Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Kat Lee, Class of 2013.  She also received a BA in Sociology from SUNY Old Westbury, followed by a master's in social work from Stony Brook University.  Her interests include social justice, mental health, science, medicine, ASD, ADHD, grief, and suicide awareness.  Kat's hobbies include travel, sailing, scuba, diving, volleyball and pickleball.  Kat is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, and she is the Director of Human Resources at Alpha Risk Management.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Mary Saramak, NCC Class of '74.  Mary earned an associate degree from Nassau, and continued with a BA, MA, and MLS degrees.  She continues her career at NCC as an adjunct faculty reference librarian.  She participates in the NCC Continuing Education program, including astronomy, finance, and business.  She loves yoga, golf, judo, soccer, cooking, and everything outdoors.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Ally Ramos, a singer/songwriter and performer who studied music and performing arts at Nassau Community College.  She collaborates, sings, writes and performs her own music internationally.  She has also been a model and backup singer.  She is the mother of a 6-year-old girl and has 10 pets.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Gail Lewis, who is representing her mother Diane, Class of 1962!  Diane went on to Hofstra and earned a BS in Education.  Her hobbies included swimming, international travel, local volunteer leadership, reading, and crafting.  She literally walked to Hempstead Turnpike and hopped on a bus to NCC at a time when women did not do those things!  Her daughter shares her mom's journey - and her own journey as a student at NCC in the 80s.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Singer/Songwriter William "Fiz" - Class of 1986.  He writes songs for himself and others, recognized for his humanitarian efforts including on News 12's "Making A Difference."  He is the author of IGNITE THE ROCK STAR IN YOU, where he shares his musical visioning, a process that helps people connect with their sole purpose.  Fiz believes in the healing power of music and how we can all take part in making the world a better place.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Karen Young, NCC Class of 2007.  She is a registered nurse with 19+ years of experience.  She began her career as a home health care aide.  Karen was a single mother starting out at NCC, balancing career and motherhood.  She returns to NCC as an honoree.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jacqueline Fowler, Class of 2005.  She earned her accounting degree with honors and matriculated to Hofstra University earning a BA in Accounting, followed by a master's in taxation.  Her professional career spans more than 20 years.  She is currently an Assistant Tax Manager at TDK USA Corporation.  As President of the Hofstra Black and Hispanic Alumni Board, she shares her expertise in her field.  She is active in her church, and a mother of four children.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Keith Daniel Saunders, Sr., Class of 1990.  He is the author of a new book "Roosevelt to the Hamptons: The War on Both Sides" which chronicles his experiences growing up on Long Island, attending NCC, and how it shaped his career.  He reminds everyone of the African-American proverb 'It takes a village to raise a child.'  His leadership, courage, and faith in God are unmatched and his ability to lead all students to greatness is unparalleled.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jeff Indyke, Class of 1997 with an associate degree in music.  His passion for drumming is vast and includes playing percussion, vibes and teaching private lessons.  He loves the music of the past like Louie Armstrong Dixieland recordings, and how these recordings continue to influence music in a variety of ways.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Cosmo Leone - NCC Class of '78.  Cosmo worked at WHPC from 1977-1979, moving on to WCWP at what was then CW Post until 1980.  He then moved to the Midwest in 1981 to KGRS, Burlington, Iowa, working in afternoon drive and starting a 32-year career as a morning personality and program director.  He is an award-winning host, leading his station in achievements as a top 5 small marketing station.  He is recognized as one of the top Program Directors in US Small Market Radio.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Kathi Lee, also known to her radio audience as Domonique!  She is a radio personality on 102.3 WBAB playing classic rock!  She earned her associate degree from NCC and went on to New York Institute of Technology earning her bachelor's in fine arts.  Her hobbies include spending time with her husband and rescue dogs and cats.  She loves watching TV and going to dinner with friends.  She also works full-time as a Morgan Stanley Software Trainer.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Janelle Clausen, NCC Class of 2013.  Janelle earned her AA degree in Liberal Arts, and a BA in Journalism with a specialty in Public Policy and Public Affairs, and her Masters in Democracy and Government from Georgetown University.  She worked as a full-time journalist on Long Island and has worked for several grant-funded programs that provides aides and volunteers.  She is a panelist for the State Department Fellowship, that will further empower international leaders and leadership in general.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Dr. Pete Coco, NCC Class of 2001.  He is a portrait photographer known for creating bold images that defy convention.  He works with musicians, authors, and executives.  He studied music at NCC and earned a BA at Hofstra University in Jazz and Commercial Music, and a master's in jazz studies from SUNY Purchase, and a doctorate in classical performance from Stony Brook University.  He had the great fortune of teaching his art and his music.