Are you willing to trust God again—even when you feel tired, disappointed, or unsure of what comes next? In this powerful conversation, Charlotte and Steve explore how willingness can become the turning point for breakthrough, healing, purpose, stronger relationships, and renewed faith.

Willingness is more than willpower. It is the decision to keep showing up, keep praying, keep believing, keep forgiving, and keep trusting God when the process feels uncomfortable. Sometimes faith requires us to take a step before we can see the full outcome.

Through biblical stories including Hannah, Caleb, Zacchaeus, the woman with the issue of blood, and the woman who came to Jesus for her daughter’s healing, this episode encourages you to stay willing in every season. Whether you are believing God for a breakthrough in your marriage, family, health, career, finances, ministry, or personal life, God can meet your willingness with His power.

If you feel like you are pushing a boulder uphill, don’t give up. You may be closer to the tipping point than you think. Your willingness to pray, change, wait, learn, serve, forgive, and try again can open the door to what God wants to do next.

In this episode, we talk about:

How willingness unlocks spiritual growth and breakthroughWhy desperation can renew your faithWhat to do when disappointment has drained your willingnessStaying faithful when progress feels slowTrusting God’s timing instead of taking shortcutsWillingness in marriage, parenting, friendships, work, health, and ministryWhy God invites us forward but does not force usHow God’s power meets us when our own strength runs out

Question for you: Where is God asking you to become willing again? Share in the comments—we would love to pray for you.

  • 34 - Willingness Part 1 | E33

What do you do when life gets quieter—but you know God is not finished with you yet?

In Part One of this conversation, we talk about choosing willingness in every season of life. As children grow up, careers change, routines shift, and comfort becomes easier to choose, it can be tempting to settle into what feels familiar. But what if God is still asking us to lean in, keep growing, and stay available for what He wants to do next?

We explore the difference between simply wanting change and being willing to do what change requires. From our health and marriages to our purpose, calling, and legacy, willingness is a posture that says: “God, I may have a plan, but I trust You to direct my steps.”

    In this episode, we discuss:

Why we never want our passion for purpose to fade with age or changing seasons

How willingness keeps us fresh, teachable, and ready for what God wants to do

The connection between desperation, obedience, and lasting change

What the stories of Abraham, Naaman, and Caleb teach us about surrendering our will to God

How a willing life can impact and inspire the next generation

If you’ve felt weary, comfortable, stuck, or unsure whether you have the energy to keep believing for more, this conversation is for you. Our prayer is that God would awaken a fresh willingness in your heart—for your marriage, family, future, career, calling, and the dreams He has placed inside of you.

Stay tuned for Part Two, and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the rest of the conversation.

  • 33 - Set A Place | E32

What are you setting a place for? In this episode of Flight Club, Charlotte Gambill shares a powerful encouragement from the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings: sometimes the entrance point to a miracle begins with simply making room.

From hospitality and generosity to friendship, family, community, and faith, this conversation is an invitation to clear away the clutter and intentionally create space for God to move. You may not know exactly what miracle you need—but God does. What if your willingness to set a place becomes the beginning of a conversation, connection, provision, or breakthrough you never saw coming?

Charlotte explores the examples of the Shunammite woman, Martha, Ruth, and even the innkeeper at Jesus’ birth to remind us that miracles are often found not in striving or demanding, but in surrendering, serving, and making room.

  • 32 - Control or Release | E31

In this episode of Flight Club, Charlotte is talking about the kind of leadership that doesn’t cling too tightly, but knows when to hold things with open hands. True leadership is not about controlling every outcome; it’s about creating room for God to move, making space for others to grow, and having the courage to ask the questions that shift the atmosphere.

Just like Jesus, we should want to be permission-giving leaders who invite people onto the water, even if they might fail. Leaders who are willing to say yes to growth, yes to risk, and yes to the kind of faith that stretches people beyond what feels safe. Because sometimes the most powerful leaders are the ones brave enough to release, ask, and disrupt what’s been too comfortable.

  • 31 - Miracle In The Middle | E30

In this episode of Flight Club, Charlotte Gambill speaks straight to the middle moments of life, the place between the shore and the other side, where faith gets stretched, courage gets tested, and silence can feel heavy. Drawing from the heart of Miracle in the Middle, she reminds us that the middle is not wasted, God has not forgotten His word, and the miracle often comes while we are still rowing.

If you are wondering whether God still sees you, this conversation will encourage you to take courage, remember who is in the boat with you, and keep going. The middle may feel long, but it is also where Jesus is revealed in a fresh way, and where faith can rise stronger than fear.
