- 1351 - Eastertide: Keeping the Feast | Podcast
What does it mean to feast in a world that rarely slows down long enough to celebrate?
In this episode, Worship Pastor Marty Reardon is joined by Pastors in Residence Chris and Caroline Hiler Albert to explore the meaning of Eastertide—the season of rejoicing in the resurrection of Jesus. Together, they unpack the contrast between Lent and Easter, the difference between cultural “treating” and true biblical feasting, and why celebration is actually a spiritual discipline.
From long, unhurried meals to creativity, community, and embodied joy, this conversation invites us to resist the rush of modern life and embrace a deeper, richer way of living as people of the resurrection.

- 1340 - Walking Into Lent: Mercy, Mortality, and Making Space | Podcast
In this episode, Kris shares a personal update following his recent car accident and ongoing recovery from a concussion. In a season marked by limitation, rest, and vulnerability, he reflects on what it means to live in the “shallow end” of life — and how being confronted with our mortality can become an unexpected gift.
From that deeply personal place, Kris invites us into the season of Lent. In a culture that teaches us to feast constantly, Lent calls us to something different: intentional restraint, wilderness, and honest acknowledgment of our need for mercy. This is not a season of self-improvement or spiritual performance. It is a time to make space — to fast in order to feast, to pull back so that Easter joy can truly feel like joy.Throughout Lent, Trinity will journey through the Psalms — the prayer book of God’s people — allowing their language to shape our own prayers, repentance, longing, and hope.
At the end of the episode, Kids & Youth Discipleship Pastor David McCune offers practical encouragement for families, including creative ways to practice Lent with children, celebrate Sundays as mini-Easters, and create simple devotional rhythms at home.Wherever you are — eager, exhausted, distracted, hopeful — you are invited. Let’s walk this road together.

What if the key to a stronger marriage isn’t another technique—but a deeper understanding of your story?
Dan and Becky Allender of the Allender Center join Lead Pastor Kris McDaniel and Care Pastor Jason Faulkner to discuss how understanding our personal and shared stories can transform the way we love, repair, and grow together in marriage. Drawing from decades of clinical wisdom, spiritual insight, and lived experience, Dan and Becky share the courage it takes to face conflict, the power of kindness in moments of rupture, and the art of repair that leads to deeper intimacy.
This episode also offers a glimpse into the heart of the upcoming Allender Center Marriage Conference, where couples will be invited to move beyond techniques and “how-to’s” and instead journey into the stories that shape their relationship. If you long for a marriage marked by care, honesty, and hope—even in the midst of complexity—this conversation will invite you to imagine what’s possible.

This year, Advent begins on Sunday, November 30. Advent is a season of waiting and preparation that marks the beginning of the Church’s liturgical year. For four weeks, Christians around the world set aside time to slow down, reflect, and prepare their hearts for the coming of Christ. In a culture that rushes toward Christmas, Advent calls us to a different posture—one of quiet expectation and holy anticipation. As you light Advent candles, participate in events like Advent Morning Prayer, and engage in our Advent Guides; we hope we will all make room for Christ—in our homes, in our hearts, and in our world.

- 1294 - Easter is a Season! | Podcast
Alleluia! He is risen! - Easter is the Church's rejoicing season. It is a fifty-day feast devoted to celebrating Jesus' Resurrection and the ultimate restoration of all things. Through the visions in the book of Revelation, we are reminded that the Kingdom of Heaven is not a long way off but all around us. Even while we experience hardship, pain, and disappointment, we can know that the victory of Jesus over Death is coming to bear through the work of the Church on earth as it is in heaven. Our joy comes from knowing Christ is risen, and Death is defeated. "We are an Easter People, and Alleluia is our song!"
Listen as pastors Kris McDaniel and Adrienne Christian discuss Jesus' resurrection and ways to engage the season of Easter.