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Matthew Cohen, NCC Class of 2025. Matthew earned his degree in Creative Writing and is currently a student at SUNY Binghamton.  His goal is to be a screen writer for a video game developer.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Gabriel "Gabe" Derwin, NCC Class of 2024.  He earned his associate of science degree in accounting and is currently pursuing an accounting degree at SUNY Old Westbury.  His hobbies include listening to, and analyzing music, doing mathematical puzzles, competitive cup stacking and writing poetry.  He loves badminton and works part-time at an arcade.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with JONNY Brumit, NCC Class of 2023, with a degree in Media. JONNY is owner and founder of Art of Heaven Multimedia Inc. He has a certificate of audio recording and production from the Institute of Audio Research and experience in all facets of production including recording, mixing, mastering, and is certified in ProTools. He has worked at WHPC since 2021 and is the host of "Art of Heaven" and "Art of Heaven News Talk."  His mission and values lead people to transforming their relationship with Jesus via his work at Shelter Rock Church.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Julie Marchesella, NCC Class of 1984.  She continued her education at Kingsborough Community College and Wilsey Institute of Art and Interior.  She is a businesswoman and entrepreneur and is President of the Elmont Chamber of Commerce, having had many roles in leadership.  She owns a business called "Queen of Hearts" in Merrick, NY, that sells formalwear for plus sized women.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Joseph Flynn, NCC Class of 2016.  After graduation, he transferred to Baruch College to pursue his real estate and residential development degree.  He has been a real estate expert in New York for more than a decade and is a tri-licensed agent with offices in Cutchohue, Bridgehampton and Manhattan.  He loves to be with his family and hang out with friends.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jai Ismael, Class of 2012.  During her years at NCC, she participated in many clubs including finding entertainment acts to perform at the college.  Jai grew a fondness for English due to an influential professor.  She is currently persuing her Master's degree at SUNY Old Westbury in Adolescent Education and English 7-12.  She is a teaching assistant and a blogger with interests in media, music and literature.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Brimstone, NCC Class of 1990.  He has had a successful and rewarding career spanning 4 decades, participating in numerous entertainment fields which include professional wrestler, radio host, podcaster, actor, voice actor, author, musician, and serial entertainment entrepreneur!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Angelise Milton, NCC Class of 2010 with a degree in Applied Science and a major in Fashion Design.  She then earned a Bachelor degree in Technical Design with a minor in English.  Her hobbies include praise worship and mural paintaing.  She is interested in the film industry and is working on a manifest of her grandmother's book.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Bryce Mack, NCC Class of 2019.  Bryce has been elected to serve on the NCC Alumni Association board.  He also earned a bachelor degree from SUNY New Paltz in Political Science and a Master's in Public Administration from SUNY Albany.  He is an associate in government relations currently.  At NCC, he served as a Senator, VP and President of Student Government.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Raquel Fossett, Class of 2018.  Raquel is the former Operations Director for West Battleground States for the Harris for President campaign.  She served as the advisor for policy and program implementation at the US Department of Transportation and served as the White House Director of the internship program.  Her first internship was under Biden and Harris.  She is a proud alum and strives for advocacy and equity in our communities and our society.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Maria Monteiro from Uniondale, NCC Class of 1983.  She studied child psychology.  She worked in daycare as a mentor, teacher and advocate for human rights, including LGBTQ, mental health, drug & alcohol abuse including rehab and recovery.  Maria is a proud mother, grandmother, and wife.  She believes in assisting her community by helping others and guiding them to adequate resources.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Michael Savidge, NCC Class of 2015.  He majored in Studio Recording Technology and was a student producer here at WHPC.  He currently works for B&H as a product data entry specialist, and does freelance work in A/V production.  His hobbies include photography, playing guitar, and customizing his Linux computer.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Peter Cook '86.  Peter graduated with a degree in business administration and a minor in marketing.  He moved to the Bronx and finished his education degree.  He worked for the NYC Department of Education from 1995-2023 and retired from teaching special education students in grades 6, 7 and 8 in 2023.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Joseph Neumeyer, NCC Class of 2009.  He is a freelance photographer, completing 14 semesters and earning his associates degree, and a bachelor degree from Empire State in Westbury in 2013.  As an artist, Joseph continues to learn and spreads light wherever he goes.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Warren S. Hoffman, NCC Class of 1977.  He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and is a founding father of our alumni association.  He says NCC provided him with a foundation for his education and his future.  He serves as a senior partner with the firm Sperber, Hoffman, Stein and Scampoli, LLP.  He is the father of two and has four grandchildren.  