberg Global Advisors in New York, Switzerland, Tanzania and Kenya. Her work focuses on analysis of fiscal decentralization but today she was our love doctor (LOL).
