The Good Ole Boys Radio Show is an Urban Adult Contemporary program that airs music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, with the occasional hit from today. The show also incorporates hip hop from the 80's and 90's, which has not been prevalent with mainstream Urban AC audiences, but as the people who grew up in those decades get older, it makes sense to play music that they grew up on. But primarily, the music is R&B, funk, and the occasional pop hit. The show is hosted by THE! Mario Washington, Q Kittles, LeTroy Gardner, Gran Wiz and now Larry P, who bring their unique perspectives and humor to the show. They discuss a range of topics, from social issues to pop culture, with comedic takes as well as dramatic takes. The show is described by many as a cinematic journey inside the mind of black males. The Good Ole Boys Radio Show is a great way to relax and enjoy some classic music, while also hearing from four intelligent and entertaining hosts. It's a must-listen for fans of Urban Adult Contemporary music and black culture.

In this Made in the 90s edition of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show, the guys hop in the time machine and head straight back to the decade that raised them. From the shift in Black culture between the late ’80s and early ’90s, to the rise of Black ownership in music with Bad Boy, No Limit, Cash Money, Uptown, LaFace and more, the fellas break down how TV shows like Martin, In Living Color, A Different World, Fresh Prince, Saved by the Bell, New York Undercover and even Are You Afraid of the Dark? helped shape how we saw ourselves. They also rewind the movie catalog—Malcolm X, New Jack City, Boyz N the Hood, House Party, Lion King, Jurassic Park and more—while debating who really ran the decade on the big screen.
The crew also digs into the heavy side of the era with a real conversation about the crack epidemic, how it devastated Black communities, and how it compares to today’s opioid crisis. Then it’s back to the fun: Quincy's big fat yeast rolls, McDonald’s rap commercials and the Arch Deluxe, Pizza Hut Book It pies, Kid Cuisine trays, Little Debbie runs, plus 90s drip from Cross Colours and Karl Kani to FUBU, Starter jackets, Timbs, Wallabees, Nautica and Southpole.
Finally, they crown who truly ruled the 90s in sports (is it anybody but Michael Jordan?), music, and movies. This episode is pure nostalgia from start to finish.

On this episode of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show, the guys tackle the buzzword “mankeeping”—the idea that women carry the emotional, mental, and logistical load to keep men together. The crew breaks down what the article calls mankeeping versus what they call a real relationship, digging into vulnerability, pride, emotional labor, and why some men struggle to lean on their partners without dumping everything on them. They also get into how younger men are facing a friendship and loneliness crisis, often expecting their romantic partners to be their only source of connection because they lack strong male bonds.
From there, the conversation shifts to Black women’s role in the Black family, the legacy of grandmothers as matriarchs, and how culture, media, and labels like “mankeeping” miss the bigger picture of partnership and reciprocity. The fellas share personal stories about family, distance, marriage, emotional growth, and the thin line between support and control. In the end, they land on a simple truth: it’s not mankeeping—it’s called a relationship. Support each other, have your own lives, and stop expecting one person to carry your whole emotional load.

On this episode of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show, the guys tap in with some grown-man talk about aging out of the chase. They break down why so many men hit 40 and decide they’re done running behind women—and start protecting their peace instead.
They dive into how priorities shift from “spreading seed” to protecting assets, time, and mental health; why men become more selective while some women become less so; and how self-worth and reciprocity change the dating game. The crew talks about spotting red flags faster, refusing to waste time on chaos, and why purpose, legacy, and peace of mind hit harder than nightlife and numbers.
Along the way, they touch on Outkast’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, the difference between being “OG” and “Unc,” and why real companionship has to add value—not stress.
It’s funny, honest, and all the way actual factual… just how the Good Ole Boys do it.

In this episode of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show, the guys get real about toxic relationship dynamics—the ones folks rarely say out loud. Mario, Q, Trump, and Wiz trade war stories (phones cut off, flights with no Wi-Fi, payday loans and pride), then unpack the playbook: the reverse breakup (make you leave so she can play victim), unrealistic expectations (boyfriend vs. “be my daddy/therapist/ATM”), failure to support ambition (late nights on the grind), weaponizing intimacy, and the silent killer—lack of appreciation. They draw lines between social media fairy tales and real love, shout out partners who truly ride, and debate whether Disney dreams, daddy issues, and “finished product” dating are ruining grown-folk relationships. Humor? Always. Accountability? For everybody. If you’ve ever asked, “Am I crazy, or is this toxic?”—this one’s for you.