His hobbies include being a pilot and flying his private plane, walking, and playing pickleball.  He is being honored at the Alumni Association's 40th Anniversary Gala this year.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Lisa R. Valente, a partner at Makofsky Valente Law Group, PC, with offices in Garden City.  Lisa was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Star and Best Lawyers Lists, and she is a Woman of Distinction Award Winner in 2021.  She graduated from NCC in 1999 and transferred to SUNY Old Westbury, earning a BA in politics, economics and the law.  She graduate from Touro Law School with honors.  She is a member of the NYS Bar Association and is a respected writer.  Her legal efforts support probate and estate administration, trust administration and beneficiaries.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Lawrence Engel 84.  Lawrence is a founding father of the Alumni Association.  He grew up in Wantagh and graduated from Arch Bishop Molloy High School.  After NCC he went to SUNY Old Westbury, and worked for the IRS, and is a proud retiree.  He is currently a defensive driving instructor for AAA.  He served as President of the SUNY Confederation of Alumni Associations.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Muhammed Abdullah Atif '22.  He is currently a senior computer science major at Farmingdale State College, with a focus on full stack coding.  He is active in the creation of efficient and scalable applications and involved in the student government serving as the Chairperson.  He was active in NCC's student government as well.  In his spare time, he is an avid reader and lover of books as well.  He works as an intern at FSC for the Office of Community and Civic Engagement, and advocates for student concerns in all facets of campus life.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Kathryn Newman, NCC Class of 1976, majoring in African American studies.  As a teaching assistant in the Hempstead Public Schools, she got her teaching assistant certification.  She is a lover of music, art, African studies and worked at the New York Times Syndicate for many years.  She enjoys baseball, listening to music, and watching TV and movies.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Counrtney Tricarichi-Funk, Class of 2005.  Courtney is an information sciences scholar and educator.  Upon graduation, she earned a BA in Psychology from Hofstra University, followed by an MA from LIU in Philosophy (Information Sciences) and is now in pursuit of a PhD with a focus on neurodivergent students and ensuring their access to higher education. She is currently an adjunct professor and instructor at NCC in the Center for Workforce Development.  She is an academic advisor and is a co-runner of the tabletop gaming expo and an expert in the gaming industry.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Tolitha Henry, NCC Class of 2015.  She is a passionate traveler who has explored nearly 30 countries as a solo traveler and is deeply connected to fostering strong connections with communities around the world.  She serves as a special education teacher with a decade of experience in high school, middle school, and kindergarten.  Tolitha is an instructional coach and supports educators to better serve children.  She is a runner, a hiker, and is part of many social clubs that involve creating vision boards and sparking creativity and meaningful conversations.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Carolyn Henry '00.  She has dedicated her life to assisting others and is currently an educational assistant working with children with cerebral palsy.  She is an NYS licensed chaplain and pastor, providing guidance to those in need.  Alongside her husband, she hosts a Christian podcast called Rivers of Living Waters Overflowing Ministry on www.churchtalkradio.com.  She also serves on the NCC Alumni Association board and recently retired from the Department of Probation where she served as the Executive Assistant to brand chiefs, directors and the deputy commissioner with 31 years of service.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Christopher Marlborough, NCC Class of 1989.  Upon graduation, Chris evaluated job skills of people with disabilities entering the workforce.  He attended Brooklyn Law Svhool and eventually started his own successful law practice representing workers who are cheated of minimum wage and overtime.  www.fightwagetheft.com for more information.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jessica Sinclair, NCC Class of 2014.  Jessica was the recipient of the NCC Presidential Scholarship and Citation Award.  She worked as a medical surgical nurse and provided patient healing care.  She graduated cum laude from SUNY Farmingdale.  She created Sinclair Master of Ceremonies Inc., providing servces including public speaking, vlogging, and voice overs.  She is a master of professional development, provides workshops, and is also an author.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Ronald Gross, NCC class of 1989.  He continued his education at the Academy of Art University.  Ron is a published author and his hobbies include music, art, film, culture, and he writes about what he loves.  One of his hobbies is baking and he runs a group at his public library.  He is writing a series of books on copyrighting and neurographics.  He sponsors writing workshops and is a contemporary artist and writer.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Mike Garcia '98.  Not only was Mike a student, but he was also a professor at NCC for 10 years, teaching ENL.  He is currently an ENL teacher in the Baldwin school district, as well as a husband, son, and father.  His hobbies include DC Comvis and all that is Marvel and Spiderman!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien speak with Mikey Arugula, NCC Class of 1976.  He is a working man by day, and a podcaster and Beatles Memorabilia collector by night.  He has a vast collection and assists others in building their collections.  He has a YouTuve channel and creates informational videos related to music and collecting.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Gillian O'Connor, class of 2011.  Gillian worked as a DJ at WHPC on the morning show, and had a radio career at KJOY and Party 105 as a board operator.  Her DJ Name is DJ Serenade, because she is a singing DJ!  She is currently an art teacher - and 9 months pregnant!  Her hobbies include swimming, going to the beach, bike riding and tennis.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks once again with Lori Jorge, Class of '98.  She currently serves as the President of the NCC Alumni Association.  Today she shares her goals and purpose for the continued success of the association and why it is flourishing!  She was also recently honored with a brick at NCC for all of her hard work and dedication to NCC.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Sondra Hurvey Hall '00, an educator, activist and stand-up comedian!  Her passion is educating the public on suicide prevention and awareness.  She has founded the Tenneil Hurvey Foundation entitled "Never Surrender" in memory of her son Tenneil who passed away by suicide at age 16.  The pain remains great, but by openly discussing prevention and awareness, Sondra assists other families affected bt the same grief.  She reminds everyone to remember and never surrender.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Dr. Scott Thomas Cairns '82.  He was the recipient of the History Award.  He has a BA in History from CW Post and served as a graduate assistant, earning his Masters.  He has a PhD in International History from the London School of Economics and in 2014, received another Master's degree in Music Theory and Composition from LIU Post.  Dr. Scott is a musician, composer, and believes in self-discovery and healing for all.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Ghia Burns '07!  She earned her liberal arts degree from NCC and served as editor of the school newspaper, The Vignette.  She also worked at WHPC and both interests led her to experience the college in a life-changing way.  Ghia's hobbies include baking and competitive trivia.  NCC paved the way for her current success in the media industry.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with James Goodman '86!  He earned an associate degree in Business Administration.  He currently serves as a tax professional with expertise in accounting and tax.  Jim's hobbies including travelling, golf, and sports (Let's Go Mets and Giants, and Purdue and Florida State!)

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Ni-Ima Lovesong-Lattimer, Class of 2019 who graduated with a Liberal Arts degree.  She works with many non-profit organizations.  Her hobbies include writing poetry, singing, acting and dancing.  She is a creative person who believes NCC provided her with a strong foundation towards success.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Karren Ross-Fortunet '02.  Karren received her degree in Communications and also has a Bachelor's in Nutrition from C.W. Post.  Her hobbies include working out, zumba as an instructor, reading, and spending time in nature.  Karren has a passion for becoming a performance, health and wellness coach - and is working on that goal.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Kyle MacKay '19, who majored in Business Administration.  Since graduation, Kyle has worked for Bank of America and Charles Schwab as a licensed stockbroker.  He enjoys rooting for the Yankees in his spare time.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jason Spiller '21, with a degree in science.  He transferred to Hofstra University where he majored in TV and Video Production.  He was active in HEAT and the Hofstra radio station, where he served as their Director of News Tech and a well-respected engineer, which he learned at WHPC as well.  As a Hofstra graduate, Jason is an aspiring TV/Video person, seeking work in the industry.  He loves rocket league, Magic the Gathering, and the game Legend of Zelda.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Mikey Rivers '23.  Mikey was born in Brooklyn but raised on Long Island.  He took what he learned at NCC as a student at WHPC and now brings his goofy nerdy vibes to radio station Party 105, also on Long Island.  He loves all things Star Wars, Marvel, Ninja Turtles, and One Piece.  When he was younger, he dreamed of being a DJ on the radio, and now 30 years later, his dreams have manifested themselves.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Todd Silver '00.  Todd continued his education after NCC at SUNY Oneonta and Dowling College.  He is interested in sports and music, having been a sports writer for the NCC newspaper, the Vignette - winning a student activities award during his time at NCC.  His main hobby is attending autograph signing events to meet his favorite athletes, bike riding and going to concerts.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jerome Paduano '93!  Jerry attended the Kree Institute of Electrolysis and Stony Brook University after graduating from Nassau Community College.  He is a musician, a singer-songwriter, and loves to be creative.  He plays at his church, and owns his own piano and music tuning repair business.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Amanda Giacometti '22!  She is now an education major at SUNY Old Westbury.  Due to COVID, some of her time here was interrupted, but she managed to persevere!  She loves sports, music and spending time with friends.  She loves softball and is a singer!  Amanda is interested in teaching English and social work.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Daniela Ferraro '22, who received her Associates in Language Arts and is working towards her Bachelor Degree in Childhood Education at SUNY Old Westbury.  Her hobbies include photography - and a professor at NCC inspired her to showcase photos in an art show and encouraged her to pursue her passion.

Lynnda Nadien talks with Keith Daniel Saunders Sr. ('90), an educator and school leader for over 30 years.  He is a teacher, an administrator, a mentor and dedicated to serving his community as the President and Co-Founder of a youth empowerment program Saunders Omnipresent Network Inspiring America's Youth Inc. (SONIAY INC.).  Keith is also a deacon at the House of Judah Church in West Sayville, NY.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Elizabeth Sekreta '20.  Elizabeth is a student at SUNY Old Westbury and preparing to be a teacher.  She is a student observing in the Hempstead School District and is passionate about working with children.  She loves to work out, hang with friends and work at Outback Steakhouse where she a server and bartender.  She loves art, especially pottery, and looks forward to future art classes.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Stacey Garcia '20.  She served the college as President of the Future Teachers Club and upon graduation, transferred to SUNY Old Westbury, where she is now studying elementary education with a concentration in bilingual education.  Stacey loves hiking, hanging out with her family and friends, and is hoping to be a successful teacher in the future.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Erika Zizzo '09, who received a degree from NCC in Business Administration, She supports students by inspiring them to work towards success in any field. She is an avid cyclist, loves kayaking and charcuterie boards! Her interests include music, art, architecture, and Long Island and American history. She collects and sells vintage decor and artwork, too. She was a DJ at WHPC and used her skills here to enhance her professional work which includes a lot of public speaking.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Destany Samuel '23, who has a degree from NCC in Fashion Design. She is a radio host, DJ/Producer, Creative Director and songwriter. She is interested in astrology, human design, communications and more. She loves to sing, dance, and create.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Dr. Timothy Keogh ('05). After NCC, he graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree, and a PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center in History. He ran cross-country at NCC and was a D3 All American. His hobbies include history and gardening.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Adeline Mucci '19. She earned a Master of Science in Higher Education, Leadership and Policy Studies. Her hobbies include music, cooking, traveling, dance, reading and gardening.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Dr. Daniel Thomas Moran '02. Originally attended NCC 1975-1977 and returned to complete an AS degree in Biology in 2002. He then went to Stony Brook University and a DDS degree from Howard University. He enjoys music, golf, and making Windsor chairs. He is listed in Who's Who, and is a writer, a poet, a thinker and a doctor!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Sandra Reese-Rigg '86! She graduated from the nursing program at the age of 21, and has worked in the medical and pharmaceutical fields as a nurse and pharmacist after earning her degree from St. John's University. She is also a business owner in Florida, owning Caduceus Pharmacy. She teaches an online course for women suffering from Fibromyalgia, is a community activist, and works to promote wellness, health and overall screening services.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Catherine Flanagan '84! She received a degree in secreterial science and a certificate in Wang Word Processing leading to her working as an administrative assistant and executive secretary for senior administrators in the aviation world. She is also a community activist and advocate, having served on the Plainedge Board of Education for 18 years.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with John Blenn ('80), the founder of Long Island Music Entertainment which was a publication for more than 7 years. John is a music expert and writer, having written for numerous publications. He is an actor, writer and musician. Currently, John is the house manager at the Patchogue Theatre, using his many talents to bring the best of music to Long Island.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Daryel Groom ('94), a proud NCC alum and educator. She is an English teacher at Wyandanch High School and is a published author. Daryel is an animal advocate and received degrees from Molloy and Queens College. She believes writing skills are the foundation for all educational successes.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Rita Monte ('90), the host of the Italian program Profumi D'Italia on WHPC bringing music, poetry, and interviews that celebrate Italian culture. Rita has taught Italian at Meadow School in Baldwin and does private tutoring. She is very active in the Italian-American community, and serves as the Vice President of the Italian American Women's Center of Manhasset, a cultural group that helps promote the language and Italian culture. She is an advocate, a cook, a poet, and a mother and spouse.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Stephanie Dolce ('90), who is an avid reader, writer and antiquer. She previously went to Lasalle Ext University in Chicago back in 1972. Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Joanne Sorgie ('84). Joanne is a Kindergarten teacher in the Uniondale School District for the past 25 years. She is an artist and began her career as an art major at NCC. She received her fine arts degree from Hofstra University. She is the mother of three and a valued member of the California Avenue School faculty.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Steve Bandrowczak, NCC Class of 1987! Steve is the Chief Executive Officer for Xerox Corporation. He oversees the charter to drive business transformation for the enterprise services business to leverage technical and process solutions. Steve's company oversees more than 23,000 employees and he is a leader in the business world. Steve is a proud alum of Nassau Community College!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Frances Atkinson, NCC Class of 1989. Frances earned her BA degree from SUNY Albany and an MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins. Her hobbies include travelling, dancing, crafts and reading. Her interests include mental health, LGBTQ issues, and BIPOC issues. She sees herself as a leader and became involved in many activities during her time at NCC.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Gillian Atkinson, NCC Class of 2000. Gillian credits her journey in academia to her humble beginnings at NCC. She is the Director of Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion and Associate Director of the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement at Hofstra University. She is also an activist for equity and inclusion!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Mary Floratos, NCC Class of 2000. Mary is the Acting Associate VP for IT services at Nassau Community College, and has previously worked as the CTO/COO for an education company. She also worked with NCC from 2006-2013. Her hobbies include travelling, reading (especially historical fiction.). She loves British mystery TV shows, movies, and Broadway!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Cecilia Bradley, NCC Class of 2022. Cecilia's hobbies include reading self-help and self-development books, journaling, cycling and more. She is a volunteer and community activist with the Boy Scouts of America. Future work will be in the field of social work! As a non-traditional student, she feels it is never too late to earn a degree.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Janice Metzler, Class of 2023. Janice was the Valedictorian of the Social Work department, receiving an Associate in Arts degree. She is also a professional PGA golfer and golf instructor, with hobbies including reading and music.

Dr. Peck is a foot and ankle specialist who graduated from McGill University and received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine with a residency in Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital in NYC. His hobbies include ping pong, chess and nature. He has a degree is classical music performance and is seeking to expand his practice and become more involved at NCC.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Larry Lamendola, NCC Class of 1978. Larry is the sponsor of the Wantagh Lions Club. He discusses what Nassau Community College was like in the 70s!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Emeli Galvez ('16). Emeli got his Bachelor's in Hispanic Languages and Linguistics from Stony Brook University. His interests include poetry, running, improv theatre and believes NCC was his launching pad. He is currently developing a public speaking business called "Spunky Speakers" where people are encouraged to develop speaking skills.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Matthew Parker ('16). Matthew is a Hudson Valley singer-songwriter otherwise known a "Mattelight." He is a multi-instrumentalist who had a greatest hits album released in April 2023.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jenny Hernandez, NCC class of 1996. She was born in El Salvador and arrived in the US in 1992. She is married with 2 children - and has a beagle, an African grey parrot, an aquatic turtle, and betta fish! She is an ENL teacher who also received a bachelor's in communications from Queens College and a Master's from Hofstra University.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Fernando Negrete, NCC Class of 1998. After graduating NCC, he got his bachelor degree in Business from SUNY Old Westbury. He is a kitchen designer at the Home Depot and persued a masters at LIU. Upon graduating NCC, he gifted his grandfather in Ecuador, with a framed degree to prove that language is not a barrier, but something that will lead a hard worker to success.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Dr. Robin Williams, NCC Class of 2005. She has worked at Nassau Community College for 21 years. She began her career as a student aide! She also has a doctorate in Theology and serves as a faith counselor for spiritual mental health.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Marie Jose Saint Surin, Class of 2020. "Mary Jo" is an expert in technology, and all aspects of secretarial science. She earned her Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from NCC and an IT Certificate. She is also a chef, a church lector, an interpreter speaking French and Creole, and is pursuing her childhood education degree at SUNY Old Westbury.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Jamie Levine, NCC Class of 2017. Jamie is one of the WHPC Morning Show Producers. She is also working at an elementary school after-school program. She is trying to pursue a career in counseling. Her passion is radio and she would love to be on the air on an alt rock radio station!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Sandra Hurvey Hall, NCC Class of 2000. Sandra is a motivational speaker, stand-up comedian and the founder and CEO of the Nenniel Hurvey Scholarship Foundation. She is an educator, community activist, moderator, life coach, and focuses on providing workshops throughout the county on mental health, suicide prevention and youth education.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Symantha Wilson, NCC Class of 2020. "Sym Symma" is an award nominated producer, creative director, and consultant with a focus on developing culturally relevant content. In her role at Black Effect Podcast Network/iHeartMedia, Sym provides holistic support for culture shifting podcasts from concept to creation. She is a proud Guyanese woman who graduated summa cum laude from NCC with a degree in mass communication and media.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Alexandra 'Ally' Ramos, NCC Class of 2019, who describes herself as a super ambitious person who worked four jobs to complete her degree. She is a singer, songwriter, and creative artist who produces her own music and has collaborates with many other musicals. She is also a model, and works as a heart monitor technician. She is a mother to a 6-year-old girl, and has more than 10 pets!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Ro Armand, NCC Class of 2016. After taking public speaking, Ro fell in love with Communications and made that her major. She was a student volunteer, and is a current community volunteer at WHPC, and is currently persuing nursing, hoping to have dual careers.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Nicole Serzanin, NCC Class of 2019. Nicole earned a bachelor's degree in English Teaching and worked for a few years in education. She realized education was not her passion, so she came to Nassau Community College to persue TV and Radio. She volunteered at WHPC, interned at WKTU, and is now a part of the iHeartRadio National Events Team.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Janine Johns, NCC Class of 1993. Janine transferred to St. John's University after NCC. She is the General Sales Manager for Connoisseur Media Long Island, which includes KJOY, MAX 103.1, 94.3 THE SHARK, WALK 97.5 and 104.7 WHLI, as well as Ferocious Media. Janine has worked in media for 25 years and is very passionate about radio and sales. She is also the mother of four!

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Danny Epstein, Class of 1983. Danny is the founder of Raleigh SEO Team and Stratophi LLC, a digital marketing company that focuses on positioning clients as market leaders. He is a digital marketing strategist. He is a former professional musician, and was a sales manager for companies such as Ovation, Takamine, and Hamer Guitars.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Brian Buckley, Class of 2000. Brian attended Catholic University of America studying politics, only to realize it was not his passion and returned home to NCC and the Honors Program. He worked in the Honors office. Brian is currently a high school English teacher in the Plainedge School District, where he is also serves as Vice President of the Teachers Union and the English Department Coordinator.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Roosevelt Morring, NCC class of 2017. He is a SUNY Chancellors award winner from 2017 and has a degree in food and nutrition and a certificate in dietary management. He earned his bachelors from LIU. He is currently an advisor to the NCC Student Veterans club, volunteers at Long Island Cares and the Nest at NCC.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Kevell Allie, Nassau Community College Class of 2019! He joined the Alumni Association in the fall of 2018 as a student and now joins as one of the Board of Directors. During his time as a student at Nassau Community College, Kevell was a staff member at Vignette newspaper, Secretary and Public Relations of Haraya (Nassau’s Black Student Union), and had been involved in Student Government Association. In addition, he volunteered and worked in Orientation for Student Activities to guide incoming freshmen students and tour them around the campus. Kevell is currently attending Farmingdale State College, and he will be expected to graduate in the fall of 2022 with a bachelor's in Business Management.

Dr. Lynnda Nadien talks with Michelle D'Orazio, NCC Class of 1999, who is currently a kindergarten teacher at Smith Street School in Uniondale. Michelle worked for the Department of Education in NYC as a teacher specializing in literacy learning and early childhood education.
